3 Chapter 4

Douxie POV:

"The Green knight that assailed us was clearly born of dark magics, but I have no memory of him nor what connection he could have to Morgana. Though his precedence is a dire omen of things to come"

That's when the sound of a loud bell stung my ears. It was the warning bell Galahad sets if there is danger coming. I look around to find Lay. But she wasn't in the room.

The bell slowly tunes out as a big blast flashes.

The castle starts to shake we all hit the ground.

"What's happening?" Claire yells as she stands up.

"Have you never been under attack before? To the battlements!" Merlin yells as we all run out of the room.

I see Laylah standing up near the centre of the castle platform.

"Laylah!" I yell and she quickly turns to me.

Merlin and I run up to her as a big red skull appears before us.

"Oh no, I think we have something of a problem" Arch says flying behind us

"Oh, Fuzz Buckets"

"No, the arcane order, they found us" Merlin says with a bit of worry in his voice.

"Everyone gets to safety now!"

"Fulgur praeca!"

A blast reaches the entrance of the ship but doesn't do much. A long ice path connects to our ship. The ship makes all of us fall to ground. Merlin loses his balance and he loses grip on his staff.

"My staff!"

Archie rushes to try and grab it.

"I got it!"

"I lost it"

"Man, the cannons, we must flee!"

I run towards the steer of the castle and start trying to turn it.

"They're boarding us! We must break free, steer on my command!"

"I'm on it!" I shout

"Miller! With me!" Merlin shouts as Lay follows Merlin

Laylah POV:

I run behind Merlin as I see Blinky get flung in the air.

"HAVEE YOUU FOUNNDDD THEE STAFF!" He yells looking at Archie

"I'm on it"

"Blinky!" I yell playing my magic straight towards Blinky.

"AHHHHH" He screams

I focus all my focus towards Blinky. It was hard to keep upright as the ground was shaking and moving so much.

I lock my eyes at Blinky as I blast him back to where Aargh is standing. I release knowing he is safe. I let a sigh of give a smile as Blinky and Aargh smile at him.

Then a sudden blast of coldness hit my left shoulders. It was so cold it was stinged my shoulder. I cry out pain as I hit the ground. My head banged on the ground with a loud thud. I clenched my shoulder in pain.

Merlin shushes to my side.

"Lay!"

"These foes powers are beyond us!"

"Merlin!"

"No Nari"

"This is all my fault"

"I will take us to the past but you must help me"

"I'll do what I can"

She looks over Merlin shoulder and see's me laying there. She gasps and runs over to me. I lay there helplessly clenching my shoulder.

She placed her hands on my shoulder as a small of green light flashes. The pain slowly fades away. I vision returns to normal and I sit up.

I look straight to Nari. "Thank you"

She gives me a smile and runs inside the castle.

"Might want to keep an eye out for blasts of magic eh? You would think you would be cautious of that from the start in this type of situation" Merlin says helping me up.

"Hey! Shush! I was saving Blinky thank you much so I deserve a gold star sticker for my determination" I tease him with my arms crossed.

Archie fly's around looking for the staff.

"Where's the staff? Where's the staff?"

"Archie find the staff or we are all dead meat!" I heard the sound of Douxie's voice from above

"What do you people think I'm doing?!"

"Archie, I'm running out of time here!" Merlin yells as we both bash the ice bridge with swords.

"Got it!"

"Surender Merlin" Skraal cackles as he flies towards us.

"Never!" He yells standing front of me with his hand out.

"Merlin! Miller!"

"Get everyone to safety!"

It was galahead!

He broke from the ice that was holding him and pushed the lever on the platform. He was flying towards all the bridges that were made of ice.

"No! Galahad! What are you doing?!!" Merlin and I yell

And before we knew it all the ice bridges had collapsed and so had the platform Galahad was on.

He died saving us all…

My eyes start watering a bit. Two tears rolled down my eyes.

"Farewell, our old friend" Merlin sighs

He turns to me. I take a deep breath and places his hand on my shoulder.

"Hisoudoux now!"

I run up to the platform to go and help Douxie. When I got there Claire and Steve were standing behind him as he pulled the steering wheel to side.

"Please don't blow up, please don't blow up"

"We don't have enough power for the jump" Archie yells

"Oh yes we will!" I whisper remembering what Merlin asked Nari to do

"Trust in Merlin!"

The gem started the light up. All thanks to Nari it was working.

A beam of light flashes in the sky as I could see Camelot 900 years back.

"Hold it together, come on!"

"We have to steer Camelot through the time rift!"

The arcane order's ship starts to open. The three evil wizards. Bellrock, Skraal and The Green Knight were standing next to eachother.

Merlin gasped as he turned to me. My mouth dropped as I gasped.

"It….. ends...… now"

"Oh, sod it all" Merlin sighed
