As the three walked towards the shopping district they enjoyed their buns. Issac, after eating a quarter of his gave the rest to Thomas. "Thank you." Thomas said while munching on half of the lian tea bun.

As they walked on the cobblestone walkway Issac and Thomas will glance at the other stalls. While they do that Clara looks at the various houses. Each one is made of beige colored bricks, a small window next to the redwood front door. On the second floor is another two windows, a small spire reminiscent of a nobles manor or castle sits on the top right of each building.

Each home is connected at the sides, forming an organized line of miniature castles. Clara truly loves her home but sometimes she wonders what it would be like to live in one of these tiny castles.

As they walk past the outskirts and residential district the three find themselves in the shopping district. Unlike the residential buildings the shops are rather small. Only one story high and with a flat roof each shop gives a humble feeling.

Just as the three are about to enter a butchery a small crowd and excited cheers stop them. Issac and Thomas look curiously. Clara sees this and decides that the meat can wait. "Come on. Get on mommy's shoulders." She said as she picked the boys up.

As they enter the crowd the sounds of excited children and cheering adults grows stronger.

"Cool!" Issac screamed.

In the center of the crowd is an elderly man wearing a brown suit, black leather pants, and a matching bowler hat. In his right hand is a small red cane.

A large amount of pink water flows around him, taking on multiple shapes. It's a snake in one second, then a dragon in another, a small portion splitting off to become little birds. As the various water animals fly around the suns light reflects, creating small balls and rays of pink light dancing around the man.

Seeing the crowd cheer him more he grabs a vial full of white powder and tosses it into the air. He then twirls his cane before smashing it. The moment he does the area above his head fills with a purple fire.

The fire begins to branch apart, forming a field of small flowers. The pink water collects and splits into countless small streams. Some of them go past the glowing flowers and some become small strands loosely hanging from their bottom.

"And now for the big finale!" The man said with a slight bow.

Instantly the blossoming fire flowers spread across the crowd, a collection of light pink water doves flying in between each person. Issac seeing a flower float towards him, immediately moves away.

Seeing this Clara giggles.

Meanwhile Thomas reaches out and directly grabs a flower. It fills his small palms. A gentle purple light shines on his face as a pleasant warmth fills his body. Suddenly, Thomas feels something wet and warm slide down his cheeks.

Clara immediately panics and begins to wildly run to the nearest doctor immediately starts crying, making sure to stop and slap the man first. As she tries her hardest to comfort Thomas, Issac begins to worry. Regardless of what they say Thomas doesn't hear a single word.

It's so pretty. I wonder, if I could do this before would I have been able to help my sister. Would I have the guts to fight off my past parents? He thinks to himself.

Feeling the warmth of the fading flower in his hands Thomas knows what he wants to do in this life. "Hey mom. What did that guy do?" He said. Clara looks at him clearly concerned. Issac seeing that Thomas is fine sighs in relief.

What happen to Tom? Issac thinks to himself.

Clara, seeing Thomas's clear interest in the mans show sighs. "Tommy that man is a mage but he's a bad mage. Don't be like him." She said while shaking her head is disapproval.

What did he do wrong? He didn't burn me and everyone really seemed to like the show. Thomas thought to himself. "Why?"

Clara begins to think to herself, wondering how she can make her explanations appropriate for kids.

"Em, Mages usually help people. They keep us safe and healthy. They make crops like your daddy's grow better. Mages like that man don't help us. All they do is walk around and use flashy spells and leave. They don't protect us, they don't help the farms, and they are very greedy." She said

So basically they're the bastard version of Old Man Thomas. Issac thinks to himself.

I don't get it? These people go around entertaining the people. Plus if there's ever an emergency its good to have some spare mages inside town right? Sure they may not be helping in the most direct way but making people happy can help the town as a whole. Thomas thinks to himself.

In the end, after seeing his mothers concerned stare Thomas decides to stay quiet. I must never disrespect mom, he thinks to himself.

Seeing this Issac decides to speak up. "So can we be good mages?" He said. Tommy really should loosen up on his old values. He thinks to himself.

Seeing Thomas and Issac staring at her so excitedly she hesitates before eventually agreeing. "Ask your dad." She said, happy that she managed to avoid the question.

And so after a short stop the three begin shopping. First Clara buys a pound of pork, then she stops by the produce market to buy some carrots and some seasoning. While doing this Issac ask her for an apple.

After looking around for a few minutes, holding the twins hands so they don't get lost in the bustling market, she find a stall selling green apples for thirty pence each. "Thank you!" Issac said before munching into the plump, juice filled apple.

After spending another hour walking around town the three go back home. At this point Clara is visibly tired. Her blonde hair has become a curly mess and the light blue dress she's wearing is sticking to her body, revealing her slender figure. As they walk Issac and Thomas will occasionally glance at their mom.

They know their mom is attractive. Her chubby face, slender hips, and flat chest as well as her short stature make her seem rather cute. Even so, the twins don't want so many men glancing at her bum or non-existent chest as they pass by.

Fuck off you perverted freak. Issac thought to himself as he flipped a staring baldy.

Do you people have to make it so obvious. Thomas though to himself as he started walking directly behind her.

As soon as the three made it out of town Issac and Thomas calm down. Of course Thomas and Issac are each carrying a small brown bag full of fruits. Clara tries to take the bags herself but Thomas and Issac refuse to let her.

You do so much for us. This is the least we can do. Thomas thinks to himself.

Your clearly exhausted. Just let us do some of the work. Issac thinks to himself.

And so the three made their way back home, the twins covered in sweat as they struggle to place the groceries on the kitchen counter. Immediately after Clara goes to the restroom and hops in the shower. Since Daryle won't be home until dinner the boys take this chance to let loose.

"So you want to become a mage gramps?" Issac said.

"It does seem to be a rather interesting occupation." Thomas responded.

Issac, in response rubs his forehead. He knows full well that Mages are likely forced into military, construction, and farming jobs. If Grandpa Thomas becomes a mage, even if he gets lucky he will likely have what he can do restricted. If he acts without meeting the set standards of a mage someone a lot less patient than their mom could hurt him.

"Do you want to become a mage or do you want to study magic as a hobby?" Issac said with clear concern in his young voice.

"I'll learn more about mages and see where I should go from there." Thomas responded.

Hearing Thomas's response Issac sighs in relief. It would be best if we just lived normal, happy lives now that we're free from the rain. Issac thought to himself. Suddenly Issac remembers his first thought when he found himself in this world.

"Hey gramps. What do you think happened to everybody back on earth?" Issac said while coldly staring at the roof.

Thomas sighs, thinking for a few seconds before responding. "I don't know. All I know is that we were reincarnated. Maybe everybody else was as well?"

Since they first arrived the pair have always wondered why they were reborn. Is this god's rewards for surviving the rain? They can't be the only ones that reincarnated right? What if we are the only survivors from earth?

As much as they try to stay hopeful the thought that everyone the know and loved is really gone will always be there. Thankfully, they were given a pair of loving parents that helped them open up the new world when they knew nothing but fear and confusion.

Remembering the feeling of Clara's warm embrace when he was scared Thomas smiles. "We will be the best kids ever." Thomas said while looking at Issac with a smile.

"...Yeah" Issac said.

Issac does miss his earth parents. They love him and he loves them. When he lost them to the rain he was truly heartbroken. For some unknown lady to suddenly become his mother he will certainly be reluctant to accept her.

Even so, he knows that Clara truly loves him. Even if your'e not my earth parents I will treat you like them. Issac though to himself.

After a little over five minutes Clara finishes showering. She comes out wearing a brown knee length dress with a purple floral print on the collar."Alright. Do you want mommy to shower with you?" She said while drying her wet hair with a towel.

The twins immediately say no. Even though she's their mother, due to their adult minds and attachment to their past world they have some trouble accepting her motherly actions.

Like when they were four and forced to accept their fate as she helped them shower while wearing only a loose towel. Since then they've decided to loosen up on the child act and show that they can safely take and work a shower.

And so the twins shower, talking about visiting the library if their mother lets them.
