"um.. my younger sister is back in the country.. do you mind having dinner together." Matthew asked hesitantly

"you go ahead, let's have dinner another time." 'i can't be meeting his family now, how will I introduce myself? his "girlfriend" or his "friend" we are not dating but we are not normal friends, we kissed several times, we shared a bed afew nights, we are even having kids together and we are not married. ooh shit, it's a rollercoaster story. anyway I don't want to be in a tight spot.' "just drop me on the next station I'll take a cab home." she decided to protect herself and her children. 'if the Huo's get wind that I have their descendants, they might fight for custody. I'm sure Matthew won't do that because he's guilty about that night, but his family might hunt me to no end.' she thought

"actually my sister is not bad, she's just a little bit spoiled but she's friendly."Matthew decided to speak for his sister "it's just a meal nothing else. we won't complicate things."he coaxed her

"okay then, I'll act natural as if we are nomal friends." she gave in. 'anyway I'll have to meet them sooner or later, we can't change Coleman and Chloe real father.'

"good girl." he tucked her hair behind the ear. 'that's my girl, she is not a coward.'

by the time they reached at alioth building they found Sheffield in the private room.

"hi Matthew, I thought you said you were with your girlfriend, where is she. you really don't want to introduce us huh?" he was blabbing as always

"she went to bring some gifts, it isn't good to meet someone new empty handed." Matthew explained

" I'm I getting a gift too?" Sheffield asked expectantly

"Gifford didn't get anything when they met, probably you won't get anything." Matthew answered smugly

"that's so unfair. I am supposed to..."

"speaking about unfairness, what have you prepare as her gift?" Matthew interrupted him.

"huh?" Sheffield was still in a daze

"it's give and take, where Evelyn?" Matthew did want to explain to Sheffield like he's teaching an elementary kid.

"ooh she went out to pick up a call."

Glory went to a clothing store, she went direct to the jewelry aisle. she got a good eye on almost everything. she spotted a simple diamond necklace it was called "moon embracing the sun" it was the new limited edition diamond necklace. she wanted to buy it for Matthew's sister but someone took it before her.

when she looked at the girl who took it she found her familiar. 'where have I seen her?

nevermind I'll just remember some other time. anyway I can't compete with her, even though I have alot of money, I can't compare to her. she looks like a heiress of a wealthy family.' while she was thinking how she has loose that diamond necklaces, she heard the girl saying "you got good eyes, you can have it, I'll look for something else." 'she's really generous.'

"thank you, even though we saw it together you were the first one to reach out for it, so naturally it will belong to you." Glory always believe in karma. if you take what's not yours, your's will also be taken away by someone else.

"aah, you look familiar though." the girl said.

"I felt the same too." Glory replied.

"have you ever been in A country?" the girl asked

" mmh, I was there for some time." she answered 'so it was in A country.'

"aah! finally I got to meet you again." the girl shrieked and hugged Glory

Glory"....!" "um... can you let me go, I can't breathe if you hug me that tight.

"sorry, I was so overwhelmed just now. since you saved my life that night, I'll officially hand over the diamond necklace with no strings attached. it's now yours." she said happily

"I am going to give it away anyway, I'll take it then."she only took it because it's a gift for someone. they walked around the shop and Glory picked a tie, a watch and other stuffs and they walked out of the shop happily

the other girl bought other presents.

now that they were out of the shop they needed to part ways

"I'll see you off from here miss Anderson, I'm heading upstairs for dinner." the girl said

"I'm heading upstairs too miss Huo, we should bid good bye when we are living the elevator "the other girl was Evelyn Huo

"this is really fate." Evelyn was chatting with glory like old buddies. " by the way, I'm not sure if I'll be crossing the line. that year you saved me from the accident you were pregnant and was almost due, did you deliver safely?"she asked hesitantly

"there is no need to apologize, and yes I did deliver safely..."

"where's the baby? what's the gender? what about..."she was acting like a worried aunt.
