Hey Estela...

Hours have passed since the fight between Bucky and Estela, Estela had to go into surgery but Bucky hadn't been able to rest easy. Currently, he was lying on his bed and staring at the roof, he had awoken from a nightmare and couldn't get back to sleep. Estela had been on his mind since he first saw her and he couldn't get her out, not that he wanted to anyway.

Steve had offered to stay with him for the night but Bucky politely refused the offer, just wanting to be alone. Well, alone he was. Buck just wanted to see Estela and see how she was doing....as well as apologising for stabbing her with her knife but she might as well have killed him.

Bucky sighed and got up, slowly opening his door and walking done the hallways while trying not to wake Steve up who was in his room sleeping, which shouldn't be much of a shock. :|

He quietly strolled through the apartment when he accidentally stepped on a creaky floorboard, he froze.

'And what do you think you're doing Buck?' Steve's voice said, echoing through their apartment in Avengers Tower. Bucky gulped and slowly turned around, facing Steve who had his "Why the fuck did you wake me up?" look.

'Erm....getting a drink?' Bucky said slowly, Steve sighed and walked up to him.

'Bucky, I know what you're doing. You can't lie about anything to me, because you know I always find out in the end.' Steve yawned, Bucky sighed heavily. 'You're desperate to see her, I get that, but she's in surgery because of her mis-'

'She was afraid Steve! You said it yourself, she might attack because she's afraid, and that's what she did! I tried to talk her out of it like you do but it didn't work but then.....'

'But then what?' Steve grumbled while crossing his arms and leaning against the wall, clearly tired.

'But then it was like the Winter Solider was in control.' There was silence between the two adults, Steve with wide eyes and Bucky who was guilty.

'Bucky, that's impossible, Okoye freed you when we last visited Wakanda.'

'I know. But it felt like he was in control and then-' Bucky remembered when he stabbed Estela and twisted the knife in her stomach. Steve put a hand on Bucky's shoulder.

'Hey, it's going to be okay.' Steve said, Barnes smiled weakly as the door behind them opened.

'Bruce?'

'Uh, Hey guys.' Banner said nervously like always, even if he's with people he considers family. 'So.....the surgery-'

'Was it successful?' Bucky questioned, facing Banner.

'The surgery...was successful.' Bucky sighed in relief, a warm smile spread across Rogers, Barnes and Banner's face. 'You can come and see her now but just remember she may not be happy to see you, especially after.....you know.'

'Alright, shall we go then Buck?'

'Yeah.' The three men walked to the lab where they Bruce was doing the surgery on Miller, they entered the room and slowly walked towards the bed where Estela was. They got to the bed and saw Estela lying down with a oxygen mask on, her eyes flicked to Barnes and then narrowed.

'Um, Hey Estela.....'
