You don't know?

After treating Gael's wounds and bruises, with Lara's help in completing the whole story, Violet was able to see the whole picture of what was currently happening.

Gael's father worked under a company that belonged to the bully leader's family. It was understandable why the boy decided to keep quiet. If he said a word, even if everyone at school takes his side and was able to suspend the students that targeted him, his father would lose his position.

"Then as long as the complaint didn't come from you, then you don't have to worry about your father, right?" Violet crossed her arms. "The problem is... if your father won't settle the matter, his position will be threatened."

"I... just have to endure until the end of the semester... so you don't really have to help me, Ms. Song. We're graduating soon so... I have to endure it..."

"Are you crazy? We need to teach those basta-" Lara paused and instantly corrected, "We need to teach them a lesson before we graduate. They need to be punished! What if they enrolled in the same University as you? Even if the campus will be big, one day, they'll see you and then they'll target you again."

"I agree with your friend. Even if you can endure, they will continue with their attitudes and prey on others. Since you belong to the graduating year, it's crucial to be careful for your year, that includes others." Violet explained. "So, if we are to have to give them proper punishments, we need to deal with them correctly."

"Why are you willing to help us, Ms. Song?" Gael suddenly asked as he looked at her with a serious gaze. "Even our homeroom teacher turned a blind eye to this."

A crease ended up forming in between her brows when she heard what he said. Their homeroom teacher turned a blind eye? So that means that... whoever their homeroom teacher is, he or she knew what was happening...

"It is a teacher's duty to guide the students. I am still a part of this school. Even if it's not you, I will still try to help the students. The rules are made to follow. Everyone is under the law, no one is exempted no matter how rich a person is." But even if that was the case, a huge amount of money can be so tempting for others no matter what their work was. That's human nature.

"The world is unfair but as long as we stay true to our beliefs, even if it's just a little, at least we can make a better place."

The two students ended up staring at her in awe. They never knew that she was that kind of person. Their school nurse was usually a quiet person and so it easily gave them the expression that she was someone who liked to ignore things around her. They saw her as a person who was hard to approach and make conversation because of the air she was giving. Who would have thought that the person who would end up helping them would be her?

A small laugh escaped Gael's lips, "I always thought Ms. Song can never speak more than two sentences..."

Violet chuckled instead at what he said. She couldn't really blame him since she was never close to the students.

"Now then, why don't you give me a list of the students who did this to you before you both head back to class?"

...

Later that day, Violet went to visit Abigail in the faculty room after classes ended since she was handling a section from the graduating year. It was a good thing that when she entered the office, only a few teachers have come back from their classes.

"Well, it's not surprising for parents to bribe the teachers." Her friend answered with a whispering tone to avoid being heard by other faculty staff.

The frown on Violet's forehead went deep, she suppressed the urge to raise her voice but at the same time she wanted to do it to make them feel guilty, "And they call themselves teachers? They're only raising corrupt leaders for the next generation by doing this. No wonder some of our political leaders are dumb."

Abigail chuckled in amusement. It was rare for her to see Violet this mad. "Anyway, two of these students are from my class and three of them belonged to Teacher Kang."

"Don't tell me you're also turning a blind eye to this?" She scowled at her friend.

"If I knew something like this was happening, do you think I'll just sit still? Even if their parents offer me money, I won't accept it."

"Ah… yeah. You might end up taking a photo of them and post them in your blog instead…"

"Right? I have a lot of fans waiting for entertainment. I also have an image to uphold."

"And here I thought that Abby's face looked familiar."

The two women turned their heads to Lucas who stood before them.

"You're the internet celebrity I once saw in the news." He grinned at her.

"I dated a lot of actors; which news are you talking about?"

"You did?" He blinked a few times.

Violet turned to her friend in confusion. She knew that she dated a lot of famous men but not once did her name showed up in the news concerning her relationship with them. Instead, the news talked about her trending videos.

"What?" Abigail was looking from Lucas to Violet, clueless about what they were thinking about.

"You don't know?"

"No. I usually avoid the news when I'm dating famous men." But now that she thought of it. The fans of those men never lashed out to her. She quickly grabbed her phone and checked the old news about her break up with those men but nothing appeared. There was no news about her relationship with them as well but instead, it was their relationship with another woman. "Huh… HUH?!!"
