4 Baby girl?

Before her performance began, just like what she did earlier, Violet requested for a week's leave from the manager to which she agreed to since Violet has always been hardworking.

The hotel she was working in had a classy style in it. One couldn't enter the place without making a reservation in advance. Known people from both the business and entertainment world visited the place. It truly was a high-end place that simple people couldn't enter.

As she stepped on her small stage and sat at the stool, she faced the piano. She breathed in deeply before she placed her fingers on the keys. She suddenly felt her sight became blurry and because of that, she tried her best to concentrate until she was able to see clearly again.

One by one, her slender fingers pressed on the keys, and as she did, the sound of piano soon filled the room, and later on, it was followed by her sweet singing voice as if a mermaid itself was there, singing beautifully for everyone in the place. Once again, she captured the ears of the people of the place.

Every night, she would only perform for an hour before leaving the stage, and just like how it usually was, gifts were sent to her dressing room. Gifts coming from those who had their souls touched with her original songs.

There was always one gift that came from the same person, X. This time, the gift he sent was a box of chocolates.

There was a small note on top of the neatly wrapped box. The message written in it was: 'I hope this can make you feel better. - X."

Violet may have looked and acted like her usual self that day but she was actually feeling down. In fact, she was feeling unwell, and yet she was only forcing her body up to its limit just to get her work done.

She opened the box and saw the delicious looking round chocolates inside. There was something in the dark brown sweet she had always found beautiful. The way it glistened when it melted. The way it crumbled when it was hard. It was exotic; made from a far grown cocoa bean. As she took a piece and ate it, in her mouth it turned to liquid and let her discover a new pleasure.

She could feel slight bitterness mixed with the sweetness. Surprisingly, she liked how the two flavors spread in her mouth. Her heart ached for more. She ate a few more pieces- no, scratch that. She ate half of the chocolate in the box before she decided that it was time to leave.

She changed her clothes and cleaned up her face. This time, she went out of the dressing room with her bare face. She was carrying her bag that was filled with the gifts on her shoulder.

She entered the elevator and as the door was about to slide close, a hand stopped it, making the elevator's door open again.

She raised her head and there she saw a beautiful angel step inside and stood in front of her. The man was simply too beautiful, even the word was not enough to describe it.

The man had an eagle-like eye that stared down at her as if they were piercing into her soul. He had an eye-catchy silver hair. From his nose to lips, everything was perfect. It was so unfair that a man as beautiful as he was living in the human world! She has never seen a man as handsome as him!

The side of his lips curled up and the sharp gaze he had on his face softened. "Yes?" A gentle and mellow voice was heard coming from him. "Do I have something on my face?"

"Yes sir, you have a godly face and I want one." Oh, how she wished that she could say those words out loud but she didn't. They were only heard in her thoughts.

Violet snapped out of her trance upon realizing that she was ogling at the man's beauty. She quickly lowered her head and apologize, "I-I'm sorry."

For some reason, she could feel her face heat up. What was happening? Why was she suddenly feeling so restless? She could even feel her tummy turning up!

"Sorry?" He blinked a few times, "What for?"

"N-nothing." She suddenly felt her head aching and at the same time, once again, dizzy. Was it because of the elevator?

The man didn't seem to notice the change on her but she was acting kind of weird. He turned away and was about to press the button for the basement parking lot but when he saw that it was already lit up, he straightened his back and stood beside her.

As the elevator traveled down, no one spoke between them.

Ding! The elevator bell rang before the door slid open.

Violet was about to take a step forward to go out but she ended up wobbling.

By reflex, the man beside her instantly caught her by her shoulder before she could even fall.

With a worried look, the man asked, "Are you alright, baby girl?"

Baby girl?

What the hell? It was so cringy! Hearing it only made her want to puke!

He may be handsome but what the hell was that?!

She turned to him, looking so pale.

"What is it, little-" Before he could even call her with another cringy nickname, she held on his arm and ended up vomiting in front of him.
