One of the best novels I've had the pleasure of reading and I recommend that people should read this novel too. BUT, beware the update stability of this novel. The two translators behind this novel are, in my shortest words, uncommitted pieces of ****. As of right now, they have gone on another unannounced hiatus and haven't posted for a few days once again. So, if you want to read this novel, I recommend that, when you are done reading the translated chapters so far, forget about this novel for a few months. Only then can you have some sort of guarantee that you will be able to read new chapters, but, considering how much the translators dissappear, I'm even thinking they might drip this soon. Other than that, you will have a blast reading this novel. To the new readers, enjoy your supply of way of the devil while it lasts because you will be in for a world of hell if you expect a chapter every 2 days or so.

You want to read this, but you can not. Your grandchildren will read it... If you want to do a good deed Help translating the text... Do not be afraid, you'll even have time to learn Chinese...

Good novel like this are getting axxed by qidan while trash novel with romance with subtle rapes and cliche dense mc who makes illogical decisions are still top in power ranking what a world we live in .

Overall, this is a very good novel. The only bad thing about it is that you will only get updates once in a blue moon. That's how retarded the update speed is.

Why do I get the feeling that it will take me less time to read this story by getting the Raws and actually learning Chinese instead of waiting for translations?

Everything about this novel is perfect, besides it's lack of translator. Only novel i spent money on to unlock more chapters. Reread what's already been translated 3-5 times, and it never feels stagnant to me. The MC becomes an existence that even immortal ghosts, and horrifying devils fear.

This is a punishment review. The novel is awesome, the author is great, and the traductors are passable, but FOUR CHAPTERS AT BEST PER MONTH FOR A PREMIUM NOVEL, IF NOT ONE, IS SIMPLY UNBEARABLE. As a reader, willing to spend spirit stones, I think this is simply outrageous.

A great novel with a great translation. This isn't your typical xianxia with a harem or violent bloodthirsty and arrogant MC. Instead you get an enjoyable and thrilling read about a mortal who wants to fight back against the heavens! The world building is great, and the power balances are also more consistent than other novels. The story does kind of develop slowly in the beginning but that just helps it become more enjoyable later! Also, it's great that the chapters are coming out consistently and the translations are also on point with nice footnotes for that extra bit of understanding. Definitely worth a read! Give it ago!

fabulous story, but translation speed is just too slow. which kill all the interest of this great novel. quidan is really ignoring this novel and focusing on bringing other ****ty novels.

I will just rate it 1 now, because I rather see it dropped than wasting my time to check and see if there is a chapter this fucking days. Seriously what the point to continue when the rate is so low.

I usually don't write reviews but I'll make an exception for this one. This is one of the few novels with a very mature vibe, the world background is VERY dangerous and we have a level headed MC who actually knows his limitations and don't take stupid and reckless decisions because of some dao-heart bull****! He is aware that actions have consequences and he stays low-key while increasing his powers, increasing the safety of his followers in the dark. he is not some arrogant and prideful asshole, nor horny-perverted kid and certainly not a power hungry sociopath! The story is very endearing and full of mysteries about ghosts, demons, devils and enhanced humans, composing a complex system of power which keeps the reader from getting bored. Now, translator, I want to thank you for the amazing translation quality, you really did a good job on that part BUT please just give it up! You can't shamelessly hold such a masterpiece unto yourself when you clearly lack time and dedication for stable updates; Hell, I would prefer dual daily updates for much less quality than the torture you are putting us through!

This is a very great novel. The translation quality is also good. But Mr.translator can you please increase translation rate? Waiting for a new chapter is killing me. 3 per week is too slow compared to other novels. Still it’s better than nothing so I’m very grateful to you. This could have a better rank if the translation is fast enough.
