Regulations Confirmed

Justice opened her eyes in the third city once more. She breathed deeply, her eyes alight in this world. She turned, feeling fingers slipping between hers. Symphony had a wide smile, her face fully blue.

"I've never held anyone's hand before... is it okay?"

Justice turned her face away, unable to resist the cuteness that Symphony pulled. She extended her fingers, gripping Symphony's hand in hers.

"Sym, we need to get this quest from Mai. Okay? Th-then... we can hang out some more."

[Admin permissions have been unlocked.]

"Wait... Sym?"

"I see it too. What did we unlock? We're already-"

[Emotional wavelengths confirmed. Admin may now get closer to their significant other.]

"Sym... Mai is teasing us."

She turned back, Symphony's face a soft azure.

"Th-this is like w-we're married!"

A couple of bystanders looked over, some were shocked while others were curious about the pair of women.

"Ugh, Mai! Quest, not making things more confusing! Y-you're making my girlfriend blush..."

Steam seemed to burst from Symphony's head, making Justice get closer. Her eyes were a little concerned, but Symphony just couldn't stop herself as she drew near. She grasped Justice's face from both sides, pulling her closer as their lips met. Justice pushed away, covering her mouth.

"H-hey... not in public. I don't want people to see your face like that."

Symphony had a rather lewd look to her smile as she hugged Justice's arm.

"Can't help it. That was nice. Hehe. Apparently, the quest is to fight some Bugs that appeared. We can go whenever... wait, what's wrong?"

Justice sighed, quickly pulling Symphony away from the crowd.

"Was the kiss really that bad? I-I'll stop-"

Justice placed her finger against Symphony's lips.

"No, the kiss was fine. More than fine. It's just about Rook..."

"What did that idiot do now?"

Justice began to tell Symphony about what happened, from the fight to the Bug all the way until she met up with her before they logged out. By the time she finished, Symphony had a rather displeased look on her face.

"So he got a strange buff, but he stopped talking? That man loves his voice, so a Human Bug is a huge problem. Damn... let's just get this over with. I'm pretty sure I need to eat IRL, and I think a certain beauty knows how to cook."

Symphony batted her lashes in a cute and seductive manner, but all Justice did was lean in really close. Symphony quickly turned blue, her instincts to back away fully suppressed, however.

"I'll cook you something, but I'll need something in return."

"Wh-what?"

"You'll see."

And with that, Justice placed one hand against Symphony's cheek. That one gesture seemed to make her knees weak, up until Justice actually kissed her. It was soft, but both girls seemed to melt into it until they finally resisted enough to back away.

"My face burns... God you're just making my heart beat so fast."

Symphony's smile made Justice giggle softly, her own heart quick and full.

"Okay! Let's go. The Bugs are pretty close, but keep in mind how to deal with them. I'm a mage, you're a tank. Since we don't have a healer, you need to be careful. I'd like to avoid getting others involved as well, if they die... we don't need another Rook."

Justice nodded in confirmation, quickly leading Symphony from the town and towards the area that was marked for the quest.

"Hey, how strong do you think your gear will be when the set is complete? Especially when you get the special class! Hehe! I'm looking forward to it, especially when it comes to making the sword. I purchased the materials from a friend of mine, so I'll have them in another couple days."

Justice smiled softly.

"Don't know, and thanks. I'll repay you, somehow."

"Hugs and kisses will suffice."

Justice could already tell that Symphony was now blushing again.

'She is too easy to tease, even easier to fall for.'

The girls found themselves finally entering the area of the Bugs. They quickly noticed that the debuff was knocking off some defense, but not a dangerous level.

"You ready?"

"Definitely. Let's get some levels for you!"

The two girls smiled and laughed as they dashed into the swarm of Bugs. Although weaker than a regular Bug, their numbers were no joke. For every kill, Justice found three to take over.

"More than expected. Hey, Justice back off for a minute!"

Justice glanced towards Symphony, quickly slicing another group of Bugs down before backing away. Symphony had her gun lifted towards the moon, her eyes alight with magical energy.

"This is my ultimate skill! Lunar Harvest!"

In rapid succession, she shot one of her portals out at the moon and another directly into the group of enemies. Before Justice could even ask, and incredible vacuum force began to tear the Bugs into the portal. Symphony had strange contraptions from her legs dig into the ground, while Justice quickly shoved her blade into it. When the enemies were finally fully sucked in, Symphony shot another portal at a nearby tree. A few Bugs fell through, quickly finished off by Justice.

"Could you warn me next time?! I almost got sucked in! Damn."

Symphony couldn't help herself, she giggled uncontrollably until Justice grabbed her arm and placed her forehead against hers. The giggles stopped as her face began to burn, but Justice turned around and walked away slightly.

"H-huh? I was expecting a kiss..."

"Hmm? For laughing at me? Maybe in real life, but in here... I can resist your charms."

"Hey! Are you talking about my boobs again!?"

Justice turned a little red.

"They're nice, not a charm! What the heck did you learn? Not that I don't like them... but still! You weirdo."

"Ugh... jerk. Let's get back to town. I'm not gonna teleport though. Much rather walk with you."

The pair of girls began to walk, hand in hand. They were feeling content, warmth spreading from their hearts as they laughed and chatted together.

"Care to explain yourself? You ignore me, even act out against me, yet here you are. You're seriously holding her hand while I can only watch from the shadows?! It's hurts. It hurts, it hurts, it hurts! Why can't you love me? Look only at me, Yui."

Justice whipped around, her blade instantly in her hands. Symphony was frozen to the spot, fear permeating her body.

"What the... Rook? Why do you know... shit! Sym, he's the stalker! The Bug, I think it got into his head IRL. We need to go, I can't fight-"

Symphony had a wild look in her eyes. She dashed towards Rook, her gun already firing into his body. Multiple wound began to appear, but they didn't affect him as he reached for Symphony. In an instant, Justice swung her blade into his hand. He quickly retaliated, grabbing and snapping the blade. This distraction was enough for Symphony to close in. She placed her gun to his head, a third color appearing against his skull as she fired a portal against his body.

"The Open Door."
