1 Prologue: A Monster falls, but a king is born.

At the end of the day, all blood has the same wetness...

These were the last words on the mind of this Mafia boss as his eyes slowly shut close, never to open in this world again.

To say he did not regret it would be a lie.

He had done it. He had finally done it.

At the young age of thirty, he conquered the underworld of all countries under the sun, becoming the first full underworld king. Money had become just another paper to him, and power another instrument to get what he wanted. However, like most rich and powerful men, he had rich men's problems.

He did not know what to use his wealth for and had dived into the collection of artifacts. One such artifact was a bloody eye ring called Osiris eye. Legend had it that this was the guiding rule on becoming a king.

One day, as he was lost in the admiration of this ring, his mind touched upon enlightenment of sorts: It is lonely at the top.

He discovered he had become bored, his climbing to the top was tainted and he decided to end the bloodshed.

In his new reform, he even decided to pardon those he would have normally killed.

Taking life, became inadequate for him and he wanted more, but even he did not know what more he wanted. A part of him hated how he had climbed to the top, and seeing the kind of life he had lived, made him depressed.

In other words, he discovered that the peak he had done despicable things to reach was nothing but loneliness and boredom.

He now understood why history had stories of many gods coming down to play with mortals. Those heavenly beings must have had a strong mixture of what he was feeling now.

Other wealthy people invited him to private islands to play sick perverted games, but the enlightenment he achieved plagued his interest more.

Soon, he stopped impacting fear, and even his followers, ever sharp to his emotions, moods, and feelings, sensed this shift.

They knew that their master no longer desired power and this sowed the seed of rebellion in ambitious hearts.

Soon enough, one amongst them came up with the idea of stabbing the Mafia boss in the back.

Of course, this was never a new thing in Cartels but the Mafia boss had become too relaxed on the throne, and then it struck sooner than he expected.

Guns blazed and blood formed rivers. An ambush of hundreds of men surrounded him.

Like any other person in such a situation, he fought hard for his life, and he fought well. His guns spat out the venom of bullets and each bullet that left the muzzle represented the fall of life.

But his enemies had planned well and hard. He was soon loaded with bullets and when he turned to look, he was surprised to see that it was from the people he had spared. His kindness had been paid with the unkind smile of his enemies.

Dropping in a pool of his own blood mixed with the blood of hundreds of both loyal followers and enemies, he couldn't help but stare once more into the eye of Osiris.

At this moment, he achieved yet another form of enlightenment.

"A King ends in the manner he is built."

And as the light slowly exited his eyes, he instantly swore that if he had another opportunity, he would do it differently.

He would be climb wiser and better.

Unknown to him, the ruby eye of Osiris glowed slightly in its deep crimson, absorbing the river of blood that flowed beneath it.

When next he found his sight, he was standing in the void before a huge pyramid the size of a huge mountain so high he could not see the tip. With all his height and a hunk of a man, he looked like nothing but an insignificant ant before this Pyramid.

And then a voice popped up in his head, a strange other world whisper. Clearly, it spoke in a foreign language, but for some reason, he could very well understand it. Like it was talking directly to his soul and not his ears.

{Welcome To The King Pyramid}

"What important attribute must a king have?"

A. Fear

B. Respect

C. loyalty

D. Love

>>You have only one try. Get the right answer and you may enter the Pyramid of Kings. Get the wrong answer and your soul will be shredded to dust<<

He thought hard at the question, every time he wanted to stretch his hand to pick an answer, he would drop back his hand. After thinking for hours on end. Going as far as to remember how his life had been and the decisions he made, he sighed loudly as he came to a conclusion that he had to admit even surprised him.

Looking up at the Pyramid, he answered, "None! None of these things."

The moment he said that he could feel a subtle wind start to blow and he noticed that his body had started to crack like little pieces of wet paper.

"Wait! Wait!! you didn't let me finish! You didn't let me finish!!"

The subtle wind suddenly slowed to a stop. However, his body was only left with a torso.

"It's a trick question. None of them are the most important because all of them are necessary for their own right." he sighed loudly.

"A King should be feared by his enemies. He should be respected by his allies, he should have the loyalty of his subordinates and lastly, he should be loved by his people. Not one of them can exist without the other, and that was the mistake I made in my life. I neglected these fundamentals."

He bowed his head in shame, however, to his surprise, parts of his body that had disappeared appeared once again and a small golden door appeared at the base of the Pyramid.

Then he felt a suction force from the Pyramid and he was sucked through the doors. The very first thing he noticed when he got inside was that the walls of the pyramid were made entirely of glistering gold. The golden walls were decorated in a foreign language, yet for some reason he didn't know, he could perfectly understand this language.

These were not just the usual writings on the wall. These were names of great men and women that had come and passed through these doors long before him. On the walls were names and titles like: Alexander the Great, King Solomon the Wise, Empress Wu Zetian the Untouchable, Mansa Musa the Generous, Genghis Khan the Unifier, Suleiman the Magnificent, and Catherine the Great.

There were many such iconic names carved on the golden walls.

As a person that enjoyed owning a collection of ancient artifacts, he was not new to such incredible individuals. Many names he recognized, and even others he did not. This was a long hallway with very high ceilings that he could not see. However as he continued to walk forward, he was surprised to see a small house.

In the magnificence of such a place, this small house was definitely standing out. In fact, it was so out of place that calling it a house was even too much of an exaggeration. Its roof was made out of straws, its wall was mud and it had a wooden door that had the inscription: PAUPER on it.

The moment he got close enough, the door opened prompting him to go inside. Yet again to his surprise, this small hut as he would like to think of it was as spacious as the hall outside.

Only this time around, it was made entirely of water. He did not know why, but he knew that he was drawn to the water and the moment he took a foot into it, it pulled him in.

To his surprise, the water burnt his skin like lava would a piece of paper. He felt like he was being crushed and molded again and again, and just when he thought he would pass out from the pain, he suddenly heard a feminine robotic voice.

Utada walked into the room. His Concubine had just birthed him a child. He had received a prophecy from a seer that this child was going to carry the purest bloodline in the history of the Iga ninja clan.

He had been waiting for months for this day.

However, the moment the child was born, the child's mother was rushed out of the room. Even the Midwife and the servants hurried out of the room.

In the words of the Midwife, "something is definitely wrong with that child."

Utada walked into the room, but to his disappointment, he could not find what was wrong with the child. He lifted the child up. Apart from the white and extremely pale skin, he did not understand what was wrong.

Just then, he heard a commotion outside the birth room. It was his mother.

For personal reasons, he had forbidden her from meeting this child. He dropped the child in disappointment and went outside to settle the commotion.

However, the moment he left the room, an assassin materialized from the wall like a shadow. Bringing out his blade to slit the child's throat. He made his way to the child. He raised the knife, but before he could do the deed, the child's eyes suddenly changed color from ocean blue to deep crimson.

Utada was talking with his mother outside when he heard a loud DUD sound from the birth room.

Utada was the chief of an assassin clan, a forbidden feeling instantly arose in his heart and he rushed back into the birth room.

The first thing that washed over him was the very intense aura of death and blood. It was so intense that he could practically see the dark red hue fill the room.

On the floor was the Assassin bleeding from his eyes and mouth. The assassin was very dead.

Utada walked toward the child. Now, he could see it clearly. The child's eyes were a beautiful glowing crimson. "Devil's eyes!" he whispered "And it is so pure too."

A smile stained the lips and then it bloomed into incredible laughter.

"Yes! This is it! This is the one to inherit my Iga ninja clan."

He picked the baby, with more love in his eyes, "Boy! You smell of blood and death, And I like it," he swayed the now crying child gently, "I'll call you Ohta. You are untainted, but still, carry the eyes of the Blood god."
