1 Entrusted
One evening in a city, a husband and wife is having a dinner. "Gus, will you really love me forever even if i can't give you a daughter or a son?" the wife suddenly said sadly. "Ellie, What are you talking about? I married you because i love you" Gus said in a lovingly manner. Then suddenly they heard a baby's cry from their door. They opened the door and saw a baby inside the basket in front of their house.
They brought the basket and the baby inside their house. But as Gus picks up the baby, he saw a letter on top of the baby. "Can I entrust my son to you two? I know that i don't know you two but im sure you two are good people, and when the time comes when he is 12. Please give him the necklace that is underneath him. That's all and I will repay you when the time comes."
As they got inside their house. Ellie cried as she said while smiling, "Gus we have a child now", "His name will be Asher, Asher Ingram"
12 Years Later
In a their house Gus went to Asher's room to have a conversation with him. "Asher, as you are now 12 years old I want to give you something". Then Gus gave a necklace to Asher. The necklace is like a soldier's dog tag but instead of the information about the soldier, unknown symbols are etched into the pendant of the necklace. Asher recieved it happily as this gift came from his father.
As the first day of Middle School is the day of the Awakening Ceremony of their Warsoul, many of the student's parents came with them so Gus and Ellie went with Asher to school. Warsoul resides in each and every person in this world. Warsouls are Mechas that grows with its owner.
On their way to school they met his best friend Dave, who will attend the awakening ceremony with his parents too. Dave is a fat, cheerful, loud, and happy-go-lucky guy who always hang out with Asher. Although their personalities are polar opposites as Asher is quiet, mature, and always serious type of guy, it's like a work of miracle that they clicked with each other right after they met for the first time.
Dave waved to Asher and ran to them. "Asher!, lets go together" Dave shouted to Asher while smiling. Asher smiled and said "Why are you always so energetic?", "Its because of my body bro, Why? Are you jealous?" Dave said while laughing loudly. "Anyways, Are you excited too Asher?" Dave added.
"Of course, who wouldn't be? We will awaken our Warsouls and pilot it soon." Asher answered while daydreaming about him piloting his very own Warsoul.
After arriving at the school, they went to the Sacred Grounds where the Awakening Ceremony will begin. This Grounds is where the students do the awakening ceremony where there stood a black pillar at the center. This black pillar is the medium that awakens the warsoul within a person. The audience's seats are enough to accomodate the students' parents so they can watch their child's awakening. Asher and Dave went to sit at their chosen seats. A while later, once the students have arrived a voice loud enough can be heard throughout the arena "Welcome students, I know that all of you are excited to awaken your own Warsouls so I will not let you wait anymore. I, Chris Feng, Dean of Suncrest City Academy, shall commence the Ceremony!" then a huge Warsoul that is coated green, with black trims, and is over 16 meters in height came into view while floating in mid-air. "Whoa!, that Warsoul can fly!" shouted a student beside Dave and Asher. "I-I-Its the Wind Devil!, the Dean's Warsoul!" hurriedly shouted by someone knowledgeable. A Warsoul that is humanoid and can fly is considered to be rare as there are only few as such in the Empire.
"Silence! We will do it batch by batch. Each batch consists of 10 students. Understand?" the Dean said imposingly. Although the Dean's voice is not loud, it can still be heard loud and clear. "Yes Dean!" all the students including Asher and Dave answeres loudly in unison.

Among the ten names that are called, seven of them belonged to the Seven Major Families in the Suncrest City. "Looks like the children of the Seven Major Families are the priorities again and be the first to complete their awakening" murmured by a student."Shhh be quiet, you might invoke their anger if they heard you say it" someone said quietly to the student.
While the ceremony is ongoing, Asher and Dave is having a conversation about what their own Warsoul will look like. "Hey Asher, what do you want your own Warsoul to look like and what classification you want it to be?"
Dave asked Asher quietly, "I don't have any preference on what it will look like and will take it whatever form it will take" Asher answered.
Dave said jokingly "Tsk, You really are always a boring person. That's why girls don't come near you even when you are that handsome" Asher blushed as red as a tomato as he was embarassed "Stop it, You fatty" Asher said clearly annoyed by his friend. "Hey, hey, its not fat bro, its being manly." Dave said proudly.
While they were having conversation the result of the first batch came out on the holographic screen

After 2 batches, Asher and Dave are finally called and as fate may have a part in it, they are called on the same batch

Asher, Dave and eight other students went in front of the black pillar. They went to their own spots as they meditate to feel the slumbering Warsoul within them and awaken them. What Asher didn't know was that the pendant necklace that his father, Gus, has given him shined briefly underneath his shirt.
Asher felt the power from the black pillar as it awakens his Warsoul. After the power awakened his Warsoul, his Warsoul then absorbed the power. After Asher awakened his Warsoul, a complete knowledge then appeared in his brain.

And after he recieved that information to his head, it then showed how his Warsoul looks like. There are two designs that appeared in his head, a Beast Type and a Humanoid Type."Huh? Why is there two designs of my Warsoul?" His Warsoul's Humanoid Form is coated deep black partnering with streaks of violet and white, it has dragon-like horns on its head, a pair of wings that can be hidden. His Warsoul's Beast Form is a Lion with dragon-like horn and wings, its body is of the color of black hole with streaks of violet just like its Humanoid Form. "Let's see, maybe it is what it meant by indicating "Hybrid" on my Warsoul type? I'll have to test it later." Asher thought.
After he opened his eyes he looked at Dave and saw his concerned face. "Why is Dave looking at me like that?" he wondered and looked at the hologram screen above and suddenly his face froze as he saw that his Warsoul's information differed from the information he obtained in his head.

Asher then smiled as he thought that this misinformation is advantageous to him.
While all this was happening no one saw that the Dean smiled too as he looked at Asher's Warsoul information at the hologram screen.
After they got down from the platform in front of the black pillar, Dave ran to Asher and consoled him "Hey bro, don't worry about it. I will protect you at the academy" Dave said jokingly but at the same time his tone is filled with concern for his friend. Asher didn't get angry at the teasing if his best friend and said while laughing loudly "Aiyoo Dave, I think that you should say that I will be the one protecting you" After saying that, Asher went back to his seat.
Dave got dumbfounded and thought "What has happened to the head of this friend of mine?" as he was shocked seeing his best friend act like that as he never seen him like that. But Dave still hurriedly went after Asher and went to his seat beside Asher.
