||Chapter One -||-A Warrior's Day||

Cerulean'paw blinked open her eyes, yawning. Today, TundraClan seemed as bright as ever, the morning sun glistening against the snow as Cerulean'paw walked out her creamy yellow pelt puffing out against the chilly breeze. She turned around as the deputy walked towards her. Cerulean'paw looked around to look at the dep. His dark black fur was slick over his body, his legs half white and looking at Cerulean'paw with dark blue eyes.

Cerulean'paw almost purred as Shadow'reaper smiled.

"How are you this morning...?" Cerulean'paw asked the deputy.

"Amazing."

Cerulean'paw sat down, her golden tail wrapping around her pretty delicate paws. Her whiskers twitched as the wind blew again.

Shadow'reaper sat down beside Cerulean'paw his white tail tip flicking from side to side.

"Today is your warrior ceremony right?"

Her warrior ceremony!

Cerulean'paw had almost forgotten, she instantly got up to her paws, tingling all over. She could see Shadow'reaper's eyes glistening in amusement. Her heart was thumping in her ribcage. -This was the day!-

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the high boulder for a clan meeting!!"

The Leader yowled. Shadow'reaper stood up and walked towards the Leader, then, he sat down on the ledge below the boulder a bit above from the other cats. Cerulean'paw could see all the other cats approaching, some looking as if they just woke up. Their ears were pricked as they came up and sat down looking at the leader. Cerulean'paw's heart almost burst out of her ribcage, she padded up quickly and sat down looking at the leader.

"Cerulean'paw. Come up."

Cerulean'paw smiled and walked up.

"I, Void'star leader of TundraClan call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. For she has trained hard to understand the way of your noble code. And I commend her as a warrior in return."

The white tom yowled, his spotted grey tail tip flicking in the wind. His one amber and one dark blue eyes looked down at Cerulean'paw.

"Do you promise to uphold the warrior code. Even at the cost of your life?"

Cerulean'paw's fur bushed up as she opened her mouth.

"I do."

Void'star looked back up at the clan.

"Then by the powers of StarClan. Cerulean'paw, I give you your warrior name. From now on, you will be known as Cerulean'feather. Your clan honors your bravery and intelligence and we welcome you as a full warrior of TundraClan."

"Cerulean'feather! Cerulean'feather!"

Cerulean'feather sighed as she sat down and listened as her clanmates cheered out her name. She felt so accomplished, so, proud. -Mmmm yes. This is what it feels to be a warrior...- Cerulean'feather smiled as Void'star dismissed the meeting walking towards the camp entrance. She stopped as Shadow'reaper came up to her.

"Congrats!" He said smiling.

Cerulean'feather's ears became hot.

"Thank you!" She managed to say.

Cerulean'feather was out of camp, breathing in the fresh air of winter. Her fur spiked up from small snow falling from the sky, as her paws crunched as it stepped in the snow. Cerulean'feather sniffed the air, looking for any prey. She stiffened as a scent drifted up to her nose. A hare. She grinned and slowly padded towards the smell, careful to not step on anything. She could see it, the white pelt almost camouflaged against the snow, nibbling on some seeds fallen from a tree.

Cerulean'feather started the hunt.

She crouched her belly brushing against the cold snow, and her tail leveled against the ground. Paw by paw, she stepped forwards, breathing as silently as possible, soon, she was about a few tail lengths from the hare, she could hear its little tiny rapid breaths. She licked her chops and leaped.

The hare sensed her right before her claws met its throat, it flashed away like lightning and Cerulean'feather gave chase. The wind was rushing past her face whipping her pelt, her paws were burning as she dashed across the snow, lightning-fast, she lunged forward once more her claws outstretched, her ears flattened and her jaws opened wide to reveal vicious white fangs. She caught the rabbit by the tail, and the hare ripped away, scarlet blood trailing from its hind. Cerulean'feather snarled and dashed towards the hare again. It took a sharp turn, and Cerulean'feather followed with no trouble, her paws were skimming across the ground barely touching it, she leaped forward once more this time the hare was smashed underneath Cerulean'feather's paws. Cerulean'feather opened her jaws and bit down on the hare's throat, and with a 'crack' the hare fell limp.

Cerulean'feather took it quickly back to camp.

"Shadow'reaper do you want to share this with me..?"

She called out to the deputy. Shadow'reaper nodded his black ears flicking as he saw the hare.

"Wonderful catch."

Cerulean'feather smiled looking at her paws.

"Thanks."
