Chapter 15: Chaos and Reunion

"Impossible!" Ning stopped playing her Pipa and yelled.

Wei Yue recovered from his trance after Ning was distracted.

"Let the king go Ning and leave the kingdom or else..." Luo Na said wielding her golden daggers that was showered in moonlight.

"Or else what!? This kingdom took everything away from me and now, it's time that I take everything this kingdom ever had!" Ning clenched her hand and positioned the Pipa. "No one leaves here alive!" She then had started playing the Pipa more rapidly. This time, the Pipa's tune caused more effect than ever. Everything in the throne room was levitating and by that, including General Hua, Zhang, Li and Wei Yue.

"Zhao, Elaa... Can you lend me your strength?" Luo Na was out of breath avoiding Ning's attacks mid air.

"Of course sister." Zhao and Elaa replied making the daggers gleam in blue and purple hue.

The seemingly ordinary daggers transformed into dual fans.

"It'd be easy to wield us in this form sister. Go defeat the witch!"

Luo Na nodded and twisted the fans in her hand and flew fast across the strong gust of wind that Ning has been throwing across the room.

"Enough with this!" With a strong force of Luo Na's fans, she swung the fan and one of the strings of the Pipa snapped.

Ning stopped playing and all of the levitating things in the room returned to normal.

"You disappoint me!" Ning threw the Pipa aside and removed the red flower hairpin from her hair.

"This time, I will get serious so you all should take me seriously!" Ning transformed into her original form. Her black hair turned to white and the fair complexity of her skin turned to pale white. The nails on her hands turned long and dark and her eyes changed from yellow to glowing red.

Li An charged Ning with her sword but Ning just held it using her claws and she sent Li An hitting the walls.

"Why you!" Driven by anger, Zhang charged in and pierced Ning's lower abdomen with his sword.

"Boy... You're just a puny insect to me." Ning laughed as she pulled out the sword from her body. No blood was spilt from it and it seems like Zhang just impaled nothing.

She grabbed Zhang by his throat and kicked him away.

"By the power of the Jade Phoenix, I-" Wei Yue's chant cut off short.

"Oh no you don't...Tsk tsk tsk if you use your power you will kill the king." Ning said as she shows Wei Yue the unconscious king in the seat of the throne.

"Allow me, your highness!"

General Hua charged in with his large blade and swung his sword to decapitate Ning but Ning just evaporated in air and laughed instead.

"Pathetic!" She grabbed General Hua's neck and raised him up in the air.

"Is this the man you are proud of Luo Na? Hahahaha. I thought you were smart!"

Luo Na angrily posed a move but Ning pointed her claws to General Hua.

"One step closer and he'll lie on the floor like a good cold corpse!" Ning said with an evil smile on her deranged face.

"Let him go!" Luo Na yelled but Ning did not listen.

"Now, you can have the privilege to see your loved one die in front of you, Luo Na!"

Ning's claws reached deep into General Hua's chest and pulled out his beating heart.

"NO!"

Luo Na and everyone yelled.

Luo Na stepped down on the ground as she held General Hua in her arms.

"Luo Na... I- I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough." General Hua said caressing Luo Na's face. His hands are getting cold.

"No, Xian... You are... You are indeed strong... I should be the one who'll say sorry." Luo Na's tears came falling down her eyes.

"Why is that my love?" General Hua held her hand.

"You said you loved me but you never felt what I truly feel... I love you... I-" Luo Na's words fell short. General Hua laid breathless on her arms.

"AAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHH!" Luo Na shouted and then bowed her head on the floor.

"Does it hurt? It really does hurt isn't it?!" Ning flew beside the couple.

Luo Na didn't spoke a thing.

"All of you, watch as I finish these lover's lives!"

As Ning was about to strike Luo Na with her claws, a piece of metal pierced her hand making her flinch.

"Who dare throw that dagger at me?" She removed the dagger from her hand but more daggers pierced her body.

Luo Na stood up bringing General Hua's body into Wei Yue and the others.

"Wei Yue, I will finish this once and for all." Luo Na said with her head still low.

"Luo Na..." Wei Yue didn't stop her. Luo Na's aura changed from being calm into ravenous and vengeful. Her two fans transformed into a staff with ravaging red phoenix coiling across it's handle.

Luo Na's appearance also changed. Her embroidered robe changed into a golden satin with red silk embroidered with a phoenix in it's back.

"WHO ARE YOU!?" Ning yelled in fury and confusion.

"I am Jiu Tian XuanMu... You have committed a serious murder and you will receive the wrath of the heavens."

She raised her golden spear and a fiery phoenix appeared. She stirred a cloud from her hand and used it as a rein for the humongous bird.

"The Goddess of War and Love came..." Wei Yue stared in awe at Luo Na's transformation. Of all women in Jianghu, why Luo Na?

"Luo Na! Wake up! You're..." Elaa stopped speaking and transformed back in human form.

"Sister Luo Na..." Zhao also reverted back into a human and then they both knelt in front of the golden-showered woman.

She wasn't Luo Na anymore. She's the Goddess of War and Love... Jiu Tian XuanMu!

"Forgive our intrusion, Goddess Jiu. We..." Zhao held her reason when the Goddess Jiu raised her right hand and nodded.

"I understand. I have sensed a rather overwhelming power here so I came to investigate, and that... I came here to bound it once again." Jiu looked at Ning and took off her jade bracelet and threw it at her. The bracelet became a loop and it bounded Ning like a pair of snakes around her body.

"What power do you talk of your majesty?" Wei Yue humbly presented himself and confirmed if he was the threat himself. But...

"It wasn't yours, my dear dear Jade Phoenix... It was this hers. This body isn't completely mortal. She has an overwhelming power that could destroy anything that she wanted but I kept it bounded within her, and now... It broke free." Jiu explained and Wei Yue completely understood her. He focused his attention towards the cold and dead body of General Hua.

"Please. Could you do something for them?" Wei Yue asked Jiu but she just shook her head.

"I can't do anything but she can..."

Jiu then moved out from Luo Na's body and Luo Na feigned on the floor. Zhao and Elaa rushed up to her and kept her company.

After a while, Luo Na awakened and when she saw General Hua's corpse, she burst into tears and ran up to his lifeless body.

"So it wasn't a dream." Luo Na said as she embraced General Hua's body.

"Yes it isn't my child." Jiu hovered in the air and appeared in front of her.

"Mom?" Luo Na recognized her and by that, she shed tears in her eyes. All others were shocked especially Wei Yue...

"I am sorry child. I had to keep everything from you and your brother. It was I who caused the great war. If I listened to the Great Shan Long, then I would've-"

"Shhhh." Luo Na hugged her mother. "If loving father was a mistake, then it wasn't a mistake at all... You made us and for that, we are thankful Mom."

The Goddess shed her tears. The falling tears became little jade droplets on the floor. Indeed, the Goddess of Love and War came crying upon the reunion of her child.

"Now child, make your first miracle... Bring the dead back to life." Jiu smiled at her but Luo Na was a little bit confused.

"Bring the dead back to life? I couldn't possibly do that."

Luo Na shook her head but Jiu insisted that she take her powers seriously.

"Do you love him?" Jiu asked Luo Na.

"More than before."

As Luo Na answered, a jade crystal formed in her right hand. The jade crystal with seven soaring dragons inside it molded itself into a human heart shaped crystal.

"All that fellow is missing, was a heart. And seven soaring dragons are fit to him. Go child..."

Jiu instructed Luo Na to put the heart on his chest.

When she placed it in, the crystal disappeared and the wound in General Hua's chest healed. After a short while, General Hua opened his eyes and started slashing all around with his sword but Luo Na stopped him with the aid of her daggers.

"My love WAKE UP!"

Luo Na dropped one of her daggers and slapped General Hua's cheek.

"Wh-What happened?"

General Hua snapped back to his senses.

Knowing that he was already well, Luo Na embraced him joyously.

"Ah it's too early for celebration, I think you all should deal with that woman over there..." Jiu pointed at Ning that was still bounded by the Jade snakes before she disappeared riding her phoenix.

All of them huddled together and surrounded Ning.

"What are you going to do to me?" Ning asked.

"You're done for." Zhang removed a vial of clarity from his purse and splashed it to the witch's face and she then was set on fire and later melted into a black tar.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING ZHANG!? We're supposed to give that to your father for him to drink!" Li An said hitting Zhang on his head.

"Hohoho. It's so happy that a girl can hit Zhang on his head!"

King Fu laughed rowdy like he used to.

"Father!" Zhang shouted happily and gave a warm hug to his father. For many months, the kingdom of Dragon Blade has been manipulated by the evil Witch but now, it has been free. Thanks to all of our heroes.
