Magical consciousness

"Do you want to... Meet Ahilon" Emerald proposed to me in a doubtful tone, as if she was thinking whether it would be beneficial to say that or not.

I was obviously surprised by such a proposal, although I was also happy.... After all, I was recently thinking about whether I should leave and here is the solution.... But there are also many things I must do before I leave.

"Teacher, first I would like to learn how to create my magical consciousness and besides using my skills well, I can use the knowledge from outside but I am almost sure that here it will be much better to create my magical consciousness" I explained my reasoning, I didn't reject her, I simply have some conditions to fulfill before I leave.

Her eyes seemed to sparkle in compression, then she nodded her head.

"Speaking of which, creating magical awareness is relatively easy now that you are more sensitive to mana, in fact, I think you can do it right now" Emerald explained looking at me, at this point I had already left the Sanctuary of Love, with all the pain in my heart, it's time to move on to a new stage in my life.

"If so, then... How do I believe it?" I asked Emerald curious, turning me to look at her.

Her attire was simple and plain, black pants, white nightgown that covered her shoulders and besides, she didn't wear shoes.

She thought for a moment with her index finger on the edge of her chin, she lasted a few seconds in that state, honestly at this moment I was wondering if she knew how to create such a thing or not.... But seeing as she was certainly a Mage or Witch yesterday, she should know.... Right?

"Well, this forest has a lot of mana in the air, doesn't it?" I wondered with a soft smile on her face.

"Yes, I noticed it has a large amount of Mana, almost the same as in my Test" I replied, specifically referring to the center of the island where the Shadow and The King were located. I didn't know exactly about the world nor did I know what a large amount of mana or small was, but if it's almost at the level of a Primordial Domain, it should be quite a lot.

"Yes, it is because this forest was created millions of years ago by an Anti-God, the Anti-God of Darkness and Misfortune, Tenebres" The redhead declared with great pride.

'Tenebres... AntiGods?' I wondered to myself, I had never heard of that before, AntiGods? Are they rivals of the Gods? Or are they false Gods? Obviously I had several questions, my mind also didn't click like before, it means.... Did my former SELF not know about the AntiGods? Or is there something specifically blocking that information?

Emerald seemed to notice the question marks above my head, so with a soft smile she continued her explanation.

"I can't tell you about the Anti-Gods now, but it is thanks to the Forest being their creation that there is a high amount of mana here and as you might guess, the laws here are very different from the real world."

My teacher's explanation gave me compression, it didn't answer any of my important questions, but at least it gave me some important information, like the laws of this place are different from the outside world.

"Teacher, one question... Are the Anti-Gods more powerful than the Gods?" Even though she said she wasn't going to tell me more about the so-called Anti, I was still very curious about this.

She seemed to sense my curiosity, so with a bit of reluctance, she told a bit more; "Anti-Gods are of equal or even more powerful than Gods, you could say it is the counterpart of a God, basically being their counter, so yes I could say that Anti-Gods are more powerful" She commented, this made a great revelation to my perception of the world.

Previously I thought that the highest was obviously the Primordials and secondly the Gods, but apparently now my idea was wrong, the Antigods are more powerful or relatively in a fight against the Gods, they are going to win.

If it was interest before, now I was really interested in that new species of deities, I wanted to learn a lot from them, but that was impossible.... At least for now.

"Finishing that topic, mana is very important to create your magical consciousness, that's why it's very important for me to clarify that the mana in this place is much denser and of higher quantity than in most places in Ahilon" I continued; "Just gather the maximum amount of mana possible in your head, specifically your brain, then feel your soul and try to merge mana and soul at the same time in your brain" Emerald explained with serious and concentrated expression, transmitting me how important this moment was.

This made me ask myself something very important that she always overlooked.

"What if I failed to create my magical awareness or something goes wrong?" I asked cautiously, before I went straight to the Test without directly knowing the risks if I fail, although it was possibly death, I at least wanted to confirm the consequences.

My question made Emerald smile, a smile of relief and pride... why? Why, I have no idea, perhaps she herself was thinking that I was too reckless and impulsive in performing certain tasks without knowing the consequences.

"If you fail you will possibly not be able to perform the creation of another magical consciousness again, I say possibly as there are other methods of doing it again, but if you don't get these methods, you will either be crippled from never being able to create a spell or you will be left in a soul coma that never heals" She added with a smile on her face.... Saying that she'll possibly be in a coma forever and.... She's still all smiles? Damn Bit...

'Calm down, calm down, maybe I have a mind-reading item and I just didn't know about it' I calmed down inwardly, with the outside always wearing an indifferent expression.

"Tell me, besides gaining the ability to cast spells, what other benefits does magical awareness give?" Logically if the risk is so high as to fall into a coma eternally, there must be more benefits, right?

Emerald held out her hand and then, with her hands in front of my face, held up three fingers.

"The first benefit is to have an increase of your mana sensitivity" She lowered one finger.

"Second benefit is that your spells will be more powerful and your element will also be enhanced" He lowered the second finger.

"And the third and last benefit is that you can improve your spells, no matter if the spell is first level, you can make it evolve and it can be infinitely stronger and even become.... A spell level"
