17 Cap

"Taskmaster, huh? I didn't think I'd be meeting a celebrity today." Zeta spoke as he ducked underneath the swing of the sword.

"I'm no celebrity. I'm the one that hunts the celebrities." Taskmaster spoke.

The sword continually came swinging towards Zeta's skull and torso. It was as if a red dot sight had been attached to him the way the sword followed.

"I have photographic reflexes. The more I fight you, the more I learn. The more I learn, the faster I kick your ass." He spoke.

"I can't say I've ever had to fight a guy with a sword. This'll be fun." Zeta responded.

It was absolutely vital that he never got hit by the big stick that Taskmaster loved to swing around so much. Zeta's current body is the peak of a human's, not superhuman. He can't simply shrug off an attack from a veteran fighter like that.

However, closing distance was also important.

Taskmaster swung his sword horizontally, Zeta crouched down and lunged towards his legs. It wouldn't be a good idea to grapple when he has a sword, so he followed up with a kick to the side of his knee.

Of course, he was too much of a bastard to fall from an attack like that. Especially when it was against armor.

Taskmaster kicked at Zeta and followed up with a vertical strike with the sword. Zeta took the kick in order to dodge the blade. With the sword now at the ground, Zeta stood from his crouching position and uppercut Taskmaster. Unfortunately, he saw it coming from a mile away.

"I thought you were strong. It seems I was mistaken. I can't learn from this." Taskmaster insulted.

"Well, Close Quarters Combat has never been my strong suit." Zeta replied. Which was true. His previous life, he was good with the one decisive strike that claims a life and the Death Korps of Kreig training most revolved around weapons rather than CQC.

'I wouldn't be able to win against Natasha in CQC either.' Zeta was confronted by his flaws and recognized them. He previously thought that in equal circumstances, he could beat Natasha. He'd have to be careful not to get into a fist fight with her.

"Then use a weapon. You'll die if you don't." Taskmaster rushed Zeta. Hearing those words, Zeta laughed and summoned the almighty shovel.

Seeing this, Taskmaster stopped his charge and back-stepped. It was enough to save his head. The armor that covered his throat was scraped and dented.

"I didn't think you'd react fast enough." Zeta smiled. Taskmaster knew he was outmatched.

"You'll see me again, soon." He said as he escaped.

The attack that threatened Taskmaster's life was a simple one. A simple horizontal strike using the shovel. It combined the experience of two lifetimes worth of killing using weapons. Two experts using one shovel.

That was the reason Taskmaster couldn't even see it attack, only feel it.

"I'll look forward to our next fight." Zeta spoke to himself.

He then made his way back over to Felicia's apartment. Along the way, he saw a car dealership. He also saw an ATM.

"Hello, I'd like to purchase a decent vehicle." Zeta spoke to the employee.

"Of course, are there any mandatory features?" The dealer asked.

"Hmm... let's have a look at the electric cars first." Zeta spoke.

After a couple of hours of the dealer going from vehicle to vehicle, telling Zeta about how great they are and how he absolutely can't pass this one up.

They soon stopped at a relatively basic looking electric car. The only feature that stood out to Zeta was that it was average.

"I'll take it." Zeta spoke. Taking the most average of the best was great for him. He wanted luxury, not Scrooge McDuck levels of luxury.

"Of course, sir. This one is $35,000. May I have your license?" The dealer asked.

"Listen, tips are a wonderful thing. Depending on how much you ignore the customer's faults, you can get paid a year's salary in a day." Zeta spoke and pulled out $70,000. "Half for the car, and half for you. Sign the papers."

Seeing the mass amount of money, the salesman wasn't going to say no. The job paid well, but not enough for him not to get bribed.

Sure enough, Zeta was driving out of there in an electric car he didn't know how to use. He'd never used one before so most of the buttons were foreign to him.

Once outside of Felicia's apartment, he pulled out his phone and texted her.

Soon enough, a hottie with platinum hair walked out of the apartment complex and found Zeta waving at her from a cool-looking car.

"How did you get this when you don't have a license?" She asked as she entered in the passenger's seat.

"Money." He simply responded.

"You bribed them?" Felicia asked.

"Money can get you anything in New York." Zeta responded.

"That's true." She nodded.

"Shall we have a romantic date in my new car?" He smiled.

"Of course. As long as I'm not paying." She giggled.

The two of them conversed with each other during the car ride. Bantering and flirting all the way. Zeta took them out of the city, they happened upon a hill that overlooked the city there were in not too long ago.

"The city looks much better from the outside." Felicia commented.

"I agree. You can't even hear the sirens or gunshots from here." Zeta replied.

New York was garbage, both of them knew it. Crime rates were probably the highest in the world and people couldn't care less about each other.

Zeta sat on the hood of the car and pulled Felicia to sit on his lap. She didn't resist.

Both of them sat in silence as they looked towards the city. Felicia remembered a variety of memories. Some good, mostly bad. And soon, it returned to the memory she hated the most.

She looked towards the man who's lap she was sitting in. His eyes didn't brake contact with hers.

Felicia leaned forward and their lips connected.

Zeta simply grabbed her waist and pulled her closer.

Neither of them was in a rush to stop the kiss. Therefore, both of them stayed like that for 15mins.

Even after Zeta's dick stood to the occasion, even after Felicia positioned herself to sit on his erect dick. Even after Felicia doubted her feelings. The two of them continued to kiss.

However, it didn't last forever. Felicia disconnected it.

"Don't make me regret dating you." She spoke as she pressed her body against his.

"I'll make you regret not giving yourself to me when I gave you the Laspistol." He smiled.

She simply rested her head on his chest for a bit.

"Let's go." She got in the passenger's seat.

The drive back was quiet. Mostly because Zeta couldn't calm the erection that happily showed itself to Felicia.

"Do you normally just show it off like that?" She asked.

"Only to my women. I might scare somebody off otherwise." Zeta spoke with a smile. Felicia couldn't help but anticipate trying to fit that in.

They got back to the apartment complex and retired to Felicia's room.

Zeta wasn't ready to claim her and Felicia wasn't ready to spread her legs. So, they didn't have sex tonight.

However, that didn't stop them from stripping to their underwear and sharing body temperatures.

Felicia woke up in the morning, sharing a bed with the alien that she found in her house 2 weeks ago.

'I have no clue what I'm doing.' She sighed. She has been betrayed by everyone she's ever tried to date. Felicia had no clue what possessed her to give this relationship a shot. Maybe it's the butterfly in her stomach when their skin comes into contact or maybe it's how different Zeta is compared to everyone else.

It's no secret that if this relationship doesn't work out, Felicia will completely barricade her heart from people for the rest of her life.

As she was thinking this, enjoying lying next to Zeta, a figure appeared from the corner of the room. Felicia instantly got on guard and was about to wake Zeta up. A hand appeared over her mouth.

"Don't wake up master. He sleeps once every 3 days, he needs it." M'Shen whispered to Felicia. "So, you're his first wife?" She asked and released her hand from Felicia's mouth.

"First wife?" She questioned.

"Of course. You don't truly believe that you will be the only one, right? Master is a being that transcends what a mortal should be capable of. Not only does he deserve it, but we also need it. Our race is reduced to just us, master needs children to repopulate." M'Shen explained. The butterflies in Felicia's stomach turned to fire.

"So, he's been planning to take other women the whole time?" She asked through gritted teeth.

"You're angry." M'Shen commented.

"Of course, I am!" She raised her voice but was soon quieted down by M'Shen.

"Master has just trusted you with the future of our race. Do you not understand what that means?" M'Shen asked.

"Why doesn't he just use you then?" Felicia clenched her fist.

"He will, eventually." She responded.

"Then why does he need me?" Felicia was ready to kick Zeta in the balls as he slept.

"Because he loves you, no?" M'Shen spoke. The Imperium of Man didn't have much to do with love but she knew that basic concepts of it. She knew enough that Felicia felt it towards Zeta and that Zeta felt something towards her.

"..." Felicia didn't respond.

"Is he worth sharing?" M'Shen asked.

"...maybe."
