Chapter 04:Body tempering

The remaining copper moles with their eyes turned blood red rushed at Silver with all they had ,the copper moles being social creatures felt hurt with their companion being killed in front of them so they now treated Silver as a storm enemy where they hurt to kill him or they themselves had to die trying to avenge their companions. The copper moles are always born as a trip and their mother and her companions will raise them for a year until they can send for themselves and after that they will be left as a companion trio to experience their own hardships and live together.

"Come at me show me what you can do"

Silver shouted as he was also rushing towards the copper moles ,when they were two meters away from him Silver threw a dagger at them then he jumped up holding a branch of a tree then swung himself to the copper moles. When the dagger reached a copper mole it just bounced off and the copper moles continued their charge but as the copper mole which deflected the dagger Silver came from above and punched it which all his might which caused the copper mole to smash head first to the ground.

When Silver was about to escape to a safe distance the other copper mole had already clawed at his chest and he quickly tried to use his hands to block in front of his chest , when the claws connected claw marks appeared in his hand and blood sprayed from them but he had safely blocked his chest. If those claws had connected to his chest then he would either be dead or heavily injured because the claws of the copper moles are getting sharp. They use their claws to dig out for copper so their claws need to be sharp to dig out copper and this also makes them gain an advantage when hunting for mole snakes or fighting off predators.

Silver didn't dilly dally he made quick moves and jumped on a tree then sat on a branch and quickly Tor off pieces from his shirt and wrapped his hands then he looked down at the copper moles who were busy lashing the tree trying to cut it down so that they could get to Silver. The copper mole that Silver had punched to the ground had soon got up but it was a bit stunned and when it recovered it was when Silver jumped to the tree, if it had gotten up earlier his chances of survival would be too slim. The copper moles may not have an ability but they are born with incredible defense which makes them hard to kill for those of the same realm or two small realms above them, their only weakness is the center part of their head where their brain is located that part is easy to puncher with a dagger or any other sharp weapons.

[These things have high defense, I have to time my attacks so that I get one hit kills]

Silver's thoughts were moving fast trying to come out with a battle strategy. Looking down he saw that the tree won't last long and it will turn to night soon which will make the beast forest very dangerous. He positioned himself and when the tree was falling the copper moles had let their guard down he swiftly launched himself to a copper mole and kicked at it and it's companion was coming to it's defense ,Silver pulled out a dagger and threw it at the center of the other copper moles head ,the dagger quickly connected killing it and his kick also connected to the first copper mole which smashed it to the ground. Without wasting time he quickly pulled out the blade from the other copper moles head then he stabbed it companion to the center of the head before it could get up.

"Finally they are all dead"

Silver had his arms on his legs gasping for breath ,if he had used his void devour ability to devour the copper moles vitality while fighting the copper moles the fight would've ended fast but he couldn't use it on the copper moles because he needs their blood. The blood of the copper moles has a miraculous effect of strengthening and tempering the body if anyone who baths of it.

Silver quickly dragged the bodies of the copper moles to a cave he saw when coming to set a trap for them. Before he entered the cave he made sure that it was not habited by any dangerous creatures , he dragged the bodies of the copper moles to the end of the cave which was it's deepest part then he quickly made a basin which could fit his body by using mud rocks which were found on caves to smolder the basin so that no liquid gets absorbed by the ground.

"Without further ado"

Saying so Silver cut the bodies of the copper moles then he let their blood spill into the basin and after about ten minutes the basin was full which was enough for Silver to go in. Taking him s clothes off he then entered into the basin as soon he entered and lay down he began to feel as if ants were biting at ever inch and part of his. The pain was so painful that he wanted to scream but he just made muffled groans because he knew that as soon as he screamed the noise would attract beast which were hunting in the night. The blood of the copper moles had the effect of tempering the body of anyone under professionist and making it even stronger. It was not easy to hunt for the copper moles because they could only be lured out if their burrows by the scent of a mole snake and mole snakes were few in number and they had excellent camouflage ability which also made hard to find so copper moles were treasures to everyone under professionist.

The pain that Silver was feeling kept intensifying by ever minute and he could not release his cries to release the pressure the pain brought him ,after a whole hour the pain became less and less until he eventually fell asleep in the basin.
