The Clash(chapter 2)

After the war was declared by the Eastern king, Gbenga the king of Northern Lakwe became worried because he knew how powerful the Eastern king is, but he has no choice than to prepare for war for it will be a very big shame if he forfeits his own land .

Gbenga decided to take a very dreadful decision by recruiting new soldiers both young and old ,male and female for the war because he has few soldiers and Zoe was among the soldiers who were selected, unfortunately for Zoe she couldn't decline the offer for she has nobody to speak for her.

Zaza the elder brother to Zoe left the village for a greener pasture when the war was declared so he had no idea of what was going on .

Few weeks later, after preparing his soldiers for war Zika lead his army into the Northern land chanting war songs ,King Gbenga's army hearing the song became agitated and ran helter skelter trying to assemble their selves but before they could plan their attack it was already so late, the Eastern Army had already started killing and capturing their people ,the war was very brutal that no one was saved except few and the great king Gbenga of the Northern land who was taken as slaves.
