Chapter 9: Infested Flower

On top of one of the ruined low rise building looking over the park and airport. Luci briefs them of what Shiro found at the airport.
"¡Imposible! How are we going to get pass those — things?" Baby in disbelief.
Luci shrugged. "Well, if anyone has a better idea speak up now." Baby back off and turned her gaze away. Acki landed his sword on the ground getting everyone's' attention. "So, what exactly we need to do aside from killing everything at the airport?"
"Hmm... One, we need to check the condition of our ride; two, if by any luck it is what we expect it to be, we need to set it up; launch — in relative safely. Saying so, you already know the possible choices we have." Luci opened up a map she took from a convenience store.
"So it is either we kill everything there or we somehow we manage to run off with the helicopter." Menan shaking his head. Baby asks for the map and softly said. "So, where is the helicopter?"
"Here," Luci pointed, Baby fell silent, everyone waiting patiently for her decision.
"Rest up, I'll need to think it over. You guys already know your duties." Baby walk over the corner and gestured to her summon. "Ca'li, por pavor. Quiero... (Ca'li, I want...)"

Everyone panic as they saw Baby coming from the streets below all covered in bruises.
Acki jump off the building landing beside her weapon drawn out. Everyone else secured the area as Luci held her. "What happened Dear!?" Luci checking Baby for any serious injury.
"Let's get her inside," Acki ordered, they back away from the area and got back to camp.
They sat Baby up, Luci started taking care of her wounds. Acki kneeled down beside her and ask. "What happened, you disappeared this morning and where is Ca'li?" Baby smiled and opened up a window, they saw Ca'li working on the helicopter.
"The helicopter is not in mint condition but I can power it up using a philosophers' but we can't fly it out of there or run it outside as long as that Infested Flower is guarding the airspace." Baby showing them the map. Menan came by, "How did you..."
"Does not matter how there are still trucks scattered around the area containing jet fuel. The trucks are in bad condition but the container is still holding." Baby pointing on the marked areas. "All we need to do is somehow collect those then blow up the whole greenhouse then we ran off with the helicopter."
Everyone started on the map.
Acki speaking up breaking the stillness. "Well, I can carry those and throw or shove it to the Flower thingy." Menan put a hand on his shoulder. "No worries brother, I will protect you while you do the lifting."
"I'll create a barrier to protect the helicopter from the explosion, haven't used that spell in months nor have I modified it. Guess, now is a good time to do so." Luci turned around and sat by the corner; opened up a console then started working on the spell.
"Ca'li will fly the helicopter out, I already have her browsing through what is left of the manuals." Baby sat up straight. "Shiro, make sure nothing goes wrong. ¿Comprende?"

Baby cracking her whip tearing at the mutants blocking their way. "Render — Great Sword," Menan slash through the mob. "Get to Ca'li Baby, your not much without your summon."
"Pendejo!" Baby threw a rock at him then move away.
"Brother, you are a real ladies man..." Acki laughing while carrying the fuel container. "...and Bro, get that tree out of my way." Menan look at the mutated tree coming for them. "Aw man, here goes nothing... Render — Brenning," a bluish aura envelop him, Acki moved away. "Nice touch bro, but don't come close."
Menan rush through the airfield tearing through the infested mutants "Hey, Acki... the hell this skill hurts." He charges through aimed at the Infested Tree. "Render — Shield Charge,"
Acki watch as the tree burned down. Shiro on the side dicing every mutant that comes close to him. Acki gave him a thumbs up.
"Acki, three more then blow that thing up!" Baby running towards the hangar with Luci. An infested tree is blocking the way. "Move aside Dear... Mage Art — Grand Sword," A huge pink word made of Light Particles emanated on her wand as she slashes the tree; disintegrating anything it touches.
"The untouched parts are slowly regenerating, nothing we could do. Let us hurry to the hangar." Luci signaling Baby as they cross the airfield.
Menan kneeling on the ground covered in bruises. "Hang in there bro, last one then we are blowing that up." Acki raising his spirit. Menan stood up, started jumping, and doing heavy breathing. Shiro on front keeping the Flowers roots at bay.
"Sage Art — Shield Wall," Nar'vash generated layers of light barrier. "Mage Art — Pink Grand Arrow," Luci shot through the barrier giving fire support to Acki's group. Baby helps out Ca'li starting helicopters motor.

"Muy bien," Baby shouted as the rotors started spinning. "Luci, how are the boys?"
Luci fired disintegrating Infested Mutants on the runway. "Finish with the last — I think they are arguing on how to light it up." Baby astonish at what she just heard. "¿Qué? I mean what!"
