Chapter 2: Rota Island

Proving Grounds: Forgotten Planet; Forgotten City, Beach Front

The group decided to go to an island down south called Rota, find a boat rectify, then go north. They built a wooden raft and took the wagons' Mobile Workbench. They left Smirf and Mat on the beach for safety reasons then set off.

Ca'li drew the boat over the water as well as the boys paddle, took them two days to navigate the waters, made mistakes along the way but they finally found the island of Rota.

Luci putting on sunscreen then adjusting the beach umbrella. "Could you peasants row a little faster?" Menan dripping in sweat. "We should have made some kind of motorize propeller for this boat."

"Well, if you weren't so afraid to dive those wreckages we would have. So, stop complaining and keep rowing!" Baby smacking him at the back. "Ca'li, un poco a la izquierda ( a little to the left )."

They arrive at a ruined wharf, overrun by foliages. Menan rush towards land then lay on the ground. "Finally, we got here."

"Menan, get out of there!" Baby shouting from the shore. He immediately stood up and drew his sword. Coming out of the tree lines a rush of aberrations. Different from the mutants inside the Forgotten City, these are more like a chimera of human, animal, and — something else.

"Pink — Great Arrow," Luci fired off to give the group ample time to get on solid ground. Shiro appeared in a puff of smoke wearing a 'fundoshi' started separating the mutants from their body parts.

"Dios mio, what are those things?" Baby head off with Ca'li to secure the wharf. "Everybody secure the premises, we will retreat back to the boat and find another landing if we cant." Everybody obeyed Baby, with Mat incapacitated, she naturally took over as the Squad Death Parade's Captain.

Soon enough they secured the wharf and started to investigate.

"Don't go too far, find a boat or boats we can rectify." Ca'li opened up a warehouse. Light instantly penetrated, it was empty, just an empty space. Baby went inside. "This is weird..." A window opened up on her HUD showing the ceiling, startled at the sight on-screen she instantly rolled towards the exit. An enormous mutated lamprey like creature swoop down on her previous location destroying the floor then went back up the ceiling. "Madre..."

Hearing the noise the group rush towards Baby.

Luci arrive ahead of the group but saw Shiro was already there laughing ominously still wearing his 'fundoshi', she then asks straight away. "Dear, what happened?" Baby was a bit shock but regained her senses right away. "A worm-like creature hiding on ceiling... a really scary worm."

Luci produces a slow-moving ball of pink light then push it through. Suddenly the lamprey like creature crash to it from above. "Oh, I see your problem dear."

"Sage Art — Ballista," Nar'vash blew out the rooftop of the warehouse as well as everything on it, hundreds of small worms fell the floor as the whole burning warehouse collapse. Baby was agape and bewildered by what just transpired.

Luci laughs evilly throughout the destruction.

Baby had to ask. "Why?" Luci raised her head then said. "It was hideous... was there anything important inside?" Baby just shook her head.

"Hey, I found something!" Menan shouting from the rooftops. Everyone rush towards him, there they saw a fishing boat, that for some reason it is still intact.

"I think this is repairable, there is a lot of broken-down boats around we could salvage the parts we need." Menan walking around it. "Sí, that is correct... okay, I will work on restoring this. Acki, Menan; Shiro pushes this near the open water so we could easily launch it once I am finished." The boys did as they told and pulled the boat on an open side of the wharf. They secured the area then deployed the Mobile Workbench.

They regroup on Baby's orders. "Pendejos, yes, you two survey the area eliminate threats and find anything that could be of use to us. Shiro keep guard I will be busy with the boat." Then everyone else looked at Luci making Baby give another order. "Luci, watch my back."

Luci laughs evilly, jeering the boys.
