Chapter 14 - Confrontation

"Evan" Matthew called out.

He ran towards Evan who was about to reach the highway. He grabbed Evan's hand and hugged him tightly.

"What.... What the hell are you doing.? Are you out of your mind." He screamed. Matthews' whole body was shaking in fear.

"I don't know . I just don't want to be this helpless. I will rather die than being like this." Evan cried out.

Matthew patted his head.

"It's okay.. it's okay Eve. You don't have to worry. I will not allow him to take you away." He tried to calm Evan down.

"You need to calm yourself down. We will find a way. There would be someone who will help. Not everyone will be afraid of that bas..d" Mathew clenched his hands.

After coming back from the lawyers office. Matthew told Evan to rest for now.  And he alone will visit some more lawyers.

From Next day onwards Matthew visited many lawyers for a weak  Week But to his disappointment. All the lawyers said the same thing as Rai.

Matthew's confidence began to drain. He didn't know how to help his beloved. He would rather die than allow others to take Evan away from him.

Matthew returned back to his home. The same time Mr. Wilson and Mrs Wilson were talking about Matthews' marriage. Seeing his son coming inside, Mr. Wilson said.

"Matthew, come here, and take a look at this."

Matthew didn't respond. Mrs Wilson. Took some photos. Showed it to Matthew.

"Look. Isn't he good. He is an omega with a good background. And also have good nature."

Matthew still didn't respond.

His attitude Irritated Mr. Wilson.

"Hmph. Are still dreaming about marrying that boy." He snorted. "Don't Even dream about it."

Matthew , who was already losing his composure because of the helplessness he felt, became more angry from his father's comments.

"Then you should be happy. Now right."

Matthew gritted his  tooth.

"What?" Mr. Wilson asked him in a low voice.

"I asked you. If you are happy. Now, he is going to be taken away from me." Matthew shouted.

Mr and Mrs Wilson was surprised. Because their son, who had always been a filial, was shouting against them.

"What.? How dare you talk like that to me." Mr Wilsom stood up from his chair. He was Very Unhappy. Mrs Wilson also felt uneasy. She tried to stop them.

"Calm down dear. I feel like he is pressured about work. He is not in his right mind." She said.

Matthew smiled  mockingly.

"Ha. Right, I am out of my mind. Not because of my work. It's because of you two." Matthew looked at his parents with a dark face. Mr and Mrs Wilson were surprised. This is their first time seeing their kind and soft hearted son in berserk. He never showed this much anger. Especially towards them.

Matthew didn't stop. He said with grievance.

"It's because of you two. That day when Eve's father was in hospital. You guys already knew about it. And didn't say anything to me." He gritted his teeth. His voice was full of disappointment.

"You took away my phone because you guys didn't want him to call me. And ask for help. Right."

Mr and Mrs Wilson were stunned. They thought they hid it very well and their son wouldn't know about anything.

Matthew was right. Both of them received a call from a neighbour saying that Mr. Brown was taken to the hospital. And also learned about Evan's asking for money. They didn't inform Matthew about this. And acted like they didn't know anything.

But now they wondered how he knew about this.

A  few days after the neighbour called his parents. Their son who was also a friend of Matthew called him and informed him about what happened. And what his parents did.

Matthew first didn't believe that his parents did it. He rushed back to the hospital. But he learned that Evan paid the money.  And he also confirmed that what his friend told him was true.

He rushed back to his parents to confront them. But when he got there, he realised that his father had high blood pressure. Matthew  took his father to the hospital and did not question him for fear that his condition would worsen.

But he  lost his patience  today. The resentment he had suppressed so far towards his parents came out.

"Now you can be in peace. But you should remember. If I lose my Evan, that day you will also lose your son."

With that said, Matthew  went into the room and closed the door. Mr and Mrs Wilson sighed, not knowing what to do. They understood one thing. Something has happened. That may cause a rift between Evan and their son. Mr. Wilson did not heed his son's threat. Mrs Wilson also stood there not knowing what to do with her son.

A day passed, Matthew did not open the door and come out. This created fear in Mrs Wilson. Matthew did not open the door no matter how many times she called. Mrs. Wilson finally stopped enduring this, and  opened the door with a spare key. The mother could not bear to see her only son lying in the bed like someone who had lost everything.

They tried to pacify him in many ways.Although they don't know the  exact reason. They understood a rough idea. Someone else has come to marry Evan. If their son was unable to do anything, and is this helpless. His opponent has no way of being an ordinary person. She also thought that Evan had ditched their son for someone else.

Finally Mrs. Wilson conceded defeat. They can't lose their only son. Mrs Wilson approached her husband and explained things. Unable to bear the struggles of his wife and son. Mr. Wilson was silent and no longer opposed his wife.

So the next day Mrs Wilson  decided to meet Evan  and talk with him. Even if she doesn't want to do this. She had no other choice.
