The Mysterious Depth

One calm night, the stars glittered as i looked out the window. The wind against my face, it was cold but soothing, but then a glass smashed from the steps.

"hey mom dad?" I muttered quietly, a silent scream echoed the house. I got to the bottom of the steps...

all I saw was blood pouring onto the white glass marble floor, I stood in fear 'what am I going to do... am I next? who did this?' I thought intensively. I slowly peered out from where I was standing and saw my mother, "m-mother..." I whispered, a dark figure appeared and my mother's body fell to the ground.

I shot up. sweat pouring from my skin, I just sighed, 'it was all a nightmare' I told myself.
