(Roujo's POV)

"What's up with this place anyway? I need to get out of this situation or I will be a dead meat in no time. It's hard to move around when you have wound, plus there's this dark place where you can't see anything. Don't screw me!!"(Roujo)

Or so I said but, it's not that I could do anything with this situation, all I need to do for my best is to keep my calm and sane.

Haah.. I hope I could use some lights or torches to light my way.

That's right!!

All I need to do is to ignite some fire with my magic right?

But before that, I need to check the atmosphere to avoid explosion, I'm inside of this dark place after all.

Wether it's a cave or not, I need to be careful with fire.

Hmm..hmm.. okay.. the air is a little bit cold, I didn't feel any dusty feeling under my feet for a while, that only means that I'm safe with fire magic.

The question now is, how do am I supposed to use a small fire?

All I can do is create some big fire attack, I can't use that big flame inside of this place or I'll end up being a crispy skeleton.

Haah.. I need to think about it again.

I can't really do it, the image that shows inside my head is the image of a blaze.

Wait, if I remember correctly, there's a magic that can illuminate the surrounding without using any fire right?

I need to figure it out first.

That magic is a small ball of light, and then it looks like a little star with a gentle light.

Wait a little while until I poured a little amount of mana at the point of my finger and.. Illuminate!!

"Yoshaa!! I did it!! Ahahahaha.. ouch..what am I doing jumping like I don't have any injury! Sigh.. the light problem was solved and now it you huh? Welp, sorry I can't imagine how to heal the wounds so it only means I can't heal myself huh.

I have no choice but to endure this wound, sigh.. I need to be careful now.

I need to move and get out of this predicament of mine or else I'll die for sure this time.

But how am I supposed to get out of this place?

I don't even know if there's any exit or entrance to begin with..

I suddenly screamed out of nowhere!

Why did I not realize that it was a monster and not my stomach?!

Shit!! I'm in a pinch situation right now! I need to deal with this monster first.

Shit, it even has claws that were bigger than my hands, what's with this creature? It so big than even a simple house can't even stand a chance against him.

It's eyes were glowing like cinders, and it's sharp teeth were as big as a shovel.

It has a body a boar but a head of the bear.

Wait, does that mean I can eat this thing if I managed to kill it?

If that's the case, I'll gladly have a meat of boar and bear in my meal.

"Sorry but, you challenged the wrong opponent. It is now your time to be my meal!!"(Roujo)

I managed to kill him but, I also suffered with my injury.

It now keeps on bleeding again, hunting with some injury was somehow a rough thing to do.

I won't do it next time.

Time to clean this thing up and have meal now.

Thank goodness, it came in a right time when I was hungry.

Yoisho, it's time to eat now hehe.

"Mmp?! What is this? It doesn't have any spices yet it's still delicious.. it's also tender and juicy. It's even better than the wagyuu meat that I often see on TV. Ahahaha!! This is what I dreamed about traveling in another world! After a long time! Though I can't hide the fact that I was still locked inside of this unknown and dark place. Man.. when will I got out of this place huh? I wonder what was that fairy doing right now? Welp, let's just finish this up and start moving. Ump.."(Roujo)

After Fillis made his report with Vid's friend, they started on their move to find where Roujo is.

"Where the hell did he disappeared to?! If we don't find him until tonight, Captain Dorsal will kill me for sure!"(Vid)

"Don't get ahead of yourself, we are yet to know what is that monster in the first place, if we can't handle that troublesome monster, all of us inside of this island would end like Roujo. Instead of being frustrated about nothing, let's be grateful with Roujo for leaving us some clues about how strong that monster is."(Ast)

"It's not that I'm not grateful with him Ast, I'm just mad at myself, I can't even call myself a knight with the actions I've done. Letting and leaving my companions to their deaths door is a very shameful act of the knights. I don't even have any face to show at Captain Dorsal now. I wanted to end my life now but that's only way more pathetic and unsightly as a knight."(Vid)

"I understand what you mean, but you did what you needed to do, if you did not made those decisions, I can imagine that we'll only find nothing in this forest, I can consider it as a miracle if we're fortunate enough to find a body in this messed forest. As you can see, the forest was turned into a wasteland just in blink of an eye."(Ast)

Vid remained silent as he realized what Ast just said, you can still see his troubled expression even after realizing all he did.

Another report from the messenger came which made Vid's face more sour and troubled.

"Team Captain, just now, Captain Dorsal and his brother Aribal arrived in the place where the victim was found."(Messenger)

"Good work on calling them here. You can have your rest now."(Ast)

"Understood."(Messenger)

Vid began to make a move from where he's standing, he went to where Dorsal and others are while wearing his troubled expression.

But it's not just a troubled expression he's wearing, something is different with him than a while ago.

His eyes are full of determination and resolve as he walks towards the place where Roujo disappeared.

"Captain Dorsal."(Vid)

Dorsal and the rest turned their attentions to him as he marches with Ast chasing behind him.

"What is it Vid?"(Dorsal)

Vid bowed infront of them while Ast who's chasing him stopped from where he stands.

"Please forgive me for what I've done! Because of my weakness.. two of my members fell victim, and one of them disappeared in front of my eyes, as such, please kill me as a payment for what they've..."(Vid)

He didn't finished what he's speech when Aribal kicked his face.

Aribal's eyes were blazing in anger after he realized what were Vid's intentions.

"Don't take us as a fool, were not a part of knighthood anymore and you know that yourself! Don't blame everything on your actions alone, it made me disgusts you to the bone. Acting like a hero in front of others and then blame yourself when something bad happens. It's all because of that reason why we left knighthood right?"(Aribal)

Everyone were startled even Dorsal when Aribal let his voice out.

No one ever imagined that the usual and calm Aribal will blow his fuse and say something aloud.

"You heard him right, don't take all the blame to yourself, were also responsible of this matter. Instead of acting like a fool and loser, let us hear the report from you yourself. You've seen that monster right? Tell us in detail."(Dorsal)

Vid's eyes bulged after he receives the orders from Dorsal.

"It's hard to believe my story, even I can't believe that something like that even exists in this world. It's like.. it's something like it came out from the legends, physical attacks won't cause any harm even magics won't work. The only thing that I can describe with that monster is that, it's the very embodiment of death and fear."(Vid)

Everyone remained silent as if they were still waiting for Vid to continue his story until Dorsal asked for another detail.

"Then, what is the appearance?"(Dorsal)

Vid continued to describe the appearance of the monster.

While Vid describe it's appearances, Dorsal and Aribal tried to analyze the monster until Vid finished his speech.

After a while, Dorsal began to show some sweats on his face, they realized that something sounds similar and familiar with the monster that Vid describes that's why Dorsal asked him again.

"Are you sure about what you're talking about? Is it not a made up story? Maybe you just misunderstood what it's characteristics."(Dorsal)

"I'm certain, and I'm not lying, I will be more shameful than the scums if I lie with my report. What I had said we're all true, none of them was a lie. You can even confirm them with my members."(Vid)

His answer startled Dorsal and Aribal.

"I understand. I won't ask any further than this."(Dorsal)

"Are you sure about that? It's a very bad news you know?"(Aribal)

"Ahh, I'm sure about that. There's nothing to doubt with his words, his eyes doesn't tell any lies anyway. It's just hard to believe and.. you're right, it's a very bad news."(Dorsal)

Everyone except the two of them were still dumbfounded about what they were talking about.

"May you tell us what are you talking about? And also what is this bad news is?"(Vid)

"Nothing at all, you just need to prepare yourselves since maybe also you can't believe what I'm about to say."(Dorsal)
