"Hmm... so the girls are gone?" Jason returned back after a few hours, spending it over forging the sword. He looked at Huyan Lanruo who was diligently cultivating and asked her.

Huyan Lanruo replied, opening her eyes. "Yup. They left two hours ago."

"Did you do something while I'm gone?" He asked her, looking at her suspiciously, clear about her trouble-making character.

"Hey, that's rude." Huyan Lanruo pouted, trying to hide her awkwardness.

Jason saw it but decided to ignore it. It's not like he had so much energy to spare, keeping an eye on her every second.

Just then Jason felt the auras of a few people approaching. Walking out, he saw Ye Zong and Gu Yan.

"Do you finally make a decision?"

Ye Zong sighed and spoke heavily. "I discuss it with my friends and elders. And we decided... that your idea is good."

Jason smiled and nodded his head. "That's what I'm talking about. Go back and sleep peacefully. You will receive good news in the early morning."

"Do we send a few people to help?" Ye Zong asked.

"No." Jason shook his head. "They will only get in my way."

Jason shared a few more sentences with them before sending them off and returning inside. He told Huyan Lanruo that he would be going to be busy tonight. There was an important matter that needed his attention.

Huyan Lanruo was disappointed but didn't ask anything more, agreeing with him. She knew if it was something she should know, he would have told her.

The duo had a healthy dinner together before Jason left the mansion. Just as he stepped out, his figure disappeared, entering inside his void form.

Floating like a ghost, Jason made his way to the Sacred Family Mansion.

Sacred Family as one of the three major families sure had a huge mansion, taking quite a few kilometers, only smaller than Snow Wind Family.

Jason ignored the guards at the entrance and infiltrated inside.

'First, let's take out the experts.'

Spreading his spiritual sense over the mansion like an inescapable net, he created a map of the place in his mind, identifying the location of everyone.

Opening his eyes, Jason flashed a cruel smile.

The hunt has begun!

The beast was finally out to taste the blood.

Floating slowly, he made his way towards a building in the distance.

The building was quite huge and seemed like a hall or something. Stopping in front of the entrance, he sank into the ground. Inside the large hall, three middle-aged guys were sitting cross-legged, their cultivation very deep.

The three of them were Black Gold experts barely a breath away from Legend rank, it's a shame that not only they had exhausted their potential, but they were only fighters in the end.

The trio was cultivating diligently, with their eyes closed.

Jason's eyes flashed with blackness as the entire room was swallowed by a black shadow.

The three Black Gold rank Great Elders of the Sacred Family instantly felt the changes around them, jumping to their feet but it was already too late.

Everything turned eerily quiet…

The elders were overwhelmed.

It was a domain refined by Jason with his 'Devour' ability, turning it into an extremely deadly attack, capable of annihilating hundreds of enemies together.

And since Jason didn't want to waste time with them, he shot forth three blades, aiming for the lives of the Great Elders of the Sacred Family.

With their senses blocked, the three of them were unable to react as the three daggers instantly penetrated their chest, stuffing into their chest.

Three of them made a small sound from their throats, looking at each other in shock.

'We are doomed!'

Jason's daggers were not simple, coated with a potent poison, instantly messing up their energy flow, not even letting them make a final effort.

The trio died in a matter of few seconds, their eyes revealing their despair.

Jason retreated his domain from the room and put back his daggers, leaving the corpses behind for his next hunt.

Floating like a ghost, Jason appeared at one place in a moment before appearing at another place.

In just a span of five minutes, he assassinated over a hundred experts without even giving them a chance to alert the guards.

Finally, when he was done with the outer part, he moved to the inner main hall where the core members of the Sacred Family resided.

Jason entered a room and saw a young man playing around with a young woman, slightly older than him. Looking closely, he recognized that young man.

He was Shen Fei, the Future Patriarch of the Sacred Family!

Jason had heard rumors about him being a playboy, destroying the lives of many young beautiful girls who studied at the Holy Orchid Institute.

But the current girl didn't seem to be a student and with how much she was enjoying herself, she seemed accustomed to it, maybe Shen Fei's play toy or something.

"That bitch Xiao Ning'er! One day I'll press her down under me and make her my plaything... She will also moan like a bitch just like you..."

"Yes!... This bitch... you sure have been trained properly. I'll train that slut just like you..."

Hearing his rambling nonsense, Jason sighed. With a swift movement, he first knocked out that young woman.

Shen Fei was startled but before he could make a move, a cold light flashed in front of him as a dagger stuck him on the head, reaping his pathetic life.

'An assassin's code: Never kill an innocent and only your target!' Retrieving his blade, he cast a cold glance at the young woman before leaving her lying unconscious on the floor.

Moving from one room to another, he reaped the lives of Shen Yue and two other family elders, leaving only Shen Hong and Shen Xiu alive after a few minutes.

Shen Xiu had already been knocked cold, so he drifted to Shen Hong's chamber. The grey-haired man was silently cultivating within his chamber with multiple elixir bottles lying around him.

Jason chuckled watching him, trying his best to break through the Legend rank without even realizing that his entire family had been slaughtered already, leaving him the only person alive.

Jason's eyes flashed with darkness as the domain was spread out, swallowing the entire chamber including Shen Hong.

Shen Hong was bewildered, opening his eyes abruptly in alertness, only to see the endless darkness around him.

"W-What is going on here? Where is this place?"

Shen Hong tried to move around but found his body being frozen in a spot, unable to move at all.

"Hehehe..." 

Suddenly, an eerie laughter echoed in the endless darkness as Jason made his entrance. "We meet again, Patriarch Shen."

"W-Who are you?" Shen Hong's eyes trembled as he looked at the young man, unable to remember him.

Jason smiled and touched his face, his face slowly changed, turning into Wu Ming.

"How about now? Do you recognize me?"
