Inside a hospital, the door of a ward opened revealing Go Guhee.

The middle-aged man stepped out, his expression troubled as if a great worry was eating him.

"S-Sir, is everything all right?" His aide, the young asked politely.

Go Gunhee caressed his beard and sighed. "It's nothing. Let's leave. Also, ask the doctors to keep an eye on the condition of Hunter Sung for the next few days."

"Yes, Sir." The young man nodded his head and left.

Go Gunhee glanced at the ward of Sung Il-Hwan, furrowing his brows.

'Hunter Sung Il-Hwan! What happened inside the dungeon? There is nothing suspicious in his expression when he says he didn't remember anything. But I have a feeling that there is something... he is hiding.'

Later in the car, Go Gunhee was sitting at the back of his luxurious sedan lost in thoughts when suddenly his eyes lit up with a bright yellow glow as a chill ran down his spine.

His forehead was drenched in sweat instantly as a creepy aura crept over him. He slowly glanced to the side and saw a person sitting beside him at the back of the car.

The figure was draped in black robes and had the silhouette of a human. A small smile hung at the corner of his face as he opened his mouth.

"Go Gunhee, the strongest hunter in Korea! 72 years old. How long can you use this weak body of yours to protect this country? I can help you and also answer the question currently plaguing your mind. Meet me at this location tomorrow! I'll wait for you!"

After saying that, the figure disappeared, turning into smoke, startling the strongest hunter in Korea.

Go Gunhee could not talk even for a second and was scared to the core, his eyes trembling with brows drenched in sweat. He gasped for breath while trying to collect himself.

Ting!

Just at that moment, his phone made a sound. Taking it out, he saw a message notification.

Go Gunhee opened it to read the content, causing his brows to cease in a furrow.

Because the content was an address, an address of a cafe.

And it was also clearly advised to come alone if he didn't want any trouble.

Go Gunhee rubbed his temples feeling his head splitting from the headache.

"Are you alright, Sir? Should I turn to the hospital?"

Go Gunhee raised his head and saw the worried eyes of his men. He smiled and shook his head.

"It's nothing."

The next day

"Sir, are you sure? Maybe, I should come with you?"

Go Gunhee shook his head and patted the shoulder of the young man. "You go back and take a day off. I've some urgent business to do."

The young man sighed and nodded. "Okay, Sir!"

After the middle-aged guy stepped out, he drove away.

Go Gunhee observed him until he disappeared before taking out his phone and confirming that he was at the exact address.

*Ring!*

"Welcome Sir, what should I get you?"

Go Gunhee pushed open the gate and was greeted by a sweet young woman who politely asked him before she freaked out.

"Aahhh! Y-You're... Hunter Go Gunhee!"

Go Gunhee smiled and spoke to her. "Will you please get me a black coffee?"

"Y-Yes! P-Please, take a seat!" The young woman excitedly said and joyfully went to prepare the order.

Go Gunhee smiled at her reaction before turning his attention to the only customer present inside the cafe who was suspiciously draped in a black coat.

Walking over to him, he sat down opposite him.

"You're finally here, President!" Jason greeted the elder.

Go Gunhee narrowed his eyes. "Who are you?! What do you want from me?!"

Jason stared at the old man and smiled, not replying.

Go Gunhee was sweating, feeling his palms getting wet while his exceptional senses honed from the battles were giving him a profound feeling coming from the young man.

'He is not your average young man! I am not his match!'

"Sir, your order!"

The waitress's voice broke the silent atmosphere between the two, letting the old man realize that he even had subconsciously forgotten to breathe because of his nervousness.

The waitress brought the black coffee before excusing herself as she could feel the heavy atmosphere from the table.

Jason finally opened his mouth. "How's your coffee?"

"Pardon?" Go Gunhee was taken aback, not paying attention.

Jason smiled and opened his eyes, as his eyes glowed with a deep scarlet glow.

"President Go, do you wish to save humanity from its doom?"

*Heok!*

Go Gunhee felt like a mountain crushing down on him as if the sky had fallen on his head. He was having the feeling of sitting in the palm of a higher existence who could crush him just by closing his palm.

'What is this feeling?... I cannot even breathe properly... I am being restrained by an invisible force...'

Jason chuckled and said, staring straight at him. "Soon, the world will change and a huge catastrophe will hit it, causing huge destruction with millions of causalities. Do you wish to prevent it?"

Go Gunhee's eyes narrowed as he observed Jason closely.

"Who the hell are you?!"

"Again, the wrong question, President? And here I thought you're much smarter than this?" Jason spoke with his eyebrow raised at the old man.

"Then what is the right question?" Go Gunhee asked carefully.

"How would I know?" Jason shrugged his shoulder and sipped his coffee, a mysterious smile hanging at the corner of his face.

"You!..." Go Gunhee felt his facial muscles twitching before he took a deep breath to calm down himself.

"Why do I believe your words?"

"No reason." Jason simply took a sip and replied leisurely. "It's entirely your choice."

Go Gunhee clenched his fists, feeling himself entrapped inside a small glass filled with water, drowning. Go Gunhee even had the hunch that the more time he would spend with him, the more he would be pulled into the other party's palms.

Jason tapped the table breaking the old man's peculiar state.

"Relax. I've no intention to harm you. On the contrary, I'm very much interested in helping you. But the condition is if you want. Or else you'll forget about this meeting forever."

Go Gunhee gulped down hard and asked nervously. "Then just answer this question of mine. Are you perhaps the reason behind Hunter Sung Il-Hwan's safe return?"

Jason smiled and stared at him.

There was no need for any answer anymore as in a sense he was admitting it.

"Then let's hear your deal!" Go Gunhee spoke with a sharp light in his eyes...
