The next day, Jason reached the guild

"Hyung-nim!"

"Huh?... Jin-Woo? What happened?" He turned around and saw Jin-Woo coming inside.

"Hyung-nim, I need your advice."

"Oh! Go ahead," Seeing Jin-Woo's serious face, he thought it might be serious.

'What could have happened?'

"Actually, today..."

Jin-Woo then told him about his talk with Jin-Ho. How the latter offered him 30 billion Won worth of building for helping him complete 19 raids.

Even though he had agreed, he still needed his advice.

"Hmm, it's a big amount."

"Yes, Hyung-nim."

"Well first tell me, do you trust that Jin-Ho completely?!"

Jin-Woo was taken aback by his question. He couldn't say that he trusted him but he also didn't see any ill intention from the kid.

"I don't know."

A smile formed on Jason's face. This idiot had already started trusting him but just didn't want to admit him.

"I think you should help him. It's a good chance for you to level up smoothly."

"You think so, Hyung-nim." Jin-Woo took a sigh of relief. But then he remembered something and took out a key-looking item.

"Hyung-nim, I received this item from today's quest. It's an S-rank! Should I use it?"

"Oh, it's an S-rank!... I think you should use it. It'll be beneficial for you." Jason faked a surprised expression. "I'll also accompany you just in case."

"Okay, Hyung-nim." Jin-Woo nodded his head and excitedly left the office.

'What a cute fellow!' Jason smiled, finding his behavior very much to his liking.

...

In front of the Daesung Tower.

A super-tall skyscraper over a hundred floors tall was standing straight as if to pierce the heavens above. Indeed, this was what the modern skyscraper should look like. Just looking up at it made him feel extremely dizzy.

Jin-Woo was afraid that Jason would not be able to follow him inside and told him about it.

But Jason assured him that everything would be fine.

Jin-Woo determined himself and used the key.

The space distorted and an invisible space ripple spread.

A big yellow-colored gate opened in front of them with lightning flashing around.

"What are you doing?!"

Jason looked around before his eyes landed on Jin-Woo who was touching the entrance.

"Nothing. It's just unlike before the entrance was not sealed by a barrier. It surprised me!"

"Leave it. Let's focus on our goal at hand."

Jin-Woo nodded and turned towards the scene behind them.

Could this place even be called a dungeon anymore?

A completely different world was waiting for them.

Instead of the vanished Daesung Tower, a massive tower-like structure stood there.

'Wait, is that really a tower, or should I call it a castle, instead?'

A tower rising high into the air without an end, wrapped in reddish black flames. It was as if the tower wasn't burning, but it was spewing out billowing flames, instead.

They slowly walked towards this burning tower.

Crackle! Pop!

The closer they got, the louder the noises of flames rampaging around grew.

'Can I even enter this thing in the first place?'

"There's an even bigger problem before you think about that."

Jin-Woo's thoughts were interrupted by Jason. He looked in the direction where In-Taek was staring at.

He spotted a black lifeform the size of a bull huddled in slumber right in front of the doorway emitting a very strong aura.

Jin-Woo carefully summoned the Poison Fang of Kasaka.

"It's all yours," Jason said while pushing him a little.

Jin-Woo was startled but soon understood him. He nodded and walked toward it slowly.

However, it was impossible to fool the olfactory senses of a monster. Soon enough, the creature sniffed the air and raised its body up.

'Che.'

Jin-Woo clicked his tongue.

The creature stood up completely and all three of its heads turned in Jin-Woo's direction.

[Hell's Gatekeeper, Cerberus]

"Growl!"

The Cerberus sensed the enemy and bared its fangs to threaten him.'

Jin-Woo's gaze then wandered off to the creature's tail. It kind of resembled a whip, and its end was enveloped in flames as well.

Jin-Woo's eyes sharpened in an instant.

The Cerberus slowly closed the distance before stopping right in front of him and began studying him for some reason.

'Is it… looking for an opening?'

Just as he thought that….

The monster attacked him.

"Rowr!!"

Jin-Woo's eyes opened much, much wider.

'Too fast!!'

Jin-Woo barely evaded the Cerberus's fangs by sliding underneath the leaping monster.

The Cerberus landed back on the ground and spun around before began biting at him with its three heads.

"Woof!! Bark!! Rowr!!"

The sharp fangs gleamed coldly in between the biting snouts.

Jason found a high spot to watch the fight since he had no intention to participate.

Only by gaining experience did Jin-Woo would be able to fight against the Monarchs in the future.

He watched as Jin-Woo got bitten by the monster but had a hidden ace in his sleeve.

By using it he was able to kill the three-headed monster.

On the other hand, Jin-Woo only let go of the Cerberus's neck after confirming its body going limp with his own eyes. The heavy body sprawled to the floor without any resistance whatsoever.

Plop.

Jin-Woo rested his hands on his knees.

"Ha-ah…."

Only now could he breathe a sigh of relief.

A monster that could use a skill – if he didn't prepare a hidden trump card, then he'd have been killed for sure. A chill crawled down his spine just from thinking about it.

Jin-Woo stared up at the burning tower.

Crackle! Pop!

The very top of the structure was completely shrouded in some kind of blurry fog. He had to enter the tower if he wanted to see what was going on inside.

But, Jin-Woo shook his head.

'Now's not the time.'

"Good choice! You're not ready for it yet." Jason landed beside him and said while patting his shoulder. 'At least until you get your class!'

"I know," Jin-Woo said with a hardened expression.

Although he was slightly unwilling, he stored the grey key inside his Inventory.

'I will return.'

Definitely, very soon.

Jin-Woo smiled as he turned around to leave.

Seeing his back, Jason smiled before he turned towards the Cerberus's body.

'Let me prepare a gift for you then!'

"Arise!" He issued an order in a commanding tone.

"Awoo..."

With a loud roar, a cloud of thick black smoke rose from the dead body. In just a few minutes, it turned into the shape of the three-headed Cerberus.

Jason quickly stored it before following Jin-Woo.

'I'll give it to you later!'

And with that, the short raid came to an end and both of them left the dungeon.
