1 The Beginning

It was a cold and dark. The fog lightly touched the ground. It was silent.

A dark shadow covered the full moon's light. Shifting positions the light touched the skin of a girl whose skin was serene and eyes, a shaded night sky.

Without a sound, she took a small bead from out of nowhere on the tips of her finger. The small bead glowed a bright green color. Flicking the bead into the darkness something started to move.

Quickly coming out of the darkness was a dark and gloomy monster. It crawled on its hands and feet. It smelled gruesome. The dark hair covered the face of the monster.

The monster tried to attack the girl but the girl dodged the attack and took another bead in the tips of her fingers. Shooting the bead straight into the monster's head it knocked the monster down. But the monster didn't stay down for long. It once again attacked the girl and once again it missed.

Before the monster attacked again the girl took her palm and breathed. Her eyes opened roughly and she began her spell. The spell put a small fire ball in her palm and shot at the monster. The monster dodged the fireball and grew.

The monster grew in size and grew in power. The monster quickly moved to the girl but was suddenly put her hand on the monster's head. It stopped moving wildly but twitched crazily.

Slowly the ghost dissipated in the air. The girl put her hands together in a praying position and prayed that the ghost take great care.

The girl went to the direction of where the ghost first came out from. Looking around the cave that the monster came out from there was many bones. A few corpses laid around as the girl walked around. To her surprise there was one corpse that was not eaten but alive with all flesh intact.

The living corpse was a small boy. He was skinny and weak. His only clothes were rags. He breathed quietly but was still heard by the girl.

The girl went to the boy and shook him lightly. Looking for other survivors as she had thought, there were none but this boy was still living. She grabbed the boy around the arms and legs around her shoulders and waist carrying him out of the cave.
