In a small, cozy apartment on Elm Street, 16-year-old Emilia "Mia" Thompson was busy helping her mother prepare dinner. Mia sat down beside her, taking in the sight of her mother's worn hands and tired eyes. "It was good, Mom," she said, puzzled what happened when suddenly her mother asked "did something happened at the school, your principal called me"
