1 The day that the world ended

I had woken up in an unfamiliar room, with a ceiling I didn't recognize as I sat up feeling groggy...for some reason when I had heard someone yell "Ianthe Grimes, if you don't get up you won't have time to eat your breakfast before you have to go to work".

I get up and, say "Oh right!" as I get dressed in my work clothes and say "I have to do my presentation today or I won't be able to get my promotion to assistant director" while I do my hair in a messy bun and run down stairs to the dining room.

Where I see my mom and my little brother sitting smiling at me, as I had smile back and sat down.

Mom: "Ianthe Grimes, what are we going to do with you? you're always like this, it's hard to believe that you're the genius you are as I smiled while shaking my head".

Little brother: But she is still the best older sister in the world! all my friends can't help but talk about her and she's the nicest one ever as I get up and hug her.

Ianthe: Sitting as my little brother hugs me as I hugged him back with smile I put my head on the top of his and had let go as I thought 'wait that's not my name and who are these people as i get an headache as an flash flood of memories of my last life and the memories of this person goes through my head' when it came to an stop I think 'that's right...I must have died and then had been reincarnated, or something to this person.

And have taken over, gaining her memories with maintaining my old life memories.

That woman is my mother Lori Grimes and the little boy next to me is Carl Grimes my little brother as i am Ianthe Grimes making my father Rick Grimes'.

I'm drawn from my thoughts when my mom, which is Lori puts her hand on my shoulder as she has a worried expression.

Lori: "Ianthe are you ok? You don't look so well? As I had put my hand to her forehead while I had did the same with my hand placing it too my forehead."

Carl: Big sister are you ok? I had asked in a worried tone.

Ianthe: Smiling at them as I had said "I'm sorry...it's just that I was worried about dad wondering when he'll wake up".

Lori: Awe, sweetheart it'll be ok as I hugged my daughter and said "after I drop off your little brother off at school I'll go and check in on him as I think Shane is there too?"

Ianthe: After hugging mom we had ate our breakfast before heading out.

(30 minutes later)

Ianthe: On my way, to work I thought about what has happened to me saying 'ok...so...I must've died back in my old world that I was in and had was given the chance to be able to reincarnated here or I could have also been transmitted here or something in to the body of the person that has been through a similar life compared to my old one but with the love of her family.

And with her being androgynous just like I was but her family has accepted her to where only my mom and dad did as they loved and cared for me the best they could have as they raised me the best way they could have but they'd passed away when I had finished my last year of highschool.

But on the upside, of seeing things we have done the same things is cool.'

Like martial arts, and has graduated from the college even though we had gone to different once's.

'She had gone to the school of engineering/ security the university of new Hampshire' as im not saying 'that university of Pacific isn't great but it was my second choice out of the two which I had chosen because of it being an full scholarship'.

While I couldn't go to the University of new Hampshire because they only offered an partial plus.

Our rankings in school was a little different she was top 3 were I was top 5.

But after going through all of her memories I have confirmed that I am definitely in the world of walking dead and that we had came to live here a week ago.

That's when I stopped walking as I am just a block a way from work when I say 'wait an... week ago...but that's....before I could finish... a military truck draws me out of my thoughts'.

They had been driving past the speed limit of what they're supposed to but in the direction of the hospital.

I say 'wait...no....no it can't be...but before I had finished my thought' I had already turned around and ran full speed towards the way the military trunks had to gone that was in the direction of the hospital yelling "DAD"!

(45 minutes later)

I reach the hospital and what I see is all hell has broken loose with this being the final nail in the coffin.

Since on my way here, I had seen people that were running whil screaming as they ran past me.

I see the military shooting any walkers or people moving around as I think 'dads is on the 3 floor but by how the first floor looks it should be clear of the military as well as the walkers as I had ran to the stairs.

I say "he should be ok uncle Shane should have...and yes uncle Shane apparently that's what Ianthe calls him.

And I don't think it's bad, back in my old world I would have loved if he was my uncle but any ways he should have blocked his room door with a bed like in the show."

I also guess that phones don't work being that I haven't heard it ring since all hell has shown it's fucking head.

Mom and Carl must be worried about me, 'I'm sorry mom and Carl but as soon as dad is up and able to move we will come and find you in Atlanta well more of just outside of it.'

I reached the 3rd floor and as I had expected the floor is completely deserted and I see a bed blocking one of the rooms door and say "that's dad rooms and I run to the room door stopping in front of the bed".

I think 'I should keep the bed here to block the stragglers but...I'm sure there isn't any well any that hasn't been lock up down the hall that leads to the other wing but just to be on the safe side I'll keep the bed' as I open the door and crawl over the bed into dads room seeing him sleeping peacefully I smile and say "I'm glad your safe dad."
