When I took Noir's hand a spire of grey
light encompassed me, a satisfying warmth
surrounding me. Noirs parting message
echoing within the spire,
"Mathias, you are going to the land of
Teyvat! A land of gods and magic!
HOWEVER! I do not have the authority to
grant you the magic of Teyvat… instead I'll
impart you with the magic I do have the
authority to grant."
There was kindness in her voice… but also
sadness… not because we had to say good
bye after barely meeting … but a sadness
when an opportunity passes by.
As the grey spire of light glowed brighter, i
felt a displaced burning feeling comparable to
mild sunburn across my torso and arms
'Noir's power…' I thought.
The spire now gave off a blinding light! And I
could no longer see Noir, but I still felt her
hand in mine…
"Thank you… Noir." I whispered behind smiling lips as my eyes grew heavy and my consciousness faded.
"Good bye, Mathias…"
were the last discernible words I could make out.

{Windrise}
A gentle welcoming breeze danced
between the hearty leaves belonging to
the great tree that towered in the center of
Windrise, as a carefree verdant bard sat
upon one of the tree's many majestic
branches. As if to greet the Falcon Coast this
gentle breeze strolled across the cloud covered
prairie that separated the two; all of a sudden
this gentle breeze abruptly stopped!
As it came across another yet unfamiliar wayfarer.
Much like the first, this second wayfarer was
also brought to Teyvat by means of a goddess.
However! The second wayfarer came of their
own volition, and… they came alone.
"Meh… mmm… eh… h…" Mathias groaned.
His entire body was in pain.
'This must be what getting hit by a bus feels
like!' He thought unable to move, unable to
open his eyes . With nothing else to do but lay
there, Mathias silently listened to the world
around him. Listening as the shy breeze
brushed against nearby foliage, the sound of
birds rhythmically chirping in the distance.
'Did it rain?'
The breeze, now comfortable with the
new wayfarer, rushed faster through the foliage,
bring with it the scent of nearby flora. The
smell of moistened dirt had been flushed
away by the unique aroma of familiar flora.
'I know this scent… it's …SnapDragons!'
A sense of familiarity was a small comfort to
Mathias, it eased his transition into this new
world easier … even if only by a little.
~Khhtssss~
the droning of static filled his ears… the kind
of static he heard before meeting Nior. Strange lettering took shape in his mind. Like characters appearing on screen for a computer monitor
—Constellation: Perdita—
The words disappeared, as a recognizable
voice called out to him.
"Mathias?" the soft feminine voice called out.
"Noir?!" He exclaimed! Mathias thought his
farewell would've been his last
"~sigh~ excellent! I was worried I wouldn't
be able to reach you… having been just
recently transferred and all. Now Listen
closely! I have much to say and not long to
say it!
1. The power you have doesn't belong in
that world. Be wary around whom you use it.
2. The magic of Teyvat is produced by
Elemental particles, these particles could be
comprised from Teyvat's seven elements:
Anemo , Hydro, Electro, Geo, Pyro, Cryo and
finally Dendro.
3. There are Dangerously powerful figures
called: Archons.
DO NOT USE YOUR POWER AROUND THEM!
4. Every symbol… er, uh… tattoo on your
body acts as a phylactery for your other-
worldly power. Though… it may take a while
to harness them.
5. The phylactery on your left forearm
holds the power I've forewarned you about.
That's all the time I have… shit! There was
still so much I needed to say! … Be safe
Mathi-.."
~khhttssss~
The static abruptly stopped, cutting off the
last portion of Noir's farewell. Small rays of sunlight peeked from behind somber clouds, shining gracefully onto the land below.
A few rays passed over Mathias, before
jealous clouds reclaimed their hold in the
sky, hiding away the suns golden rays.
Mathias opened his eyes, taking in his first
look in the world of Teyvat.
