"I see," the Giant King said. "That is why I sense great strength from you. You survived where others perished… But what is this? I sense fainter presences amongst you."

The giants looked amongst themselves. "Some of us are weaker, my king? Please point us out and we will gladly give our weak blood in order to make you stronger."

"No… This is not the presence of a giant. I sense something weaker than that. Something that once amused me… Is it… human?" The Giant King tilted its massive head downwards from the very edge of the Earth's atmosphere, looking upon them like a spotlight. With eyes so large, Ermos did not doubt that it had seen them, so he waved his hand.

"Yo," he said. "We didn't mean to be listening in on your conversation, but you kind of interrupted the battle we had going on."
