Chapter 18 - Part 1

Ermos

"This is more like it!" Ermos said excitedly, his sword hand twitching as he watched an army of goblins stream out from inside the fort's keep.

"You're insane…" Harkin said darkly, none too excited about the enemy in front of them. "Fall into line!" He ordered. The others obeyed, but there was no confidence on their faces, nor hardness in their expressions.

"There's too many…" Sol said quietly. "There must be three hundred, at least. We ought to run. Find a better way of dealing with this."

In answer to his suggestion, the goblins ran towards the two exits, blocking their retreat, laughing hauntingly as they did so, completely encircling the Redrun party.

"Where's the boy?" Harkin asked, noticing that Pash wasn't with them.

Ermos looked around for him too. He couldn't catch sight of him either. He didn't worry though. If they couldn't find him, then that meant that he didn't want to be found.
