Kiran rubbed his eyes before opening them.
"Whoa! Where am I?" He exclaimed, looking at his surroundings.
Big and small purple crystals are all around me, and this place looks like an underground dungeon as shown in those anime shows.
He stood up, trying to find out more about the place.
Huh? Did I get smaller?
He, who was used to his six-foot height, suddenly felt his vision was small and close to the ground.
"Paws?" He exclaimed in shock, looking at his hands, which he brought close to rub his eyes.
He looked down as his body appeared in his vision.
"I transformed into an animal; I transformed into an animal…..." He muttered repeatedly, his mind blown in shock.
What in the world is going on?
Kiran tried to understand his current situation.
Yes, I died.
He finally remembered what was going on; he was just an ordinary man in his thirties.
He went to a supermall for shopping on a fine day, which soon turned into a nightmare as the supermall was attacked by mentally ill terrorists.
He, being a kind person, tried to stop them by planning and spotting the correct moment.
There were a total of five terrorists who appeared.
One of them had a bomb strapped to his body, intending to detonate it in the mall, but he didn't want that to happen, as there were more than two thousand people in the mall.
After the terrorists took control of all the people in the mall and brought all of them to one floor, the assailant stood at the edge of the high tenth floor, which presented him with an opportunity.
He swiftly moved toward the assailant.
Boom! Boom!
Kiran got shot by terrorists as they spotted him rushing towards them, but he withstood the pain, grabbed the assailant, and leaped to the ground below by breaking the glasses.
The assailant stood at the edge of the high floor, so it was a guaranteed death.
The bomb exploded mid-air, resulting in the deaths of both the assailant and Kiran.
There were four more mentally ill idiots; I don't know whether everyone survived.
Kiran felt tense for others, forgetting about his situation.
His efforts indeed paid off; his jump holding the guy gave the cop hiding in the mall to shoot down the remaining terrorists, who were shocked as their friend was taken out by surprise.
"I think I should care about myself now." He said to himself, looking around to spot an object that could reflect his appearance.
He soon came near a huge purple crystal, which gave off purple light.
His image appeared on the rock. Which was a small, fox-like creature with brown fur. Its muzzle is very catlike, with a small, black, and triangular nose. It has a fluffy, cream-colored ruff around its neck and a brown, bushy, fox-like tail with a cream-colored tip.
Eevee? Wait, I am Eevee??
Kiran turned into an Eevee!
He looked around to check for more information.
No, there are no dungeons in the Pokémon world. And how can I become an Eevee?
Kiran cannot understand his current circumstances.
"I gave up my life for others. Is this how you treat me, God???" Kiran shouted aloud in rage.
"Eeveeeeee, eeeeveeee."

Kiran got excited thinking about levelling up; he wanted to experience the game world.
He walked in the single direction available to him.
I will settle in this world if it is good, but I have to find a way to turn into a human.
In his past life, he did have parents, but he didn't care much about them since they divorced when he was ten years old. After he turned eighteen, they stopped providing him with financial support.
Despite technically having parents, he grew up feeling like an orphan. As for marriage, he never found the right partner.

On the walls, blue coloured circular seals were placed.
They might be magic seals.
He didn't care about them as he looked at the glowing portal in front of him.
The portal was just similar to his size. He quickly entered the portal.

Kiran looked around as he found himself in a large hall with a smooth white marble floor.
He was in an enclosed area; his entire surroundings were crystal clear and clean, without any dirt, unlike before. There was no one present in the hall.
There were many beautiful snake paintings on the sidewalls.
The floor was packed with holes, but there was a certain distance between each hole.
The hall had statues of snakes on each side.
Kiran slowly started to walk ahead.
Tip! Tip!
The sound of walking echoed. Due to this sound, he started to slow down, and he placed his legs softly, but it was useless as the noise didn't stop.

The hall was quiet, which allowed even a small noise to echo until the end of the hall.
Hiss!

A sudden, hissing snake echoed through the hall.
Kiran quickly spotted a light-yellow coloured snake rushing towards him. It was very small, just a half-meter.

"Alright! (Eevee)." Kiran exclaimed and rushed towards the snake with sparks in his eyes.
He rushed the snake without wasting time and tried to scratch it with his claws by jumping on it.
Grr!

The snake's body had five long and deep scratch marks.
It held its pain and bit him on his front right leg by jumping on him.

"Crap (Eevee)," Kiran roared in pain, attempting to wrench the snake from his leg with his claws.
With all his strength, he dug his claws deeper into the snake's body, causing it to writhe in agony. Despite the pain, the snake remained steadfast in its bite.
"Eeveee." Kiran ran towards the wall and kicked it with his leg.

The snake's head was bleeding. He kept kicking the wall, and finally, with one last strong kick, the snake fell to the ground.

He didn't have to look at his status to understand his situation as his leg turned blue due to poison.
"Expected reality check. Nothing goes as we dream (Eeveee)," Kiran muttered, his face twitching in pain.
He looked at the dead snake, expecting to receive something. His current situation is very critical; he could die in a few hours to a few days if he didn't get an antidote.
That is why he pinned his hopes on the reward he would receive for killing the yellow snake.
Soon, the yellow snake's dead body disappeared, and a purple crystal fell on the place.
"Eevvee." He exclaimed in pain as he tried to stand up.
He could only limp due to an injured leg as he came to the purple crystal.
This crystal!
Kiran was surprised as he took the crystal, and he understood how to use the crystal once he touched it.
Crack!
Once he broke the crystal, his body was surrounded by purple light.

After his body was healed, he didn't waste any time, as he rushed back the way he came.
He looked at the portal, which stood at the end of the hall.
Swoop!
[ Ding! You entered the safe zone of 'Silver Serpents Dungeon' ]
He returned to the floor from where he began.
Kiran looked at the huge purple crystals with stars in his eyes.
The small crystal he got just now was a smaller version of the big purple crystals on this floor.
This is why he was in such a hurry to return and check whether he could take crystals from here.
He arrived in front of one big crystal and tried to scratch to take out one small piece.
