4 Chapter 4 - The Bountiful Blessings

"No!" Broken shouted, desperately shaking his head. He felt his body suddenly become heavier, and he stumbled, unable to bear the weight of the armor he was wearing. He crashed to the ground.
[The Warrior class and all eight of its associated skills were lost as the level requirement had not been met.]
"No, please don't do it." Broken exclaimed, shaken and panicked by the notifications that kept appearing.
He had worked so hard to accumulate all his skills, yet now it seemed they had been thrown away. "Wait, no! All the skills that I have painstakingly accumulated through the years of hard-work!"
Broken's equipment automatically became unusable as it failed to meet the minimum requirements. Consequently, all the armor he had been wearing clattered to the ground, revealing nothing more than his white underwear, the default setting for all players in the game.
Broken was in a state of confusion, unable to think of anything that had happened to him. In an instant, all his progress over the last three years had vanished. "Please don't tell me that I've been scammed," he pleaded. "This can't be happening, right?"

Broken saw a notification of a massive increase in his affinity with Akidia, the Goddess of Sloth.
"I need to wait; a champion is something every player wants in this game."
At the same time, the global announcement reappeared in front of all the players of Immortal Legacy, illuminating their vision with its bold message.

Broken stood proudly, taking in the victorious air with a deep breath. He closed his eyes, allowing a gust of wind to sweep over him, and without him noticing, several orbs of spirits, sparkling with a myriad of colors, slowly approached him.

"Eh?!" He exclaimed in surprise, "This is it."
The cold wind blew over his body, which was clad only in his underwear. His excitement was palpable, and the notification that had just appeared gave him a glimmer of hope.
"This is it, this is it....the God Champion, yes!" He waited impatiently as the notification appeared, albeit slowly.
"Let's see what kind of power she has given me."
[Title Effect: You won't be able to level up by slaying monsters or other players or by any other means, as you won't gain any experience. Consequently, your character will remain at level zero permanently.]
Broken sighed heavily as he read the description of the title he had just acquired. "This has to be the most useless title I've ever seen in this game," he muttered.
"If I can't gain experience and level up, then how am I supposed to get stronger?" He paused for a moment, taking a deep breath before continuing.
[As the Champion of The Sloth, you have been graced with the privilege of Self Transcendence, a divine blessing.]
[This blessing will have an unpredictable impact in unexpected moments or situations for anything in your possession, and can improve whatever you have, from abilities to any restrictions. However, don't set your expectations too high, since it's not like you will suddenly become the strongest individual on the planet or anything alike. After all, miracles don't occur out of the blue - you have to create them.]
"Self Transcendence, that sounds cool. Maybe the blessings I received will make up for all the drawbacks. We'll just have to see."

[Grants the user bonus rewards from defeating enemies, increasing the likelihood of obtaining rare rewards or even doubling them.]
[A high probability of raising the reward grade by one level.]
[A small probability of raising the reward grade by two levels.]
[A minuscule probability of getting the reward twice.]
Broken acquired his first skill, granting him a bonus reward for every monster he defeated; boosting the amount of drop rewards he received.
"I won't get any experience or level up from killing monsters," he muttered under his breath, "but I'll still get a drop reward, and there's even a chance of getting rarer rewards. Plus, I have a chance to double my rewards with this skill. Killing higher-grade and higher-level monsters might be the most optimal option to do."
[New Passive Skill "Adaptive Equipment" has been Unlocked.]
[Adaptive Equipment (Passive Skill) Lv. 1]
[Grants the user the ability to equip any type of equipment or weapon regardless of its size or material, albeit with a slight limitation.]
[The user is able to equip or wield weapons and equipment that are up to 200 levels higher than their own level.]
[The user will not be penalized for using weapons of a different class than the one they possess.]
The next skill he got enabled him to use any equipment regardless of his level, class, or anything else.
"This way, I won't have to worry about having a low amount of stat points because I can make up for them with the equipment I'm wearing."
He was aware that he would need to get his hands on some high-grade equipment and weapons in order to utilize his skills more effectively. Unfortunately, he didn't have the financial means to purchase them as they were quite pricey.
"I need to find a way to get these items," he thought to himself dejectedly.

[The user has a chance to be automatically upgraded for items or structures they create or produce. This upgrade is only applicable to objects produced directly by the user, and the upgrade process will take place after the object has been fully created.]
[There is a high chance of upgrading items to an Epic grade.]
[There is a small chance of upgrading items to a Unique grade.]
[There is an extremely small chance of upgrading items to a Legendary grade.]
However, the next skill he got made Broken get another idea.
"Quality Enhancement?" This skill would allow Broken to automatically upgrade any item he created or produced, not just items but also structures.
"The skill seems to be related to the production class," he said slowly, nodding in agreement.
"This way, maybe I can make better use of it if I take up a production class for myself, like blacksmithing, tailoring, alchemy, and so on," he said, his face immediately lit up with a happy smile.
He shook his head in disbelief, marveling at the many skills that had suddenly presented themselves to him. "Ah, I think there are lots of fun things I can do in the future."
"If I can get a high-quality item, I can sell it at a higher price, right? Does this mean I can also earn a lot of money doing this?"

"Domain Boundless Access," he said thoughtfully, "is a skill that permits me to traverse any dungeon with a maximum level of 200. It's almost like I'm using a cheating tool to game the system. But, who am I to complain? It's a blessing from the goddess of sloth, and I've earned it fair and square." He nodded slowly in agreement.

[There is a possibility to advance the rating of a Quest by introducing new challenges and increasing the rewards.]

Broken swallowed hard after reading through all the descriptions of the blessing and skills he had received. He felt that he had been truly blessed with abilities that were far beyond what was logical and reasonable.
"Do all god champions possess such absurd and extraordinary powers?" he wondered out loud.
"The last skill is Quest Advancement. This skill enables me to upgrade the rating of any quest I receive. This is incredibly valuable because acquiring a quest with a high rating is incredibly difficult. With this skill, I will automatically get a rating upgrade!"
Broken clapped his hands in satisfaction at all the things he had acquired, and at that moment, he noticed some faint whispers around him. He scanned his surroundings and noticed even more spirits hovering near him.
"I love you, I'd be honored to be your spirit and to make a contract with you."
"With me by your side, you'll be able to reach even greater heights of strength and power."
"He's so cool, I'd be proud to be his partner."
Broken had completely forgotten the reason why he had come to that particular place - to make a contract with a spirit. Instead, he was graced with the blessing of a goddess - and it seemed the spirits still hadn't lost their desire to form a bond with him.
Broken chuckled and smiled broadly, expressing his delight. "Now that I have a higher status, I'm hoping that more and more high-grade spirits will want to sign a contract with me."
However, at the same time, he heard a ding sound.

"Eh?!" as he opened his inbox and quickly scanned the email that had just come in.
