41 A Tiring Harvest

With the death of the Razer Tusk Boar, there were a lot of accompanying notifications.

Though among them there were a few that were the most important such as the level-up, and the achievement.

The level-up was obvious, but the achievement was something a lot better.

<Achievement: One who fights above his class>

<Info: The player will not be intimidated by enemies above their level and class easily>

'While it isn't a title and doesn't give direct stat bonuses, it is still one of the best achievements one can get this early on.' Arthur thought to himself.

In Morpheus Online, one could obtain stats and other bonuses through various ways which also included titles and Achievements.

The two factors often overlapped in the way they were obtained, but the difference was that Achievements were stackable!

Titles actually had a limit to how many could be equipped at once. This was a limitation that players wouldn't even know for the coming few months since it was difficult to obtain that many titles.

The current limit for equipped titles was five and Arthur only had one of those right now.

"Let's get to butchering the boar," Arthur put off the stat distribution for later, as he wanted to use the instant stamina replenishment from it when he got tired.

With how big the Razer Tusk Boar was, Arthur simply used the Black Tear Short Sword as a carving knife. There were already several cuts on the Boar's thick hide, thus Arthur simply used one of them and slid the short sword in.

Slick!

Then with a precise movement, Arthur sliced through the hide vertically down the Razer Tusk Boar's belly, reaching all the way to its tail. Then he extended the cuts to its limbs and started skinning the hide of the beast.

Normally one would take out the internal organs first, but Arthur wanted to avoid harming the hide more.

'It's already been damaged enough. If it was intact, it would be worth a lot, but right now it'll be better if I just use it myself.' Arthur thought to himself.

His butchering skill was being used to the full extent as he finally finished removing the hide of the Razer Tusk Boar.

>Player Arzhur had obtained a Low Quality Razer Tusk Boar Hide x 1!<

Arthur quickly rolled up the hide and kept it aside for later. Next, he got to removing the entrails of the beast.

Most of them were wasteful, but there were still a few that were useful.

>Player Arzhur has obtained a Low Quality Razer Tusk Boar Liver x 1!<

>Player Arzhur has obtained a Low Quality Razer Tusk Boar Heart x 1!<

"Haha, I managed to get them out intact." Arthur was pleased with his work.

With his butchering skill, removing internal organs was a difficult task and there was a high chance of failing and spoiling them. Even if the ones he had obtained were of low quality, Arthur didn't mind them.

"These will serve as nice tonics!" Arthur knew the secret of the two organs.

>Inspect Successful!<

<Target: Low Quality Razer Tusk Boar Liver>

<Info: Consuming a properly cooked Razer Tusk Boar Liver will grant the player bonus Strength Stat>

<Target: Low Quality Razer Tusk Boar Heart>

<Info: Consuming a properly cooked Razer Tusk Boar Heart will grant the player bonus Vitality Stat>

Many players would either miss out on this or would never know that something like this was possible at all.

"When they found out about this, it was from a different Razer Tusk Boar. The players were already around level fifties at that time and didn't have much to gain from it. But now… it'll grant me the much needed stats!" Arthur laughed again.

He carefully wrapped the heart and liver in the sinews of the Razer Tusk Boar before putting it in his bag.

Next, he got to butchering the part that he had actually come here for.

>Player Arzhur has obtained Low Quality Razer Tusk Boar meat x 16!<

>Player Arzhur has obtained Low Quality Razer Tusk Boar Bones x 6!<

As soon as Arthur got the meat, the quest notification rang again.

>Quest Updated<

>You've successfully obtained the meat of the Razer Tusk Boar. Please deliver it to the beggar in order to obtain your reward!<

"Last but not least… the prized part of the beast." Arthur looked at the two sharp tusks.

They were still intact and only had a few scratches on them here and there. They were about thirty centimeters long and were very durable. In fact, they were so durable that Arthur wouldn't even be able to cut them.

Sigh!

"As much as it pains me, I'll just have to shatter its jaw bone." Arthur saw no other way of removing the tusks.

And to do that, he simply picked up one of the many wall fragments that were laying around and started hammering the jaw bones.

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

Arthur hammered away with all his strength, trying to break the bone. Minute after minute passed, but not even a single crack could be seen on the jaw bone.

"Even its bones are no joke…" Arthur wiped the sweat from his brow.

>Player Arzhur's stamina has fallen below 25%!<

As if on cue, the warning notification also appeared.

"Guess it's time to put those free stats to use." Arthur quickly pulled up his stat menu.

Arthur chose to raise the same stats as before but raised the toughness by two points.

'I'll get the bonus from the heart and liver later and I'm close to a second level up anyways.' Arthur wasn't that worried.

"Let's get back to hammering." With renewed stamina. Arthur held the chunk of the wall and slammed it into the jaw bone again.
