"Starting" The doctors voice resounded.

Chris and Mark waited for a few moments until blue liquid started filling up the whole capsule.

Chris and Mark were submerged in this blue liquid but they didnt feel uncomfortable, instead, they felt very sleepy.

Slowly, they went into deep sleep.

Mark who felt like he went to sleep, saw a white light coming from afar and slowly enveloped him.

The next thing he knew, he was standing in a pure white space, Mark curiously looked around and this place was too bright.

He could not even properly see around.

*Ding!

[Welcome to Alter Online]

A floating screen appeared in front of Mark, he curiously touched it but his hand went through.

[Do you want to customize your character?(Y/N)] another screen appeared in front of him.

Mark immediately chose Yes.

*Bzz!

A figure appeared in front of Mark, it was the same as his real life appearance, a long black hair with ruby eyes, he was not that handsome but he could be called above average, he was 6 foot tall.

[You can now customize your character]

Mark inspected the character customization and saw that he could even change gender, but it warned him that it would be his permanent character gender in the game even if he delete the account.

Mark felt scared as he imagined himself being stuck in a female body, anyway, he immediately changed the appearance of his character.

He changed his hair color to white and he also found that he could change the hair style and the length, and so he made it a little bit longer, he then brushed the hair back looking like a bad boy.

He didnt change the color of the eyes but he changed his eye brows and made it sharper, he also changed his nose into something that goes along with his character appearance.

Mark also added little fangs on the teeth.

Mark didnt change the height, Mark then checked the time.

"There's still a few minutes left, I will add some tweaks" Mark said then continued tweaking his character for a few more minutes.

After a while, he was satisfied, he now have a handsome bad boy character, "I always wanted this kind of style" He commented.

Mark thought about it for a while and decided with a name.

[Name {Nevermore} has been registered]

Mark was surprised, he could earn money while playing and live streaming? isn't that a good idea?

"Yes, I wish to live stream" Mark immediately replied, he doesnt care if his character get famous or something as long as his life in real life is not bothered.

"Ooh, amazing, I never thought it was this easy" Mark praised.

[While registering, the system will explain the livestream functions to the user]

"Please do" Mark said.

The system then started explaining the functions of the system, like interacting with the audience, there is also the gift function in which where the users will send gift to him.

Of course, being a live streamer isnt smooth sailing, You need skills or a way to entertain the users, if you cant get the interest of the users, then your livestream wont gain popularity.

There are also some called the stream snipers, but the game will have a way to stop that.

After the system finished explaining, Mark was taught how to bring up the chat and some other things, well.

Mark was not that talkative so he would really not talk too much, and he was very confident with his skills.

"I will live stream when the games start" Mark said.

[Affirmative]

Mark then jumping around and adapting to his new body, he didnt know why the system was talkative but maybe it was part of the game.

Anyway, Mark adapted to his body but he could not help but notice that there were some delays, and also the strength was also not there.

"Maybe because I dont have attributes yet?" Mark thought.

After a while, the system came back again and announced.

[Alter Online Server 1 is opening in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1, have fun players]

*Swoosh!

The whole white space around Mark suddenly collapsed and the next thing he knew is that he was falling from the skies.

"Ahhhh!" Mark shouted as he was afraid of heights, but he loved the feeling of the wind on his face, he could feel everything.

"Is this what they say comparable to real life itself" Mark commented but he was still shouting as he fell from the skies.

[Do you wish to start the live stream?]

A panel appeared in front of Mark, "Start the live stream!" Mark commanded.

[Live Stream Started- Channel Name Nevermore, Alter Online Live Stream is now open]

Another panel appeared in front of Mark and it was the chat box and the viewer counter.

Then Mark saw the number started rising up like a tide and multiple people started chatting up.

From 100 to 1000, from 1000 to 100,000 Mark's live stream exploded at a very fast rate.

"Whoa, so many people" Mark exclaimed, he then looked at the chat.

Mark read the comments and every second there will be new hundreds of comments and the ones he had read had been buried in a blink of an eye, but he noticed he havent introduced himself.

"Umm, Hello everyone! My name is Nevermore! I'm a new player of the Alter Online and this is my first time streaming" Mark introduced himself.

He noticed many new chats flooding the chat box but he ignored it for now as he was very close on crashing on the ground soon.

Mark felt his heart skip a beat as he crashed on the ground.

*Boom!

Dust kicked up and Mark was buried on the ground, but he noticed a figure beside him.

"Hey bro is that you?" Mark asked as he remembered that Chris and Him will spawn at the same location, he also refrained from saying Chris real name.

"Yeah!" Someone replied to him.

"Lets climb out the pit first" Mark said as he climbed out.

A little while later, they climbed out the pit they were in and they looked at each other.

Mark was shocked when he saw the appearance of Chris, he still had the pink colored hair, his appearance was altered a little bit.

But what surprised Mark the most was his gender! he was using a freaking female character!

"What is you ID?" Chris asked as he noticed the shock from Mark's face.

"Nevermore" Mark replied.

"My ID is Nyx so call me that" Chris said.

Mark nodded and then glanced at his livestream, his chat exploded, it couldnt be helped, Chris was already beautiful as a male.

But now he turned into a female, then his beauty charm has been buffed by a hundred percent.

"Wait a minute guys, I'm going to mute the mic" Mark said then muted the stream.

"Who are you talking to?" Chris asked.

"Oh, I'm live streaming" Mark replied.

"What you could live stream?" Chris asked in surprise.

"Forget about that for now, why is your character a female?" Mark asked.

"Oh, its nothing, it was my habit in games to play female characters" Chris replied.
