15 His Real Name

I knew it. He won't just say yes for nothing. He's really keen on pissing me off and getting back at me. What a very sly fox. He knew I hated kissing him, so he used it to irritate me. Ugh! So hateful.

'Your face, Kim Ye-Ji. Remember, everyone is looking, so you can't show your real hostility towards him. Smile,' I told myself.

And so, I smiled cutely—ugh—and did as he suggested. I leaned close to him and kissed him briefly.

But of course, he wouldn't let it be like that. When I let go, he stepped closer to me until my butt bumped into the car, and he kissed me some more in the most passionate way. I never knew he was a kissing maniac.

Pressing his lips deeply on mine, he kissed me while his hands traveled to my waist and back. Then, one hand to my neck and the other, down to my—what the heck! Don't you dare!

I gasped and held his hand to stop them from moving any further. When my mouth opened, his tongue went inside, making me jolt in surprise. I felt shivers run down my body.

What the… He's even using his tongue on me now.

"Ahh…"

Badump! Badump! Badump!

'Where did he learn to kiss? And why is he doing it so… hot? T-this is too….'

"… Uhm… stop," I said under my breath.

For some reason, his kiss was a bit… just a little bit… sensual. I felt my cheeks burn and my heart pound loudly for the very first time. What was that? H-how did that happen? Why did my body—WAAAA!

I pushed him away and took a step to get in the car, but my legs suddenly gave away, much to my surprise. He caught me by my waist to prevent me from falling. But… why in the world did I—?

"Ha-ha. It seems like I'll be driving, after all, babe," Agent Helios said.

F*ck. So this was his plan all along.

"No experience, my ass," I scowled at him. "How are you so good with kissing if you had never done it before? Y-you even managed to… ugh."

He tapped on my wrinkled brows, reminding me to fix my expression.

"Why, thank you for acknowledging my kissing prowess. I told you I don't need to experience something to be good at it, or did you already forget? Should I recommend some memory pills for you?"

"Shut up."

"May I remind you to watch your tone and expression on me. Where did all our training go into? Are you a goldfish with 3-second memory?"

"You…mrgh."

"Shhh," he hushed my mouth with his forefinger. "Get in the car."

Annoyed about the whole thing—mainly that I couldn't drive—I got inside the car and slammed the door. He also went inside and reprimanded me as soon as he closed the door.

"If you're so keen on blowing our cover, just say it, and I'll look for another partner instead. I don't need someone who doesn't know how to listen. Be a little professional, would you?"

Then, he tossed his black smartphone to me.

"I don't feel like explaining anymore, so just read that carefully. If you have an important question, ask, but make sure it's something not covered there, or I'll just tell you to read thoroughly."

"Tsk."

"Since my car is fully tinted, I'll allow you to glare at me as much as you want," he continued nagging, "but once we get out, I expect you to act your part—and properly."

"Yes, BOSS."

"Eun-Woo," he replied. "Call me that when we meet my dad."

Raising my eyebrows, I asked, "Is that your real name?"

"Yes, so be sure to remember that, Kim Ye-Ji."

My eyes widened in surprise.

"H-How did you know my real name?"

"Marriage certificate," he answered. "It needs to be real, so our real names are included. It's too risky to create a fake document."

"S-So this marriage will be real?!"

"Ugh. Don't overreact. We can file a divorce after. And if you don't want it in your record, we can ask Mythos to hide it, so it's no problem. We're doing this for the mission. Are you still not over that fact?"

"Well, now that we're actually doing it, it's nerve-wracking."

"Hm?"

"It's because of my mother," I confessed. "She had always been looking forward to me getting married and living happily ever after like some Cinderella. And this… I don't know. It's a lie. And I'm not that good at lying, I'll admit, especially with my mother."

"Then you better make sure your acting is flawless."

"How about your dad? What is he like? What kind of person is he?"

He turned silent for a moment.

"You'll know when you meet him."

"Are you not even gonna give me some clue—"

"Read," he replied sternly and pointed at his phone.

"Fine, I'll read."

And so, I read the document on his phone while he started driving.

"Jeon Young-Jae," I repeatedly mumbled to memorize his name lest I forget.

'So that's his father's name. Why does it sound familiar?'

I continued reading along. It contained all information about his likes and hobbies, topics I should never discuss, like his brother.

'Oh, he had a brother, huh? Why should I never discuss it? Is he some black sheep who gives headaches to their parents? Hmm… And don't mention his mother, too? Are they a broken family? Hmm… This document is very censored, huh? It's barely giving me any useful details. Oh well, I'm not allowed to know more about his personal life after all. This is still a mission. In that case, I'll just remember this part—his dad likes playing chess. He also likes seafood and dogs for pets. And… he values loyalty and trust. Of course, everyone values that.'

While I read through the document and memorized everything I could, before I knew it, the car stopped, and he asked me to get out.

"Are we there already?"

"No. But you need to change your clothes."

"Ah… right."

When I got out of the car, to my surprise, we were already at Cheongdam-dong (the most expensive neighborhood in Korea) Luxury Fashion Street.

"W-why here?"

It's not like I don't have money, but the dresses here cost too much, and it's a waste of money for something I would only wear for a little while. I could use that money to buy parts for my car or save up and buy my own Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut—if they'll ever release more of it.

"Let's go."
