My Heart

I have always been awkward and shy, never was into sports and just spent my days holed up in my house, because of that my heart couldn't pump blood properly and my body was always cold.

I started working out periodically to get my blood pumping and my body in shape, started going out and got a decent social life, my life went as if my past was just a dream and forgot about it.

Today was the same as every other day, at 7 P.M I decided to go to the store and get some groceries, just the normal stuff.

When I walked out I heard a loud bang, my knees buckled, I was thinking that I got frighten by the noise and that's why I fell, I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen and when I looked down blood was gushing out, my mind blanked and I remembered my past that I had left behind, the coldness of my body was the same as back then, I started to fear that it was gonna end just like it started, but I felt another emotion... anger! I was angry that my life was going to end after i just got it back together, I was angry that some mugger misfired and the unlucky fool that got shot was me.

[NO! I'm not letting it GO! If I'm dying then I'm taking you with ME!] I thought in the middle of the rage.

I reminded myself of all the heart exercises I did to get my heart to properly pump blood, with my mind filled with rage I started slowing down my heart rate to slow down the bleeding,

I slowed my heart to the point of almost stopping it and with all the strength I had left in me I rushed at the mugger punching him with all my weight, witch sent him flying at the lamp post cracking his head and killing him... I was satisfied, all the rage left my body and the blood soon followed after.
