Episode 54- [Guild Test] Shito Mahinu vs. Pryos (Part One)

The adventurer's guild was vast. Inside the guild, there were two indestructible rooms that were used for training. A room that was made from his mana to keep the room in a state that would keep it clean for use.

Sara Mahinu was the person who infused her mana into the room since her mana couldn't be destroyed. If someone were strong enough to destroy the room, then it would just be reversed back to normal. Her power was the same as her brothers. No matter how many dimensions were stacked on top of each other, a single attack from her would bypass dimensions, or it might even obliterate the dimensions.

Even though she never explores the realm of the void. The power from her brother was something that was stronger than the void, essentially making her an entity that was beyond the void.

In the middle of a vast room, there was an arena that was big enough to fit six people in it. The room was the training room that was used for helping the adventures grow or take the registration test.

In the training arena, Shito Mahinu and Pryos Navos stood twenty meters away from each other with their Mio Naruse waiting between them as the referee. Around the arena sat seats for people to wait and watch the battles, and the people that sat in their seats were Tenka Vermillion, Illayaka, and Illya Mahinu. They were waiting for the battle to start. After all, they were going to have to train against him too.

"Are you sure that you want to fight with me?" he asked curiously, "You don't have to fight against me, and you can start at the lower ran—..."

"Nah, I cannot do that," Shito looked at the ground before looking at the woman that was standing between them, "Being a low-ranking adventure is going to limit the amount of quest I can do, and fighting against you is the only way to boost my rank."

Shito's face was as calm as ever, and there were no changes in his tone. He talked in the monotone voice that he always talks in.

"Haa…. don't be upset with me for what happens next then."

"......"

Shito looked at the man without saying a word. Although he knew the reason for the man acting the way he was acting, there was no possible way that the man would be able to beat him in a fight. He had complete mastery of all kinds of weapons, but he loved using the sword the most.

Pyros grinned as he stared at the boy who was standing so silently.

"What… do you not have anything to say to me? We were supposed to be fighting, but after what I said, you didn't even say anything back. Are you perhaps scared of me? It would make sense, though, since I'm the silver swordsman. But you can back down if you want t—"

"Stop with all the pointless chattering. I want to hurry up and get this battle over with. I mean…. What reason should I fear you?" Shito's face still didn't change, but through the tone of his voice, you could tell he was slightly curious, "And don't use your title as the 'silver swordsman.'"

Pyros was acting the way he was, asking to see if the boy was going to give up. Most people tend to get scared and run away. He shows off his status as the silver swordsman, so he thinks that Shito is the same way as all those other people, and he is going to get him to run away before the fight can start.

But now, he was ready to fight with Shito. Even though there aren't a lot of people that stand in the world who would challenge him, this was the first time Pyros had a person who was willing to fight him.

"Mio, you can go ahead and start the battle… it seems this boy really wants to fight against me. And I'm happy to test the boy. After all, he is one of the only kids his age that tends to fight with me."

Mio nodded her head before responding to the words of the guild master.

"Ok…" she said, turning her head towards Shito, smiling brightly, "Are you ready to start this fight?"

"......"

Shito didn't say a single word, but he nodded to let her know that he was ready to start fighting.

"Well… LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!!"

After saying that, she quickly disappeared from the arena. She was a swordsman too, and she was comparable to the guild master, but she liked to keep her strength low since she didn't like to stand out.

Not even a split second later, the two rushed at each other barehanded. They swung their fist at each other, sending a shock wave throughout the arena. A barrier was placed around the arena to stop the people on the outside from getting hurt. When two people have the will to fight to arrive in the same arena, then a barrier would automatically be placed over the arena.

"I applaud you for actually going through with this fight. On that note, if you manage to land an attack on me, then I will recognize you as the winner.

"Let's keep fighting… I would rather have it that way than be recognized as the winner through landing one it because, trust me, I'm going to land more than one hit on you."

The winner was clear from the moment the battle started.

Hearing his bold claim, both Mio Naruse and Pyros Navos were left speechless. Saying that you were going to land more than one hit on the silver swordsman was something that no one in their right mind would say.

"...Well, if that's how you feel, then I'm going to make sure you eat those words."

Holding his hand out, a sword started to materialize out of thin air. The sword was a katana that he used while fighting people. A sword that he took countless lives with, but he had no intentions of killing his opponent.

Their fists have still collided. It was like they were giving each other a fist bump. But…

After getting his sword, Pryos put some distance between himself and Shito, gripping his sword tightly before swinging it.

Tornado-like wind pillars were sent throughout the arena. Wind pressures that were heavy enough to blow away trees or even, for that matter, destroy entire environments.

He didn't use any mana, so that wasn't a wind spell that he was using. The sword that he swung was so strong that he created tornado-like pressures.

"Let's see how you dodge this one."

Shito had no intentions of dodging the wind tornados that were coming his way since the attack could destroy trees and cities. He wanted to test his durability and see how strong he was.

As the wind pressures got closer to him, he stood completely still with no emotion on his face, letting the tornado envelop his body.

"Haaaa…. So that's all you had. I guess I went a little too far with that attack."

It was a sudden occurrence. An attack that far succeeded the attack of the wind tornadoes. Shito, inside of the raging windstorm, brushed aside the attack of the silver swordsman with a swipe of his hand.

"No way…!?"

Mio looked on from the crowd, "Im-impossible?!"

Their voices were utterly shocked. They were witnessing someone display powers that far exceeded that of any kid their age.

The silver swordsman let his guard down when his attack was suddenly destroyed. He put his hard work into the attack he had just sent, so it was completely reasonable that he did, but Shito noticed that he let his guard down at once.

He landed on the ground with his expression not changed in the slightest.

"Well… is that the strongest attack you have in your arsenal."

An explosive noise came from the ground. It was almost as if the room was splitting apart. Shito dashed towards the silver swordsman and swung his fist so hard that gusts of wind followed his attack.

The silver swordsman dodged his attack, but after that, he was sent flying. Shito had already swung his other fist, connecting his attack to his jaw with enough force to blow away the city.

"Damn, you are a fast one, aren't you? You already hit me in the face before I could see you. Well, I guess I should stop holding back then."

His sword grew brighter, and a bright blue aura surrounded his body. His physical abilities were being enhanced, and he was slowly transcending the physical limits that a human possesses.

"Tell me exactly how much you are able to enhance your body with the Ki you currently possess…?" asked Shito.

"I'm able to enhance my body tens of thousands of times with the current Ki I possess, but I'm slowly breaking those limits, but the force I'm at right now is enough to shake the entire galaxy," he said, suddenly appearing beside Shito's face. He was tens of thousands of times faster than the speed of light, "I hope you are able to take this attack."

Saying that he swung his sword, which was covered in a bright blue aura. His sword was enough to shake the galaxy, but—

"Hmm… well, I guess that's all that you amount to."

—Shito had completely caught the sword that he had put all his strength into with a force that was even greater than his.

I was going to play around with this guy to see what kind of attacks he could use, but… is this all the strength that he currently has? Well, he's lucky that I'm still at one percent, and my power is still sealed.

A three-dimensional magic formation formed and…
