Episode 25- Eating Ice Cream on a Date Is to Be Expected, Right?
When the two of them arrived in front of the ice cream shop, they looked at the two big signs and noticed all kinds of ice cream flavors on them. Various flavors of ice cream were present in the ice cream stand, and that wasn't the only ice cream stand in the whole amusement park. There were about three stands, and they were spread out throughout the whole amusement park.
There were all kinds of food stands near them, and there were foods that were made in Japan because of Hiroshi Yamato. He wanted to make the kingdom he ruled over like the home he once came from so—everything he could think of about Japan he placed in that world and he wrote books that originated from Japan, spreading his knowledge throughout the world to give it better technology. Hiroshi Yamato completely turned an old fantasy world into a modern fantasy world in the span of five years of his arrival there. Other than that, he no longer existed in the world, and he disappeared over a thousand years ago so there was no way to know if he was dead or alive.
A lot of work was put in for him to change the world into a modern-day era. Starting with all the travel he did to all the countries to make sure he could change them from the inside out. Most people were in denial about having all the technology around so he had to show the use for it and after he did that, he had to show people how to build the technology so he could mass produce it. With the food, he had to teach people how to cook and season their foods the right way. It was a job that was above the capabilities of a normal human because magic was required for most of it and because he was from another world his mana capacity was higher than most people, so he could simultaneously keep each of the nation's running for a decade without feeling tired. That gave him enough time to build things that run on machines and mass-produce them.
Shito deeply sighed. "We have been standing in front of this shop for a couple of minutes, so let us hurry and go get our ice cream or else we will be wasting most of our time together standing here."
"Well, you are right, so… let's go and get our ice cream."
With those words, both students walked to the front of the ice cream shop, waiting for someone to come to the counter so they could take their orders.
A woman suddenly appeared in front of the counter in a hurry, it was obvious that the woman ran in a hurry to get to them. They were at a shop, and she wanted her customer service to be the best.
The woman looked at them and politely bowed, "Hello, sir and ma'am. How may I take your order on this fine day." she asked in the most respectable way she could.
"I would like to have a vanilla ice cream cone," he looked at Tenka who was standing beside him and tapped her on the shoulder. "What would you like to order?"
After hearing his question, she quickly scanned through the list of ice cream flavors once more, and she finally came to a conclusion and looked up at the worker, smiling brightly.
"I would like to order the birthday cake flavor. It sounds like an interesting flavor to eat, and I've never had it before."
Hearing their orders, the female worker, instantly ran to fix their cones. There was an area in the back of the shop where the ice cream was sitting. There were multiple machines in the shop, and they were filled with ice creams of unusual flavors.
In an instant, she appeared before the two students and had the ice cream in her hands. A couple of seconds had passed, and she had already fixed their ice cream cones and had them ready. She didn't make a single mess and the cones were perfectly fixed.
"I have fixed your order… please enjoy this cone." the woman handed the cones to the two students and smiled brightly.
Taking the cones out of her hand, Shito and Tenka bowed their heads in respect before they walked out of the shop with their ice cream cones.
Once they arrived outside the door, they looked around and saw a bench that was near a tree. It was a big tree that had a single bench by it. The leaves on the tree were red and yellow since it was autumn.
"Well, we could go sit on that bench right there, it is directly under the tree, and I think it's kind of romantic." Tenka grabbed Shito's hand and started walking towards the bench. That was the place where the two of them sat down together, after all, the bench was only big enough for two people to sit at.
When they arrived in front of the bench, the two students sat down and looked at each other for a brief moment before they started to eat their ice cream.
Shito licked his ice cream, and his eyes lit up. The ice cream was creamy, and it melted as soon as it hit his tongue. The taste was creamy but that was all there was two it. After all, it was a regular vanilla ice cream, so he really didn't expect much from it.
"Hmmm. It tastes… normal."
Tenka looked over at Shito with a small blush on her face. "U-Ummm… D-Do you m-mind if I t-taste… yo-your ice cream." she was stuttering profusely, and her face tinted in a rosy shade of red. She was blushing in embarrassment, even though she was the one to propose the question… it was still embarrassing for her to do.
"I mean… I don't mind if you eat from my ice cream cone."
With a face that was as cold as ice, Shito put his ice cream in front of Tenka's face, so she could have a taste of the ice cream that was in his hand.
Depending on the circumstances, Shito's facial expression would change, while he never really showed any emotions, he would occasionally smile at his daughters and Tenka. Other than that, his face was always so cold. At home, his face was still cold, but you could tell his expressions were a little softer than they were in public.
Licking the ice cream, Tenka quickly adverted her gaze away from him. It was an attempt to hide her face.
"No need for you to be embarrassed. We have kissed before, so having a bite of my ice cream is not that bad."
"Th-That's completely differen–"
Before she could even finish talking, she felt a pair of lips connect with hers—the warm feeling on the lips of the beautiful boy beside her. Finally, the realization of the feeling came rushing in and she knew that she was being kissed by Shito.
She could feel the softness of his lips, and she quickly pulled her face away from his, burning her face into his chest.
"Wh-Why did you do… that?" Tenka gripped his shirt and after a couple of seconds her grip started to tighten, "W-We are in public."
"I don't care about being in public if I want to kiss you then… that's what I'm going to do, and no one can stop me." Shito bluntly said, his face was a little bit softer than it was the moment before. He put his hands on her shoulder, looking her directly in the eyes. "You are my woman so I should be allowed to kiss you whenever I want to because that is my right."
Tenka looked at her ice cream cone and smiled. She had eaten a bite of his ice cream so she thought it would be fair if she gave him a bit of hers. Her mouth opened and–
"Would you like to taste my ice cream!" she shouted, Tenka was too embarrassed to ask the question and she accidentally yelled instead.
Moving the ice cream in front of his face, Tenka put her head down in embarrassment. She was trying her best to hide her face because she was worried that he wouldn't accept it and if he didn't, she would be less embarrassed with her head down. Going on a date and having no idea what your partner likes to eat is a bad idea.
Leaning close to the ice cream, Shito took a little bit of the ice cream that she had, he didn't even care that she bit from it.
"Hmmmm! Your ice cream tastes surprisingly good." Shito leaned over to Tenka who was sitting beside him and started to get closer to her ear. "You know the ice cream probably tastes better because you already put your mouth on it."
Tenka pouted cutely. "Geeeez! What did I tell you about saying those types of things out loud."
"Well, we should eat our ice cream before it melts and once, we finish we can go and enjoy the rest of the date. We have been away from our kids for too long, it's about time for us to go back to them."
"...Ok," she responded.
With that, the two started to eat their ice cream, the ice cream hadn't melted because there was a magic spell placed on them. Magic kept the ice cream nice and cool, and all the ice cream shop employees could use the spell.
