Chapter 23 :- Body tempering Liquid
"Boom! Boom! Boom!..... "
The outer edge of Star dou forest has become chaotic lately. Spirit Masters hunting in the outer edges did not see any Millenium soul beasts lately. There were traces of fight everywhere, with broken trees, pits and sometimes blood trails.
What confused the Spirit Masters was that no corpse of spirit beasts were found. They were angry and cursing the person who looted the entire outer perimeter of the forest, not even leaving a corpse behind.

Inside the cliff side cave in Stardou forest a young boy was eating roasted meat of some unknown spirit beast with seasonings, with delight and satisfaction, as if praising his culinary skills.
* Sneeze!.... *
Suddenly there was a sneeze in the empty cave, the sneezing sound reverberated three times before they were further heard. Breaking the deadly silence in the cave.
"Looks like someone is badmouthing me" a youth in white hair pouted, while roasting a spirit beast.

" Who is cursing me so much? I don't think I offend anyone? " the boy was confused.
"Whatever.... " saying this the boy started feasting on the roasted spirit beasts.
Who could this boy be other than our protagonist, Yang Kai. He went on a killing spree these days in order to increase his prestige point, killed most of the Millenium aged spirit beasts on the outer edge.
He didn't even leave behind the corpses.Making many spirit Masters dissatisfied, but that didn't bother him. After rampaging for three days he hunted down more than 28 Millenium spirit beasts giving him a total of 5000 prestige points.
The only thing that dissatisfied Yang Kai was the absence of a good wine, but that couldn't be helped in the middle of wilderness.
After having a so called grand feast, he started going through the manual of items in the system screen, which he got as a system reward while hunting the spirit beasts.
The items were mostly ordinary and didn't catch his attention. But he was satisfied as the rewards included Three set of robes, and some items for daily uses.
Setting apart these items he scrolled through the rest of the items in the system screen. Yang Kai saw most of the items were decent but that did not catch his eye.
Yang Kai didn't expect to get much from the system, but still he was going through the details of each and every items . Suddenly his fingers stopped scrolling, as his saw a particular item.
Yang Kai suddenly stopped scrolling, as he saw a particular item in the screen.
The item was a cauldron. According to the description the size of the cauldron could be increased or decreased just by a thought.
Yang Kai took out the cauldron and started playing with it, increasing and decreasing it's size.After experimenting for a while , he found he could increase the cauldron to a maximum height of ten meters, beyond it caused his mental power to be depleted at an alarming rate. He then withdrew the mental enery from the cauldron and collapsed in the ground with exhaustion.
After meditating for a while Yang Kai recovered most of his mental energy.
"Looks like I have to become spirit master as soon as possible, my cultivation is not sufficient enough. "
While looking at the cauldron Yang Kai felt,
" At last got something pretty useful, This system is quite generous with the rewards this time!"

He also took the medicinal herbs and minerals he picked up from the medicine garden and the wilderness.
