I Think it's Time for Me to Rest.

Stephen got on top of Abrams who was struggling furiously while Stephen tried to talk some sense out of him. But Cain Abrams - who was hypnotized, won't stop until his task is complete. So, removing potential threats from completing the task is only optimal for Cain Abrams, as he now tries to strangle Stephen - holding him in his neck, trying to choke him.

Stephen struggled as he punched Abram's face while he is on top of him, however, Abrams would not stop gripping Stephen's neck, and this made Stephen struggle away to safety, but when he did, Abrams gets ahold of his gun and attempted to shoot the detective - but Stephen miraculously avoids the bullets and rushed under the metal desk.

Abrams madly shoots continuously until there were no bullets left. With no idea what to do, Stephen reached out on his pockets just to find the Mask in his hands. The detective proceeds to wear the Mask and commanded Abrams to stop.

But to his surprise, it didn't work as Abrams proceeds to get on top of him and heavily punches him multiple times to the face...Punches between punches, Stephen realized that he's nearly dying, as the taste of his metallic flesh began to feel too familiar; his blood dripping all over his mouth as he cough and tries to catch his breath. His own blood covers his entire face, and his eyes can barely see. At this moment, Stephen can feel his strength fade away as his arms feel numb and rest on the ground.

Stephen desperately tries to break free, but couldn't. He started to defend himself using his right hand while his left hand feels the ground in hopes he would grab something, and when he did, he plunges his hand into Abrams neck.

Abram's blood splattered all over Stephen's face, while Abram's body hardly dropped to the ground beside him.

Stephen's left hand bleeds with the remaining glass fragments intact on it. The taste of metal is left on Stephen's mouth as his gums severely bleeds, pain and weakness covers his entire body as he silently rest on the ground. His exhausted breath and his heart beating were all he can hear, until his vision began to blur with Felix's voice slowly fades in the distance.
