1 A Life Lost

"Damn it all...If I had just chosen to invest in that game. I wouldn't be here alone & poor."

Jake said out loud as he looks down from an old bridge. The bridge had moss growing on some areas and was looking like it was from the medieval age.

It was midnight and Jake had just received a call that his wife had divorced him and that he had a debt of over 1 million dollars.

He smiled thinking to himself.

"If I jump now, I would be free from all these things."

A 45 year old man standing on the other side of the railing while muttering to himself. The scene was kind of sad to look at.

But then he remembered he still had his mother which was needing him to pay her medical bills.

So he changed his mind and tried to go back but it seemed life has played with his as he stepped on some moss and slipped making him fall head first.

His last thought was.

"Why am I so unlucky?"
