Chapter 81

Looking at Zephyr who managed to stabilize the rampaging divinity by miracle, Eliziar let out a sigh thinking that what kind of freak he is.

Naturally as a transcendent, Eliazar knew the commotion among the transcendents that took place earlier. In his eyes, Zephyr was now a monster that stood on the apex.

For him to create the strongest sword arts, he really have the unparalleled talent. Even Eliazar uses a scythe himself, he knew that the sword arts of Zephyr was stronger than his scythe arts when the system had stated that it surpassed the swordsmanships of all transcendents.

It it to be noted that the sword arts of the transcendents were not weak at all. What baffled Eliazar was the short amount of time he created it.

He just mentioned that he didn't saw any sign of forms that came from the sword arts earlier yet Zephyr attempted and managed to create a sword art in a short amount of time.

Even among the talented transcendents, creating even a simple sword arts should normally take a long amount of time, yet Zephyr managed to create one within just seconds.

Moreover, it was the strongest sword arts at all. Eliazar sighed again as he found this entire thing ridiculous. Zephyr on the other hand, feeling that the unknown sensation has already stabilized, Zephyr let out a deep breath.

[Class Quest: Completed]

[Completion Rate: SSS.]

[You have acquired 'Unrivalled Saint' skill.]

[You have acquired treasure map.]

With the creation of the sword arts, Zephyr no longer felt a sense of lost even the sword skills was deleted. He then checked out the quest reward out of curiosity.

Opening the treasure map, he carefully examined it. Unlike the map that Marquis Phillips handed to him before, the location stated in the map was the Aerilon Kingdom and not Astarin Kingdom.

One of the four major kingdoms where players could spawn when they started the game. The kingdom is located at the southern part of the continent unlike the Astarin Kingdom which was located in the south west part the West Continent of Tensura.

Zephyr then closed the map and decided to further examine this map later if he would be interested in the legendary sword of the previous generation Sword Saint Izroth.

Zephyr proceeded to inspect another reward which could be said as a bonus reward due to the achievements he had made that resulted him to have an SSS rank completion rate.

[Unrivalled Saint Lv.1]

Rating: Legendary

[-You who have been exposed to the realm of transcendence have been destined to fight one. Whether it is a god, dragon, and any other transcendents, you shall always remain unrivalled as the saint of the sword.

* Deals 50% additional damage to demons, archangels, dragons, other transendents.

* Decrease incoming damage received from transcendent entities by 50%.

* Allows the user to have a golden ratio of 1:1:1:1, when all stats are in this ratio, all stats +150%.

Type: Passive

Skill Proficiency: 0%

Skill Resources Consumed: None.

Cooldown Time: None.]

Zephyr found the skill impressive but what caught his interest is the golden ratio. He knew that he would greatly benifit from the golden ratio throughout his growth journey.

If the effect's purpose would be explained in the hands of a normal player, it wasn't like if today he had 100 points in stats, he gets and extra 150 points according to the passive boost. However if someday when his stats reach 1000 points then the passive boosts would give him another 1,500 stats points.

It was like gaining 2.5 levels everytime he leveled up. With time, the golden ratio effect would make a player invisible. However, for Zephyr who already possesses massive amount of stats, the effect is more than enough as it gives an enormous boost in Zephyr.

Another system prompts began to appear in front of Zephyr without him doing anything.

[Stat points have been invested in strength.]

[Stat points have been invested in agility.]

[Stat points have been invested in vitality.]

[Stat points have been invested in intelligence.]

[Stat point have been...]

As Zephyr haven't allocated the stats point he obtained everytime he leveled up since he defeated Orias and until now, all undistributed stats points were automatically allocated because of the golden ratio effect.

[Your strength and agility stats are exactly the same.]

[Your vitality and intelligence stats are exactly the same.]

[Your charm and dignity stats...]

[Your...]

[Your super sensitivity and luck...]

[...]

[The golden ratio effect will strengthen your normal attacks.]

[All stats will be strengthen by the effect of the golden ratio.]

Zephyr now once again felt a tremendous increase in power. However, for Zephyr who almost felt this always, he didn't paid attention to it as if he was getting used of the sudden increase in power.

'Not that I think about it, I acquired a title earlier related to the gods or something right.'

He then inspected the title he obtained earlier.

[Watched by the Gods]

Rating: Legendary

[You who have caught the of interests of the gods and any other transcendents, a living legend that is qualified to enter the realm of the myths.

* The likelihood of being choosen as a Champion of a God has increased. ]

'Useless.'

Zephyr muttered as he found the title no use at all. Not knowing if it were anyone other than him would see this, they would totally scream in delight for a having the chance of becoming a champion.

The majority among the inhabitants of Tensura, one of their dream is to become a God's Champion as becoming one would obtain a portion of the god's power.

It is to be noted that every god or any transcendents possesses a tremendous power that could not be understand by common sense. However unlike them, Zephyr had no interest of becoming one because for him, it sounded like a slave contract and not a champion.

Letting out a deep breath, Zephyr decided that it's now time to leave Ascalor as after what he had done, he thought that he now currently had nothing to do here and it should be better for him to waste his time in finding the vessel for Hyrkan.

However, there's a problem. Inside the pocket dimension of Ascalor, he doesn't even know how is going to the outside world. From Zephyr's observation, Ascalor is just a simple city and no monsters lived in an area within the secluded dimension.

'I guess it's farewell time huh.'

As if knowing Zephyr's intentions, Eliazar immediately told him how to get out of this place.

"West from here, you will see a place with circle stones formation. There will be guards stationed there so you can ask if you get lost."

"There's a portal in there that will lead you to the outside world. Well if you're interested, we have a special portal that leads to different parts of the continent."

Hearing, Zephyr inwardly thought in his.

'As expected from the Nephilims. It is sure convenient to be a race that uses the power of time and space.'

"Well both of you, feel free to visit us back anytime you want. Remember you two are welcome here in Ascalor."

Eliazar said with a warm smile as he bade farewell to the two legends.

"Thank you very Lord Eliazar."

"Thanks."

Ericson replied with outmost courtesy while Zephyr casually nodded and responded as the two left. They reached the stone formations and Ericson was amazed. They could see the portals that looked like fractures in space or more accurately looked like broken glasses that are floating.

They then asked the guard who was looking at the two humans with curiosity to send them out. The guard responded by telling them to put their hands near the portals and then both of them were sucked into it.

Before they completely disappeared, Ericson thought in his mind.

'Farewell Ascalor.'

•~~~•

Returning back at Hovel Canyon, Zephyr scanned the surroundings. However as they appeared in the middle of the wild, several beasts and monsters appeared at the same time.

Ericson who saw this turned serious as he saw that it numbers above thousands and all of them were all Tier 2 and a level 60+ at that. As he was preparing himself, he heard Zephyr's monotone voice.

"This is perfect."

Without any hesitations, all monsters rushed towards them at the same time with the fastest speed they could get. Seeing that he was surrounded in a short amount of time, Zephyr thought that they are the perfect target practice for his sword arts as the Blitz Thunder Ray appeared in his hands.

[Sword Extremes of Destruction 1st Style, Destructive Elemental Slash.]

The moment Zephyr used the sword arts for the first time, series of explosions were seen as the sword that was surrounded by raging lightning and crimson red flames that sweep all monsters around Zephyr.

None of the monsters remained after being obliterated into nothingness as not even any sign of corpse were seen in the vicinity. As the damage increase by 100% everytime a target dies, it could be said that they were destined to be doomed the moment they stand against him.

In particular, the development of the sword arts was very dazzling. The range changed from being able to distinguish between enemies and allies and to 'in view.' As it was well-known, skills based on 'field of view' had a higher utilization and were rare.

"It is like shooting a Breath!"

Zephyr was reminded by the power of the [Dragon's Breath] that he had used by the time he battled with Eliazar. Of course, it was possible that the full power breath was still vaguely reminiscent of it.

"Amazing!"

Ericson who was watching has his eyes widened after seeing an unbelievable sight. All he could see was that Zephyr held the sword and explosion resounded already.

He did not even manage to see any signs of movement from his sword as the sword of Zephyr moved very fast that it could not be seen by the naked eye. Due to the speed of the slash of Zephyr, none of the monsters who even possessed keen senses were able to detect it and died without knowing.

However, Zephyr didn't felt a sense of joy as he suddenly felt uncomfortable.

[Your body doesn't currently meet the standards required to use the sword arts. There is a greet burden on your body.]

[Resistance failed.]

[You have suffered 4,570,002 damage.]

[All stats will be permanently reduced by 200.]

[Level will be reduced by 1.]

Zephyr was silent for a while and he threw up blood. He gritted his teeth and moved his eyes in every direction. He then mutters after a moment of silence.

"Sure enough, a mortal's body could not possibly handle the strongest sword arts yet."

Looking at his ragged body that was left with sliver of health, he mumbles to himself.

"Maybe I shouldn't use this for a while."

It didn't took long for another notification window to appear.

[The durability of the Blitz Thunder Ray (Epic) has been completely lost and is permanently destroyed.]

The sword in his shattered like a thin piece of a glass as it just like the body of Zephyr unable to endure the tremendous power of the 1st style of the sword arts.

"Yeah. I shouldn't really use this for a while."

Aside from the broken sword, the burden on Zephyr's body was too great. Five seconds had passed and his body might've recovered the minimum physical strength needed for activities but his body didn't move properly. All his joints creaked and his muscles twitched.

Blood is still continuously flowing and his health was still rapidly decreasing because of the bleeding.

(It seems like the law of casualty is so pity that it created a backslash at this scale. It seems like we have to rush making you a transcendent for you to fully utilize the sword arts.)

Hyrkan said with a little bit sad tone seeing his friend is suffering from the massive backslash. It is to be noted that this is just the 1st style yet he is already suffering like this. Hyrkan doesn't want to imagine for the meantime what would happen if Zephyr used the other styles.

Hearing him, Zephyr replied in his monotone voice with zero worry at all.

"I'm fine. This is nothing."
