Zephyr was silent for a while as he process the new information he got. Zephyr took a deep breathe and then looked at the requirement to accomplish the quest.

[Sword Saint]

Difficulty: SSS

Win against a legend.

It was a simple and clear quest, assuming that he could meet a legendary person. But the degree of difficulty was high enough to be described as impossible.

Zephyr was already having a hard time fighting an epic boss much more fighting a legendary one which was two rank higher than an epic.

'Interesting.'

That's right. Rather than grumbling or being disgusted like a regular person, he felt delighted. As Zephyr was in deep thought, a notification appeared.

[The Trial of the Sword Saint has begun!]

Suddenly the walls started falling to pieces and the more pieces that fell, the more clear the view behind the wall. Zephyr could see a shadow of a humanoid figure. There was a pair of wings that were originally bright red in color, but one could see a dark aura that gave off an oppressive evil force slowly corroding the brilliant red color.

Some of the wings had begun to turn black but the red part of the wings seemed suppressing it like it was in constant battle.

Light flashed as it opened its eyes. One of the eye is scarlet red while the other is pitch black.

Zephyr could feel suffocating aura within the atmosphere. However, Zephyr just observed the humanoid figure.

[Demonic Swordsman, Abaddon]

Summary: One of the Legendary Demonic Swordsman in hell. He was once a loyal follower of the Demon God but he was sealed by the followers of the Goddess of Light. As he was in deep slumber, he was released by an unknown power.

Zephyr slowly swept his hair back with his hand and took a deep breath.

"So this guy is the one I'm going to go against. It look very threatening if you ask me."

Zephyr calmly muttered as he took out his Frostlight sword.

'The opponent is a Legendary Boss. I'm sure it's way stronger than the wolf. Seem's like I have to get serious for a while.'

Zephyr's demeanor immediately changed as his gaze became cold. He was not a bit frightened of his enemy.

'The opponent is a legend. The difference in stats is overwhelming, so it will become disadvantageous to me in the long run. I have to finish it quickly.'

Before it could even look at Zephyr, he started his attack towards it. Zephyr used his [Frostlight slash] to the unmoving Abaddon.

Zephyr narrowed his eyes seing how small the damage he had inflicted. Seing it has high defense, Zephyr started to attack Abaddon's arm.

However, after being attacked by Zephyr, Abaddon finally reacted. Blocking Frostlight Sword that aimed for his left side. Zephyr staggered because of the difference in strength but he immediately recovered.

Zephyr was still calm. He wasn't shaken even when faced with the worst situation. Suddenly Abaddon appeared in front of Zephyr with a sword aimed at his neck with just a few inches away. He unconciously bend his leg and neck barely avoiding the attack of the Legendary Demonic Swordsman.

'So fast!'

It was a diagonal attack. It was fast enough to exceed Zephyr's predicted range. Zephyr retreated after barely avoiding it and returned his focus on Abaddon.

Just like before, Abaddon appeared again but Zephyr was now prepared. Zephyr gently deflected the sword that was approaching with enough momentum to split apart his head.

In a 0.1 second gap, Zephyr avoided Abaddon's strike and counterattacked. He didn't need to go through a process of decision making to respond.

From the beginning, Zephyr had no intention of prolonging this fight as that would only lead to his demise. He wanted to get it done as quickly as possible. Therefore, he took a more aggressive offensive. Zephyr's Frostlight Sword drew a neat line and cut at Abaddon's thigh. Blood started to flow from the open wound.

With a small step, Zephyr twisted his body and dodged Abaddon's strike as Zephyr could see as the damage he had dealt was nothing to it.

Zephyr was slightly surprised as the boss started launching combo attacks. Zephyr concentrated to the extreme as he narrowly avoided the attacks.

Abaddon's attack had been like avalanche. Not only they were fast and overflowing with power, they were also fluid. Zephyr calmly retaliated and used the skill from his ring.

[Giant's Strength has been Activated.]

'My strength stat will be 112 for the next five minutes.'

Zephyr didn't hold back as he used [Chop] and [Frost Light Slash] after barely dodging the attacks of abaddon.

Suddenly Zephyr let out a groan. He blocked the sword with Frostlight, but was baffled by the strength behind them. A normal person would've felt sure of their defeat the moment they felt this gap in strength.

He was only able to endure because of using the giants power. Seing thay he managed to endure one of the attack, he remembered the weakened status of the boss.

Zephyr concluded that the system did it to match his stats even the boss possess a little bit higher as it was a legendary boss to begin with.

Zephyr gave up on evading as he focused on attack as the duration of giant strength is about to run out.

Every attack that Zephyr landed on the parts of Abaddon's body weren't covered by an armor.

As Zephyr was continuosly attacking, Abaddon flapped his wing and used it to slash Zephyr.

"Ugh!"

Zephyr wasn't able to react and was hit hard, causing his shoulders to shake. The right arm holding his sword fell into a paralysis state.

Suddenly something wrapped Abaddon's sword as he was about to attack Zephyr. He felt threatened as he look at it.

'Legendary skills!'

He was sure of it as his opponent is a legendary boss even it was weakened to match him.

"Cough!"

Zephyr coughed out blood as he was unable to avoid it as he was still paralyzed. He look at his HP which only has 91 HP left. Zephyr focused as only 1 mistake as it would be over.

He used [Chop] in Abaddon's neck as he took advantage of his momentum who was still about to attack him again.

Suddenly notification appeared in front of Zephyr as some of Abaddons information was finally revealed.

Seing that he only needed few more hits, Zephyr started his counterattack but he did not became careless as he was wary of being killed in only 1 hit.

"It has been five minutes. Let's finish this now."

Zephyr's sword precisely pierced through Abaddon and then unleashed another attacks as he didn't wasted a single second as he was slower than the boss.

The boss was left with only a sliver of HP. Zephyr holds his sword tighter but he did not let the pressure get the better of him. He remained calm making sure he won't repeat his previous error.

Abaddon leap off to the ground and flap his wings. Seing him fly, Zephyr prepared himself. Suddenly, Abaddon began to heavily fall to the ground with the sword pointed at him.

Zephyr did not run away. Before Abaddon's sword reaches him, Zephyr twisted his body as his head barely avoided the blade as he landed an attack and pierced through the chest.

The impact of collision was soon heard as Zephyr was thrown away to the ground.

He didn't suffer the damage from Abaddon but from the impact as he was smashed to the ground as he avoided the incoming wings that was aimed at his head.

Suddenly notification appeared in front of him.

Zephyr took a deep breathe as he saw the notifications. 'It's over.' Mental fatigue started to assault him as he relaxed his focused mind. Zephyr thought that he had completed the quest as he finally beat a legend with all his effort when he is normally lazy to put effort in many things.

"Good thing the system didn't announced that I obtain a legendary class or that will be very troublesome."

Zephyr then looked at his status window.

Zephyr was shocked by the Sword Saint class. His level had fallen to 1 and the skills and stats he worked hard had been reset to the beginning. However, Zephyr didn't care at the level he lost as he could easily gain it again.

Zephyr knew the potential of the Sword Saint compared to a normal swordsman. He was slightly excited as he was the one who obtained it. He also thought that the requirements to obtain the class is so savage as it was very hidden from players.

Not to mention how hard to complete and obtain the class as the player has to fight a legendary boss.

As he was in deep thought, Zephyr remembered that he didn't saw a notification about the boss being killed. His gaze immediately became cold as he became vigilant and look at the boss.
