On a dark place where everything was wrecked due to the constant battle that took place, a person who had a mask on his face while being surrounded by an intense amount of demonic energy was constantly clashing with a demon.

Even 10 seconds had already passed on after Zephyr's transformation, the demon haven't been able to regain his composure. The more he exchanged an attack with Zephyr, the more he felt that he was being overwhelmed.

Well it's no brainer as Zephyr was using both [Sage Arts] and [Hollow] making his power to rise tremendously.

"Impossible! A mere human who is only a Tier 1 is stronger than me?"

Orias roared in frustration as he couldn't accept that Zephyr has became stronger than him. Even he was weakened drastically, he was originally a Tier 4 Legendary Demon Earl, he couldn't accept it no matter what.

More importantly, he was currently a Tier 2 which should be impossible to be overcome by a mere Tier 1. However, Zephyr wasn't listening to any of his loud noises as he slashes the frustrated Orias.

In truth, Zephyr had many trump cards to use even Orias wasn't weakend as he was still confident to beat him even in his full state if he equip the Aetherius Set while also using [Dragonification].

However, as what he had done now was more than enough, he didn't think that [Dragonification] was necessary to use against Orias. Zephyr then casted [Hell Fire] making Orias roared loudly in pain.

Without allowing him to recover, with [Blink] he appeared at the back of Orias as he controlled all five swords and made all swords pierce through. After dealing tremendous damage, Zephyr then fired both [Fire Bolt] and [Lightning Bolt] making the infuriated Orias being unable to move but as Orias was a legendary demon, the stun's duration was reduced.

However, for the current situation it was more than enough. Zephyr recasted numerous [Fireball] and [Lightning Blast] while reusing [Crescent Stream].

As he bombarded Orias, the demon's HP was reduced to mere 15% after suffering from the tremendous damages. Continuous damage notifications appeared in front of Zephyr but he no longer care for it.

"Kkuuk!"

Orias groanned in pain as every attacks of the devil slayer was inflicting him tremendous pain. At first, he thought that this devil slayer being a magic swordsman was interesting.

But now, he wish that Zephyr was only a swordsman. As his swordsmanship was very threathening already, much more was his magic. As Zephyr didn't care what he was thinking, he then immediately used [Lightning Flame Slash] making Orias let out a loud and huge deafening roar.

Zephyr ignored the roar as he focused his mind, a calm aura radiated around him, eyes that were sharp like a knife, as his mind were calculating at the same time.

Zephyr then stabbed Orias but his attack missed as the demon instantly disappeared. Suddenly, Zephyr felt a cold wind in his back.

Zephyr immediately turned his head and saw it was the wounded Orias. Intense demonic power gathered around Orias' claw as he then attack Zephyr.

Zephyr immediately held the Twilight Blade as he clashed with Orias. As his strength had now overwhelmed the demon, Zephyr wasn't even fazed with it.

Orias' HP remained at 3% as his regeneration speed was cut into half. As Zephyr's attacks was also fast, the healing wasn't able to keep up with Zephyr's damage.

"Damn you human!"

Orias cursed Zephyr as he could sense his eminent death. However, he wasn't worried that he might die at all as he would not truly die. He would only disappear in the mortal world and his soul would return to the demon world.

This was common to all demons including the lesser demons that Zephyr had killed before. It was also the reason why demons were feared as they wouldn't truly die if you can't extinguish their soul but destroying a demon's soul isn't simple as a single demon's soul was protected and connected to the demon world itself.

Even if Orias would truly die, he could not accept it no matter what that he would be defeated by a mere Tier 1. Suddenly a sinister plan came to his mind which made the demon viciously smile which didn't escape Zephyr's super sensitivity.

He then shifted his movement as he rotated in circular motion. Suddenly, a burst of intense demonic power surrounded his sharp claw and Orias targeted Zephyr's eyes.

With his attempt of surprise attack, Orias grinned at the thought of making Zephyr suffer from blindness before he could return to the demon world. However, suddenly he heard Zephyr's voice.

"Tch. That was no fun."

Orias eyes widened hearing Zephyr's monotone voice.

"No, no fun."

Bursting fiery flames immediately appeared in his sword as he slashed Orias with [Nova Ascension] as he continued.

"A cheap trick like that...won't work against me."

With those words, Orias' HP drop to zero as he fell to the ground powerlessly. As he still wasn't able to recover from his surprise, a thought came to him as he watched Zephyr who had a mask on him while demonic energy and fire was surrounding him.

'Is he the successor of the Legendary Magic Swordsman Orion?'

In his final moments in the mortal world, he remembered a legend of the past generation who stood and fought side by side with the Sword Saint and Legendary Archmage.

A swordsman who both uses sword and magic at the same and reach the realm of the legend after creating his own way and legend. He then closed his eyes not knowing that he was greatly mistaken as he did not know that Zephyr was the current generation Sword Saint and the Legendary Archmage.

After slashing Orias, notifications appeared jn front of Zephyr.

Watching the stream of notifications, Zephyr nodded as he knew that he gained a lot from this encounter but didn't think much about it as he didn't really care.

Zephyr released both [Sage Arts] and [Hollow] as his mask and sage mode disappeared. He then looked at the earrings that Orias had dropped as he was curious what would be the item drop of that loud demon.

'So his power was related to illusion skills.'

Zephyr thought that it would make sense if that was the case but another question popped into his mind.

'Then why he didn't used another series of Illusion attacks earlier?'

Zephyr wondered not knowing that Orias had underestimated him at first and decided not to use any of his illusion skills on him. However, as the fight continues, Zephyr became troublesome for him which made him cast one of his skills.

But due to the interruption of a certain dragon, Orias didn't use any as he knew it would only be pointless if the dragon inside Zephyr's consciousness would counter every illusion that he casted on Zephyr resulting him to fight Zephyr head on.

'Well, what happened happens.'

Zephyr shrugged the thought off as Tetsuya who watched his master overwhelmed the demon earlier hopped on him and went to hug his head from the back.

Admiration could be seen on the little kyuubi's expression and Zephyr patted him which made Tetsuya delighted. Tetsura's level also rose to level 50 but remained a Tier 1 as his master haven't been able to advance yet.

In Tensura, pets cannot surpass their masters in terms of level and tier. Tetsuya would only became a Tier 2 pet if Zephyr had successfully advance to Tier 2.

Zephyr then glanced at the corpse of Orias that still radiated an intense demonic power. As his soul had already returned to the demon world, it only became an empty shell.

But as a body used on a descent of a Tier 4 Legendary Demon, the power it previously held haven't disappeared. Zephyr then putted his hand on the body as he said in a low voice.

"Devour."

The corpse was absorbed without any resistance by Zephyr. As the predation finished, notification appeared in front of Zephyr.

Zephyr didn't receive any other skills like the first time as he could tell that the system is preventing him from gaining another skill like [Hollow] aside from the increased in his demonic power. However, Zephyr had no complaint as he could sense that he had grown more stronger after absorbing the body.

Finishing his business here, Zephyr decided to return to White Tiger City as he want to find other things that would interest him. Suddenly a thought came to his mind.

'Should I start looking for the vessel of Hyrkan?'

Zephyr didn't forgot his promise to Hyrkan that he would free him. Currently he had no idea where to start as he had no prior informations relating the dragon race of Tensura.

Zephyr decided to ask the Lord of White Tiger City after his return. As Zephyr was about to start moving again, a system announcement appeared.

Zephyr became interested knowing that many players had already reached Tier 1. However, seeing the numbers, he thought it was still too few as the number of player base was billions.

He guessed that these peoples were the so called rankers who were talented and above the other players as all of them started on the same starting point.

He was also interested in the Money Exchange because as far as he knew, it was the function that would allow players to convert real money into gold and vise versa allowing players to enjoy the game better.

For rich people, they could now buy equipments or anything that they liked in Tensura as long as they would have enough money while those who decided to earn in Tensura can now earn in the real world too.

Zephyr guessed that many interesting stuffs was bound to happen in the future as he knew those things called guilds wouldn't sit idle after this announcement.

As he had searched a little bit about virtual reality games, he also saw things like guilds that were fighting for supremacy and wanted to control and monopolize everything inside the virtual world.

Suddenly, another notification appeared which greatly interested him.
