Chapter 12

Zephyr looked at the horde of poison zombies ahead of him. He wasn't worried about the poison affecting him in the first place. As being resistant to abnormal status is a benefit of the legendary class.

Zephyr began moving closer to the group of zombies. When Zephyr arrived, 3 meters away, the poison zombies became aware of him and looked at him.

One of the poison zombies made a strange screeching sound before running with his claws swinging at Zephyr. The other poison zombies also started to attack Zephyr at the same time as he aggroed all of them at once.

Zephyr didn't panic and had an expressionless look on his face. He was faster than the poison zombies with his current agility. Within his eyes, they were moving in slow motion.

Zephyr skillfully evaded all of their attacks before drawing his sword. [Vorpal Destruction].

Zephyr swung his legendary sword, aiming precisely at the neck of the first zombie, followed by hitting half of the poison zombies, which were within the 5 meter range.

Zephyr's Venomous Demon Sword easily sliced through the poison zombies, clearing everything in its path.

It was a swift and fast death to all poison zombies within 5 meters. Zephyr didn't react, even knowing he was deadlier than yesterday. Zephyr was a bit disappointed by the experience as it was far from enough to raise his level.

Suddenly, all the poison zombies attacked Zephyr at the same time. Zephyr dodged all the attacks, but suddenly,

The poison was dispersed into the air as a result of his [Vorpal Destruction], which destroyed the zombies' bodies.

If Zephyr didn't possess a legendary class, he would certainly have trouble completing the abyss trial. No, he would certainly fail in completing the abyss trial.

Suddenly, the Venomous Demon Sword flashed across the poisoned zombie, slicing it. It screeched out of pain as Zephyr's slice was very deep.

Zephyr did not stop as he used the momentum of his attack. He lowered his body and then fully sliced the poisoned zombie into half.

Even if their kin perished, the other poison zombies did not halt their attacks against Zephyr. It was obvious that they would not stop until Zephyr perished, as the undead possessed a deep hatred for the living.

Zephyr easily evaded their attacks as he accurately slashed the remaining poison zombies, leaving nothing behind. Zephyr coldly and mercilessly assaulted the poison zombies.

Due to his high damage, the poison zombies only lasted two hits from him. If it were any other player, they would need more than 40 hits to finish a single poison zombie. Green blood and flesh scattered in all directions.

Zephyr swung his sword through the flesh and lingering blood that clearly contained poison and thrust it into his back.He continued moving forward as he wanted to finish the trial.

Suddenly, the fog gave off a terrible stench, which made Zephyr's eyes narrow as he became vigilant.

Zephyr saw the shadow of a figure ahead. Zephyr stealthily made his way toward it without making a sound, as if his footsteps disappeared.

Zephyr looked at the Dark Warlock, who was clad in a black robe. Due to the dark warlock's high level, he immediately noticed Zephyr and, without wasting a second of being shocked, he waved his hand. Dense black gas seeped out from his sleeve and approached Zephyr in a matter of seconds.

He waved his sword at the dark warlock and used [Vorpal Destruction]

The shield made of black magic, which absorbed all the damage, was broken. Zephyr didn't let the opportunity pass as he slashed his sword at the surprised dark warlock.

As he waved his sword, the motion resembled a crescent moon as he cut the shoulder and the dark energy covering the dark warlock's body.

The dark warlock was surprised as he was cut even though he used his black magic to cover his body to have a defense and to protect him. He could not believe that he was sliced easily like butter.

Sword Saint, the strongest legendary combat class. The reason is that there is nothing a Sword Saint can't cut. No matter what defense the target has, a Sword Saint will always cut the target.

Brutal wounds started to appear on the body of the dark warlock as Zephyr didn't stop his attack, seeing the target now have many openings. He unleashed one attack after another, making the dark warlock scream in pain as his blood scattered around.

The dark warlock groaned a little bit as the sword appeared. It was like a streak of lightning. If he had been a little less vigilant, he wouldn't have been able to deploy the shield on time.

He immediately cast an illusion spell on Zephyr as he wanted to pay back the humiliation he had received.

But again, his effort was in vain as he was not powerful enough to bypass the resistance of the legendary class. As time passed by, his shock and anger only grew as he looked at Zephyr.

A sword pierced through his chest. Zephyr did not care about what the dark warlock would feel as he was designated as the boss in his trial.

But suddenly, the dark warlock, who was about to pass out, revealed a cold smile. He clenched his fist as he launched a punch at Zephyr's face.

However, even though he punched Zephyr at an unexpected moment, Zephyr just easily avoided it as his super sensitivity was ringing for danger. Zephyr slashed the neck of the dark warlock, whose face was still filled with disbelief.

Zephyr then proceeded, ignoring the corpse he had easily dispatched.He is still muttering something about why this trial, called the hardest, was so easy so far.

What he overlooked were the factors of his legendary class and legendary sword, which upset the balance because they should not have appeared in the early stages of the game.

Both factors are unbalanced because they have tremendous strength that could bridge the gap between Zephyr and his enemies.Zephyr then looked at his loot.

Zephyr tossed the necklace into his inventory as he could not use it. Zephyr kept clearing his path to the end of the trial.It took him 20 minutes to clear out all the skeletons and poison zombies.

It originally should not have taken him long, but he decided to play it safe as he didn't want his efforts to end up in vain. While clearing the mobs on his way, Zephyr managed to obtain many potions.

Cooldown Time: 1 Minute.]

It may not be much to Zephyr, whose HP surpasses 2000, but to other players whose HP are still within 100+, it is a very useful item.

As Zephyr was moving forward, his eyes landed on a lone skeleton who wore an armor unlike the tattered clothes of the ones he encountered. His eyes narrowed as he viewed the stats of the monster.

Zephyr stared at the tall Skeleton Knight before him. His expression was still relaxed and even a little excited.

'That's more interesting,' he said, a slight smile on his face.

'I've been killing weak monsters all day, and I've finally met a boss who has high defense and HP,' Zephyr thought to himself excitedly. The Venoumous Demon Sword gradually appeared in his left hand.

Seeing Zephyr, the Skeleton Knight swung the blade in his hands suddenly as he charged. The Skeleton Knight used Charge as it rushed at Zephyr. Zephyr didn't show any weakness as he also charged ahead, but he wasn't as quick as the Skeleton Knight.

Just as Zephyr was about to clash with the Skeleton Knight, Zephyr bounced off the ground with one foot as he sidestepped to the right before using a somersault, immediately switching directions before slashing ferociously at the Skeleton Knight.

The skeleton knight lifted its right hand and placed it across its flank as it prepared to parry Zephyr's attack. If it retained its instinct when it's alive, it wouldn't just sit around to be chopped down.

A thought flashed across Zephyr's mind.

'You can probably block a basic attack, but that doesn't mean you can block my skill.'

[Vorpal Destruction]

'So much damage has been reduced,' Zephyr thought unhappily, as his damage should be at 10,000+.

The Skeleton Knight didn't crash to the ground like he had imagined. Instead, it rolled across the floor and right to its feet.

"Well, it won't be fun if it is easy."

Zephyr revealed a cold glare as he was wondering how long he would take to finish the tanky boss in front of him. Anticipation filled his eyes as he knew the boss wouldn't be a punching bag like the others.
