46 Countries in the Ruth empire
The Ruth empire was one of the weakest empires on the human continent. Even if it was one of the weakest it still operated like every other empire. Every empire did not really care what happened inside of its borders. It will only react when a country tried to defect to other empire or establish independence or destabilize the situation in the whole empire. Every other act did not really matter because the only thing that it will do is to sharpen the experts of the empire from the different countries. Wars happened all the time. A lot of people died. Experts manifested from those wars and that's how the world operated. One of such wars was going to happen on the lands of the Alexander's country. Two of its neighbours were planning to seize part of its territory. The operation was prepared for a couple of years. It was a secret operation that should have made a devastating blow to the already weak Alexander's country. It could even be the beginning of the end for this weak country. At least it was the plan. The two neighbours were the Eldoria and Valeria countries. Eldoria was also a level one country. It was on the level of Alexander's country. Valeria country was a weak level two country. A little stronger than its two neighbours. It was one of the reasons for its grand ambitions to try and attack the weakest countries. After some deliberation it was decided to Attack Alexander's country because of its geographical location. It was a big territory that had a sea line. It was a big advantage. After getting the support of Eldoria country they were ready for a combined attack. Alexandria, the capital of Alexander's country was located deep in the territory of the country and was not really easy to attack. It was well defended by the mountains from one side and by the sea from another. Because of that it was decided to attack Manchester city. It was a city that was close to the border of both countries, and it could be a good point to attack and later have a camp for the soldiers to attack the other cities in this country. Both sides decided to take around ten thousand soldiers at the first level of the knight apprentices with a few hundreds of commanders at higher levels to form a combined force. Even some knights and mage apprentices decided to join the attack. It was not a small army. A force of ten thousand people was nothing to scoff at. It was not easy to raise knight apprentices. I will not talk about the commander level figures. Those were the true elites of each country. A loss of a knight or a mage apprentice will be noticeable and could not be replaced in a short amount of time.
In Manchester not a lot of people were on a level of a knight apprentice. In this city of around 200 hundred thousand people only one thousand were on a level of knight apprentice or higher. Being attacked by an army of ten thousand with commanders on a higher level will be a disaster. The one thousand knight apprentices of the city were mostly adventurers. In terms of army. There were only around 400 knight apprentices in this city.
When Max was getting back to the gaming club he heard sounds of fighting. He frowned. He did not really understand what was going on. Getting a few thugs asses handed to them was one thing but a mass attack was something else. When he saw what was going on he lost his shit.
It was a zero to hero losing it. He saw two groups of soldiers in a blue and purple colours killing everyone around them. He knew that the soldiers of Alexander's country were wearing a green battle outfit. They enemy soldiers did not care about commoners or nobles. He saw a husband getting his private parts get cut off in front of his wife while she was getting raped by a few soldiers in a raw before brutally killed. It was just one of the few scenes that he saw. People were treated just like animals. The soldiers that killed and slaughtered were also acting like animals. Nothing really changes when you give petty people a little bit of strength. Screams and wails of citizens could be heard and battle cries of soldiers in tandem from both sides. It was just a slaughter ground. And Max's side was not winning. He understood that he will not be able to talk with those guys that were attacking. He had to try and help to hold this city. If he could not do it, he will just run. He was strong but in a war, you could not win solo. It was simple. He was no superhero. He put all of the gold armor he could get and went fast towards his store while killing every enemy he could. His golden armor and sword got a lot of attention and a lot of people tried to attack him but all of them died. Max did not really used special skills because he tried to save energy. He understood that the fight will be long. His mission now was to get to the gaming club and see that the little brat Rey and Derek were ok. He wanted to try and save the children in the church. When he got to the gaming club he saw a big battle raging. He saw a lot of adventurers from the adventurers guild gathered near his gaming club and fighting a few of the enemy soldiers. The guild leader Felix was also there. He was the one that brought all those people here. His thoughts were simple. If he will get and fight with boss Max then the chances of him and his men surviving increased by a lot. Derek was also in a bronze armor fighting and killing soldier after soldier. He was shouting battle cries before beheading one of the enemy troops and then cutting the legs of another while evading a hit. His armor was deformed in a few places and some blood leaked from some of those places but he was ok in general.
Felix was very happy to see Max. He screamed: "Boss Max! Is good that you are ok! Together I think we could defend ourselves."
Felix knew that it was Max because Max showed him part of the weapons and armors that he could get with time. Max nodded in reply and asked: "Where is the little brat?"
Felix lowered his head and said: "The kid is hurt. He took too much damage when he tried to defend the church. Poor child. He is still alive, but he is weak, I'm not sure if he will survive or not."
Max demeanour changed. "Where is this little stupid shit?!??!" He roared. He was mad. Generally mad. He did not do anything to anyone, and some motherfuckers came and hurt his student and maybe even killed him and hurt his business and were also trying to kill him. He was losing it.
When he saw Rey, he was shocked. The kid was bloodied, with a lot of cuts. His hand was almost chopped off Max did not understand how the kid did not die yet. He was almost gone.
Max tried to keep his cool and asked the system: 'system the health potions from the goblin's crypt will work on this kid? Do they work here? Will the healing be like in the simulation?'
'Yes, it will be. If you want the kid to survive you need to feed the kid now.' The system said.
Max did not wait. He fed Rey a lot of elixirs. The kid was half dead. Because they were designated for warrior level figures the effect was very swift. All of the different wounds closed. Max did not know if it was enough or not, so he fed the kid a couple more flasks. until he saw that there was nothing more to heal. After that he put the kid in the gaming club in one of the capsules and closed it. The system told him that now it is up to the kid. He lost a lot of blood and now it was a question of time to see if he would survive.
After Max got out to the gaming club he looked at the battle that happened outside of his gaming club. There were a lot of adventurers here. Felix and Derek also did a lot of work and this space was generally safe. All the enemy troops that came here died after a short amount of time.
Max looked at the surroundings. His eyes were bloodshot. He was raging so much that he was trembling. He did not feel so much rage ever. NEVER. He gathered his breath and he amplified it with his knight and magic powers and bellowed: "Get ready to DIE! YOU STUPID MOTHER FUCKERS!!!"
After this scream that caused a lot of people to tremble because there was huge amount of rage and even insanity within this shout. It was very loud, and people got the point that some powerhouse was not happy. After that Max ran forward and started a rampage!
