*TLDR of changes*

I just changed elf king to elf queen as it was incorrect, whoopsie XD.

Ever since she had seen that boy in class her mood was terrible.

And he was even smiling and joking around as if nothing was wrong.

Anna couldn't confront him before because of the teacher, however, now that they were on the training field she was looking for him.

When she finally found him he was laying down on the grass hugging his rapier.

"Hey!" she called out to him.

However, he didn't stir.

His brows seemed to scrunch up and he turned over onto his side.

As Anna was about to call him again she heard a commotion from somewhere nearby.

Looking over she saw a boy with dark black hair and green eyes being shoved to the ground by a boy with brown eyes and brown hair.

If she remembered correctly his name was Aaron Earheart.

A small group of people had formed around him as they laughed at the boy being pushed.

Anna looked around for a teacher but Valeria was nowhere to be seen.

"Heh, look at this kid swinging his sword around like a moron." came the drawling voice of Aaron.

"Your rank 400 what could you possibly accomplish by swinging your sword around," said Aaron, sending a kick at Luke.

"Hey!" yelled Anna at Aaron.

"What?" he asked her as she stomped up to them.

"Why are you picking on him when he can't even fight back?" she asked angrily.

Aaron stopped for a second and genuinely thought about her question.

And the answer he arrived at was.

"Because I can?" he said.

This seemed to only fuel Anna's anger more as she raised her sword and was about to attack him.

Aaron also got into position.

However, before they could, someone clapped their hands.

"Truly spectacular, have you thought about taking up theater?" came a cheerful voice.

Turning her head she saw Isaac walking up to them.

"Aaron, buddy… ignore this girl."

"I know her, she has some mental issues so let's just break this up alright?" Isaac asked with a big smile.

"After all it wouldn't reflect well if you beat up someone with mental issues, right?" he said, putting his hand on Aaron's back in order to lead him somewhere else.

Aaron nodded slightly as he looked at the crowd of women forming around them.

As the class held a majority of men and they were busy waving around their weapons like they were toys it was mostly girls who were around.

Anna felt her anger towards Isaac grow even more.

"Hey! Where are you going?" she yelled after him.

However, Isaac turned around and flashed her a look that said to shut up.

Turning around in a huff, Anna went over to the boy who was being beaten.

"Are you okay?" she asked him gently, reaching out her hand to help him up.

However, the boy slapped her hand away and stood up on his own.

"I'm fine," he muttered and stalked off.

Anna stood there in disbelief.

Why are all boys terrible?!?

As Isaac made his way back to class he couldn't help but sigh in relief.

If Aaron had gotten hurt then things would have been bad.

After all, he needed to bully the protagonist in order for the protagonist to grow up.

Sitting down at my desk, I fiddled with the bracelet on my arm.

We had been given a small subspace of around 5 cubic meters to store our MSM and school supplies in.

Our next lesson was 'Mana Monsters and their Properties'.

Just the name made me want to fall asleep.

And so fall asleep I did.

Whoops.

I slept peacefully until I was woken up forcefully.

"Mr. Moreau, could you perhaps enlighten us on why Monsters rarely produce cores?" came the voice of the teacher, Arthur Recinos.

"Huh?" came out of me.

A few chuckles went up in the classroom.

"Mr. Moreau if you had been paying attention you would know that we were talking about the properties of monster cores. So perhaps do you know the answer?" he asked again, his gaze penetrating through me.

"Umm… because some monsters absorb an abnormal amount of mana in the womb, so the excess mana forms a core which absorbs more mana throughout its life cycle," I answered before laying my head in my hands.

"Correct!" he beamed at me, surprised that I answered correctly.

As I was about to fall asleep he asked me again.

"Do you perhaps know the uses for the F-Rank monster Horned Boar's hide?" he asked.

"No," I answered immediately.

I did actually know since this question was asked of the protagonist however it was material from a few lessons ahead so I didn't want to stand out too much.

"Professor, I know!" came the voice of Luke.

Tuning out their conversation I went back to sleep.

As the class finished I got up from my seat and began dragging myself out.

However, I stopped.

Emilia hadn't moved.

According to the novel Emilia was supposed to leave the class and in the hallway, she accidentally bumps into Aaron which causes him to think it was Luke and he beats him up.

But she wasn't moving.

As I saw Luke leaving the classroom I began moving as well.

However, I didn't notice the pair of eyes following my back.

As I made my way through the throng of people in the hallway, I saw Luke and Aaron up ahead.

Slipping past people, I made my way near them.

As Luke stopped to tie his shoe like in the novel, I pushed past Aaron.

As Aaron turned around he saw Luke who had just gotten up and shoved him against the wall.

This encounter was important as it would cement Luke's resolve to grow stronger.

Silently slipping away I made my way to the shuttle.

As the shuttle drove towards the next stop I couldn't help but admire how large the island was.

The island was split into sectors.

The residential sector was where the housing units were.

The academic sector which had the academy and all its facilities.

And the so nicknamed 'Mad Forest' as anyone who went there was definitely crazy.

Right now I was heading to the library which was located in the academic sector.

As the shuttle arrived at my stop I got off and began walking toward a massive building made out of reinforced glass.

It was to prevent a fire from spreading and destroying the books.

Walking in I was stopped by a guard and had to present my student ID.

As I made my way inside I couldn't help but be taken aback by the number of books in there.

Large lacquer shelves made of special materials held the various different books.

As I made my way between the winding bookshelves my hand trailed over the spines of a few of them.

Making my way through the library I pulled out a book on handling weapons.

I then pulled out some books that caught my interest.

'Classification Of Magic'.

'Mana Engineering For Dummies'.

'Physics Analysis: The Effects of Mana On Pangea's Gravity.'

Those were just some of those that I took.

While I had a varied interest in these subjects seeing as I was in my own novel, these were important as I was probably currently behind everyone else in terms of these subjects.

Finding a table for myself I sat down and flipped through the first book.

It contained a bunch of stuff I didn't know nor did I understand but I still tried my best.

Acceleration Type Magic - Acceleration Particles:

Acceleration Magic involves accelerating or decelerating the target, hence its name. A Mage can also use personal Acceleration Magic, allowing him/her to move at speeds surpassing human limits. Acceleration Magic directly alters the inertia of an object. Consider this as changing the momentum of a moving object.

Weight Type Magic - Weight Particles:

Weight Magic involves the weight of objects, reducing or increasing them. It can help reduce the gravitational pull and allow for jumps that travel 100 yards. or allow a punch that otherwise would have caused minimal damage, to triple in power simply by increasing its weight.

Movement Type Magic - Acceleration + Weight Particles:

Movement Magic involves altering an object's velocity and path. Through Movement Magic, an object can change directions or completely stop in its tracks. The difference between Movement Magic and Acceleration Magic is that Movement Magic does not affect the inertia of an object. If an egg were subjected to only Movement magic, it would break itself apart because of the inertia inside the egg even though it has technically stopped moving.

Oscillation Type Magic - Vibration Particles:

Oscillation/Vibration Magic involves the vibration of targets. Waves can be produced, controlled, and dampened with this magic. Temperature change can also be achieved through this by forcibly increasing or reducing the vibration at the molecular level of the target.

Domain Type Magic - Space Particles:

Domain Magic involves selectively isolating targets within a target area. It can create a space where carbon dioxide gathers in the center, while all other gasses are pushed out, for example.

Elemental Type Magic - Elemental Particles:

Elemental Magic involves the manipulation of Elemental Particles such as Air, Fire, Water, Earth, Light, and Darkness. Elemental Particles involve the transmission of different types of energy and are arguably the most common Particles as they can be found attached to almost all other Particles.

Psyche Type Magic - Psyche Particles:

Mind Magic affects the psyche through the manipulation of Psyche Particles.

It involves the sensory system as well as the conscious and subconscious.

It is a dangerous Magic to use as it can oftentimes cause backlash to the user.

Perception:

Perception Type Magic: ESP (Extra Sensory Perception) Using Perception Type Magic you can tap into Mana Wavelengths and see Mana Waves.

Non - Systematic:

Non - Systematic Magic interferes directly with Raw Mana and bypasses the Avatar and Mana Particles.

It is used for Spells that require no Particle use and only Mana.

An example of a Non-Systematic Magic Spell is [Mana Diffusion]

[Mana Diffusion]

This spell causes the Mages Avatar to overload causing their Mana to Explode.

Dispersion - Non-Systematic:

Dispersion Magic interferes with the movement and interaction of Particles

Unknown:

Magic Spells that involve unknown or not researched Particles and usages.

Anti Particles:

Particles with negative molecules that reject other Particles, cannot coexist with the other particles and whenever they come in contact the Particles die however its only known harvestable form is a crystal of Anti Particles that lies on the ice planet of the Giants and Merpeople

There is a small amount available that has been bought from the other races.

Innate Magic:

Similar to a superpower or ability it is not a spell and can be used without an MSM.

Closing the book and rubbing my bleary eyes, I flipped open a book about a footwork technique for the rapier as I already knew all that stuff about mana after all I had invented it.

As I was reading I noticed a familiar cascade of white hair off to the side.

Turning my head I saw Lucia picking books off a shelf.

As I watched her, she seemed to struggle with a book that was too high up.

As I watched her attempt to reach it, I sighed.

I'm not going to do it.

Nope.

No.

"Here," I said as I pulled it off the shelf for her.

'....'

"Thank you," she said, turning around to look at me.

"Ah, you are the boy who sits next to me. Isaac wasn't it," she said, holding out her hand for a handshake.

However, I stuck the book in her outstretched hand and walked back to my seat.

I should never shake her hand at all costs.

That handshake was very intentional and I wanted to be as far away from it as possible.

Elf Royalty had an Innate Magical Ability that allowed them to peer into the souls of someone.

I hadn't really elaborated on it when writing the novel, so I don't know what exactly she could see and I don't want her to find out something she shouldn't know.

"Excuse me," she said eloquently as she slid into the seat across from me.

"Not interested," I said as I flipped to the next page.

There was no reason for me to keep up pretenses in front of her as she would easily see through it.

Being Elven royalty she would undoubtedly have had to learn the political games of nobles and would easily see through a fake smile.

Her pointy ears twitched slightly however her smile didn't fade.

"Perhaps we got off on the wrong foot, I'm Lucia Bellerose," she said, extending her hand once more.

"I'm aware," I answered, flipping to the next page.

This time her eye twitched.

"I'm sorry, but did I do anything to offend you?" she asked, a slight edge to her tone.

Sighing, I closed my book before looking up at her.

"That's an interesting book you're planning to read. If I'm not mistaken it's written in Fae." I said.

"Oh, this?" she said, turning around and grabbing the book.

However, when she turned back around I was long gone and on my way out of the library.

I could hear a muffled scream in the background.

However, it must have just been my imagination.

Slightly picking my ear with my pinky I whistled as I checked out my books and left.
