7 Vas

"Legendary origins?"

"I am of a race compared to that of the Legendary Dragon and Phoenix, the world once called us ' The Kraken ' " The girl said, puffing her chest with pride.

The boy, already confused with all that was happening was shocked to know that what he was taught in high school was wrong. Humans were not the only other race than demons. To top that off, those things people called 'myths and legends' might actually be true! He bites his index finger, letting the blood flow down the tablet.

The previous writings flickered away as they vanished and new writings could be seen.

[ In the vast place that this world offers, everything follows a single rule.

Everything that starts will eventually end, just like every being that is born has already been bestowed an ending.

First the gods, then the **********, the ****, the ****** and then us… The Humans.

We have long since known this world has evolved into something that was not supposed to occur…

The day he remembers everything will be the day of judgement or for us. It would be the apocalypse, the cycle that was once stopped and even suppressed will now ********* in the form of a *******… *** *******…

This world shall face the wrath of him, the Ender of Eras! ]

"…"

"What the hell is this?"

Half of the things were blurred, like being covered in a fog so thick that one would lose their way.

"Well, it doesn't matter, it's just rubbish anyways~" The young kraken said in an embarrassed tone, moving her eyes around the place.

She made herself comfortable as she sat on a sofa nearby, one of the tentacles behind her moved towards the kitchen, bringing out a dried fish from the kitchen.

"Anyways, my name is Sara, the last princess of the Kraken race. You?" She asked, completely ignoring that they had been at each other's throat just a while ago,

"My name is Caedes, someone you just tried to kill and also someone who is now your master." Caedes said, a smirk on his face.

The girl stood up abruptly, her hair covering most of her hair.

"H-hey! What are you doing? I was just kidding. I am sorry? N-No no don't come near me or I'll run!" Caedes stuttered as he kept on stepping away from the girl subconsciously.

A few moments later a boy could be seen standing with the support of a door. Sara was standing in front of him. She raised her head, letting the boy take in the sadistic expressions he had given birth to.

Moving her hand towards the boy, she grasped his neck while dragging him outside.

Deep inside this abysmal ocean, in the shadows of the night, a boy had been buried alive as he kept on struggling and screaming his lungs out.

In front of the grave was a young lady that kept on laughing hysterically, having fun at the miseries of the boy, a scene so beautiful yet so scary…

It was better to die than to be tortured like this, unfortunately though… Death was that dream in his life which couldn't be fulfilled.

As the boy struggled for a long time, trying to get himself out of this grave. He felt his surroundings change as a darkness darker than black consumed his body, it seemed that the 24 hours had been over.

Opening his eyes he found himself in a place he was most familiar with, a classroom.

What was surprising though was that the whole place was submerged in water, just like the lost city of Atlantis.

The place looked like it had been inside the ocean for a few decades as he could see fishes swimming all around him.

In front of him was a white wall with a large curtain placed on it, the curtain although looked ordinary, was in fact a monitor.

He was currently standing at the back, glancing at the maple desks and oaken walls that had worn out due to the years of abuse. Algae was all around the place as the ground had almost turned green.

'It must be related to Sara, after all she said that she is a sea creature regardless of what race she is.' Caedes thought as he swam around the place like a fish swimming in the sea.

He moved towards one of the windows and found them closed, glancing at the outside though, he found that only his room was filled with all this water and moss.

He tried to pull open the window when a circular orb appeared a few meters away from him. With a peculiar shine, the orb was placed still over the wooden bench as it defied gravity.

Walking over, Caedes took small steps towards the middle of the room while cautiously looking around. Chill creeped over his shoulders when the orb suddenly neared him, urging him to stop in his tracks.

The boy stood there, frozen as he locked his glance with the ball of grey.

The boy moved his hands forward, grabbing the grey sphere firmly. With eyes full of curiosity, he moved his face closer to the ball when a jolt of current hit him.

Opening his eyes again, Caedes could see Sara already kneeling beside him while a black shadow loomed over them.

"W-who ar-are you?" Caedes stuttered as he struggled to move back.

"I am what you people call the administrator. The one who gives you the destined name of yours in this Ancient god's realm."

"Name? Uhh, I have seen a lot of people who use weird names to address themselves… Is this related to it?" Caedes thought while taking a glance at the girl.

"What name did you get?"

"I got the name Valery."

Caedes just nodded while thinking deeply about how a new name would benefit hiding his identity.

"I am sure the news would have spread in Egypt and all the children would have also returned.

People think I am dead and it should be kept that way, I can't have people know about me being alive or God knows what experiments they may do with my body." Caedes grumbled as he thought of what name he would receive.

His glance moved towards the orb in the shadows disfigured hands which he had seen before.

The shadow, as if reading his thoughts, nodded while adding, "This orb helps me find the name you are destined to and your bloodline type.

It loosened its grasp on the orb when it flew over to Caedes. As if feeling an instinctive urge to touch it, he grasped the orb with his two hands while observing it carefully.

"Vas."

The administrator exclaimed, taking a few steps back, his eye now more like pin holes-
