3 Beg-

One of them turned behind to see that chains were being formed from the blood that had been spilled by the barrel around the basement. As these chains sped towards the group, they all had the same thought in their mind-

' Damn- We poked the wrong nest... "

One of the boys hurriedly brought out a coin-shaped object with a button and clicked on it.

The button, on being pressed made the whole coin glow and started floating in the air while it rang with loud siren noises, Raphael on seeing that Oslo had actually alerted the others, panicked as his face turned as pale as white.

"Fly, Thunderbird!" He exclaimed as he hugged the blue bird's large body tight.

The Thunderbird flew into the sky when a blood chain followed their trail. Tying itself around the bird's legs, making it unable to fly higher.

Stuck in the air, it flapped its wings against the wind, screeching in pain as it felt the feather around its talons damage, but to no avail could the bird break free from the clutches of the chain.

Raphael, who was on its back, was terrified at the thought of him ending as a dead meat. Fear clouded his judgement as he jumped upwards, using the bird's body as support when two white wings clad in thunder sprouted out from his back.

They fluttered apart as he jumped two feet into the air, looking below him, he found that the chains had actually stopped chasing him.

It seemed that the chain that was supposed to target him had decided to eliminate the nearest enemy that was the boy fighting on the ground.

In between all of this, Samuel was nowhere to be seen, it was as if he had run away?

Two more chains started forming when an electric bulb inside the basement lit up. It was like the place had been washed in blood-

Samuel who was supposed to be fighting with the golem down there awakened the gift of invisibility, making it easy for him to escape. This, however, led to all the chains diverting its attention to him.

Raphael fluttered his wings hard, trying his best to make distance from them.

He flew zig-zag, trying to confuse the chains when two more chains started coming towards him.

A lightning field of around 5 metres spread around with him at the centre as the blood chains broke just as they entered the lightning range.

"Hahahaha..." Raphael started laughing as he turned around, trying one last time to kill Caedes.

He had lost all reasoning this time, except that he had to kill the boy.

Samuel who had turned invisible for so long suddenly appeared behind Caedes with a summoned golem by one of the other boys by his side. The Golem along with Samuel punched him together on the back of his head.

Caedes' body flew at tremendous speeds as he crashed into the debris of the underground compartment.

Caedes growled intensely as he clutched his head, stunned by the attack.

Raphael called out to Samuel with an aggravated voice as he glared at him intensely.

"What took you so long? If you would have run, I would have made sure to treat you 'nicely'."

"I-It's not like tha-that Raph..ael! It's just that fear clouded my mind as I subconsciously tried to move away but I came back to launch an attack on him and even helped you!" Samuel stuttered as he spoke nervously.

"I'll decide what to do with you later. Let me deal with him first!"

"Now then, let the game begin!"

Golden light covered his body with engravings as his eyes glowed golden.

The place turned eerily silent as the sound of ragged breathing could be heard near the debris Caedes was thrown into.

" Lightning Descent. " Raising his finger upwards, he muttered in a solemn voice as everything around them suddenly came to a stop,

Rumble

The whole place was illuminated as a thundering sound was heard as the whole underground compartment shook intensely.

A bolt of lightning cut open a wide hole on the roof of the apartment as it struck Caedes.

"Aaahhh!"

Caedes screamed loudly, his body convulsed. The boy smashed his body around the walls and debris but to no avail did the pain recede, his body had already been burnt severely without even being able to be identified.

Only after what felt like screams of eternity did Caedes look at how he was all a bloody mess, his body unable to move.

As the smell of iron pervaded the surroundings, the boy teleported beside Caedes. Bending to the height of Caedes, he brought his dagger while pointing at the boy's figure.

For the first time in his life did Caedes have this feeling…This feeling of death. He always felt empty and even had suicidal thoughts a few times but this was the first time he felt fear. The fear of death.

"Beg."

Gulping the imaginary saliva down his throat. Caedes did something that made his entire being tremble, something he had no choice but to do...to live. Something that his conscience would never let.

He begged.

Unfortunately, his eyes shown with a wronged light, Caedes had realised that this was Raphael's plan all along. Raphael slit the boy's throat, as if his words of plea never even mattered as he smiled at the dying boy.

"Try begging now, oh great Caedes."

As the last of light faded from his eyes, Caedes couldn't stop staring at Raphael. If there was another chance, if he could turn his life back. He, for the first time, wanted to kill someone!

Caedes' heart stopped beating.

"There is something we don't know about the genes Caedes had, either the reports were wrong or it might even be related with his origins. There must be a piece missing that we do not know of...

I wonder of the fortune I'll receive if I were to be able to discover anything about his genes... " A sword appeared in front of him, hovering in the air.

Lifting his hand, Raphael grabbed the sword, wildly bringing it down at the boy.

A huge wound opened in Caedes' chest as Raphael continued slashing the boy.

What a shame, there's no blood... It seems all his blood has evaporated because of the lightning bolt...

"Raphael, hurry! Three people have just entered our 50 kilometre perimeter, I believe it's the headmaster along with some others because Oslo had pressed the emergency button. "

Raphael's face turned pale as he hurriedly stood up and glanced at the place, he passed Samuel a zip lock bag and ropes to pack Caedes inside, while also ordering him to run towards the seashore and dump his body deep into the sea.

Samuel nodded as he walked towards Caedes and wrapped him inside the bag and ran towards the other exit of the compartment that led them towards the seashore.

"Just go and dispose of his body as soon as possible, I'll be arriving soon after I erase all the necessary evidence of our arrival by my lightning attacks!!! " Raphael ordered, to which the boy nodded hurriedly and exited the place.

In just a few minutes Samuel could be seen running on the soft sand under the moonlight as he ran towards the ocean, a blue locket flew out of his pocket as it enveloped his body in blue light.

His body started levitating in the air as he flew towards the ocean.

A while later, Samuel could be seen floating in the air, in the middle of the ocean, hugging a black bag with both hands.

Opening the zip lock bag, he dropped Caedes into the ocean with guilt clouding his reasoning. He knew that what they did was wrong but he did not have enough power to revolt against Raphael, this is also why Raphael can control him and the other guys so easily.

After all, who would put up a fight against a noble's child, especially someone as strong as Raphael.
