5 A girl?

A strange glint flashed past its octopus eyes as it glanced at the abnormal regeneration of the boy's body.

"If that's what you want." A maddened voice was heard in Caedes' ears.

After all, the only reason any creature integrated with a human was either because they wanted to evolve or just like how they are able to use some of its powers, the beast were also able to gain intelligence from them.

The octopus appeared in front of him while swinging one of its tentacles at the back of the boy with full force, resulting in the boy's upper body blasting into a mess of blood and flesh.

The octopus stopped moving its tentacles as it waited for the boy to recover.

"Ohhh. I understand now! Instead of beating you hard and waiting for you to heal, I'll just beat you enough so you don't die..."

Countless tentacles rose and started smashing him around, playing with his body like a volleyball.

"That's not the real reason, is it? You can't have me die after all- It seems to me that we have bonded, haven't we?"

After all, as long as two beings have the same affinity and their blood comes in contact, they can integrate. However what shocked Caedes was that until now, he was never able to tame a beast... This time, he integrated easily..?

If that wasn't enough, most of the beasts didn't have enough intelligence to be a threat to humans, that's one of the main reasons that beasts weren't considered a race. But if that were true then who was this octopus that could defy the laws of this world. In fact, even after integration, a beast can't learn how to understand and speak human tongue this easily!

'Is this also related to these blood powers?'

"This is the major problem behind the integrating system, as long as the two beings have the same affinity and their blood comes in contact; they'll be integrated!" Caedes' lips curled as he spoke in a smug tone.

"So basically, you are now my slave, Aren't you?"

"YOU-!!!" The tentacles attacking him started moving faster and turned fiercer as if to show that the octopus was angry.

For 30 minutes, the boy could be seen tossed all around the ocean.

He knew that the creature wouldn't try to kill him because when a beast and human bond, to protect the safety of the weaker race; a rule had been placed. If the weaker race dies, the stronger one hs a higher chance of a backlash or even dying.

The stronger their bond, the weaker the punishment. This rule was placed to maintain peace among the two races and avoid clashing between each other.

Although it was still a mystery about if he wanted to live or not, it was not like he had a choice…

His body could mysteriously heal and he could hurt whatever that comes in contact with him. He didn't think about it much but now that it came to his mind, he felt remorseful.

What would happen next? Would he go to the land and risk the lives of innocent people who didn't even do anything wrong? NO! He would first learn to control these powers of his and then he would never use them.

Especially this power related to touch… Why? It just didn't go with his morals… He didn't want to lose control and kill anyone ever.

'Couldn't the administrator help me with knowing my powers? It's stated that after 24 hours of integrating with a beast or awakening your bloodline, we are bestowed upon a trial that decides an individual's status in The grave of Gods.

I guess it's the best option I have right now, I should enter the Ancient God's realm!' Caedes thought,

In this world, a person could enter the ancient god's realm only through 3 ways. Humans are said to be descendents of God's and can often tap into their ancestral bloodlines. Another way is to use the god's essence. Although humans never found a fully intact corpse of a god, bloodlines can be extracted from their remains with which you can evolve your bloodline. Either that or they bond with a beast, however a beast can only enter the realm if they bond with a Human. This is the major reason because of which the balance between the two races has still been maintained.

"You don't have the will to live… Why?" It asked Caedes as the creature felt what its new bond felt. Confused as everyone it had seen in their last moments had the same fear… The fear of death.

"Neither do you have the will to live, otherwise you wouldn't be blatantly killing me… Your master and also your bond." The boy spoke with a fake smile, seemingly trying to dodge the question.

Seeing that he was being dragged somewhere, Caedes followed her without complaints as he really did not have the strength to do anything.

In one of the deepest parts of the ocean, a huge floating house made out of coral reef could be seen as it showed its exquisite beauty to the world.

"Umm, if you don't mind me asking… How the heck does your mighty self-plan to enter this small house?

Not that I care but you see that house looks quite beautiful and seeing it get destroyed is the last thing my broken heart could bear."

The creature snickered before a bright white light enveloped the creature's body condensing its shape until it looked the size of him but more humanoid?

As the white light receded, Caedes' eyes popped out of their sockets as he looked at the young girl in front of him.

The boy tried to step back but found himself tied by the tentacles at his neck.

"Y-You a-are a-a girl?!?"
